Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the psychology of the millennial junior generation in several big cities in Indonesia who are intensely using Instagram and have an impact on their impulse buying. This study uses quantitative methods. The analytical technique used is SEM (Structural Equation Model) with LISREL software. A total of 390 junior millennial respondents (born 1991-1998) filled out an online questionnaire using a google form. The results showed that instagram had an insignificant direct effect on impulse buying. However, Instagram has a significant indirect effect through self-esteem on impulse buying. Neuroticism has the greatest influence on the impulse buying of millennial juniors. Based on the calculation of the indirect effect, it can be seen that self-esteem in this study is fully mediated for the instagram and neuroticism variables. Thus it can be concluded that Instagram has an important role in the psychological formation of the millennial junior generation. The intensity of excessive use of Instagram can lower self-esteem so that they compensate for these feelings through impulse buying. The limitation in this study is that it only uses one personality characteristic of the five existing personalities. The contribution of this research is to strengthen Murk (2006) self-esteem theory as a development of Rosenberg's (1989) theory. In addition, the results of this study can also be a recommendation for online business people who aggressively advertise their products through Instagram in order to choose the right marketing strategy.

Abstract

This research aims to determine and prove the influence of compensation and work environment on work motivation and its impact on work productivity, both directly and indirectly. The population in this study were employees of the Operations and Production Directorate of the Operations Compartment, Pusri 2B Ammonia Work Unit, totaling 87 people. namely 87 employees. The data analysis used in this research is using the Structural Equation Model (SEM) analysis method which is operated through the Partial Least Square (PLS) program. The results of this research show that the Compensation variable influences Work Motivation, the Work Environment variable influences Work Motivation, the Compensation variable influences Work Productivity, the Work Environment variable influences Employee Work Productivity, the Work Motivation variable influences Employee Work Productivity, the Compensation variable influences Productivity Work has an indirect influence with Work Motivation as a mediating variable, the Work Environment variable on Work Productivity has an indirect influence with Work Motivation as a mediating variable. The R2 value for the latent variable Work Motivation as a mediating variable is 0.949, which means that this value identifies that variations in Employee Work Motivation can be explained by exogenous latent variables (Compensation and Work Environment) amounting to 94.9% while the remaining 5.1% is explained by variables other. The R2 value for the latent variable Work Productivity is 0.939, which means that this value identifies that variations in Work Productivity can be explained by exogenous variables (Compensation, Work Environment and Work Motivation) amounting to 93.9% while the remaining 6.1% is explained by variables that are not present. in research.

Abstract

  This study endeavors to ascertain the impact of work-life balance, interpersonal communication, and work environment on employee job satisfaction within the PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang employee cooperative. Employing quantitative methods and survey techniques, this research employs Multiple Linear Regression with SPSS software as the measurement tool. The sample for this study encompasses 40 respondents, who were purposively selected to ensure relevance. The respondents completed the questionnaire online. The research findings indicate that work-life balance, interpersonal communication, and the work environment exert a positive and significant influence on employee job satisfaction at the PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang employee cooperative, both collectively and individually.

Abstract

This review aims to examine in depth what factors influence Generation Z's online purchase intention. In addition, the author also examines the online shopping research framework model as a reference to be developed in further research. The author collects the results of previous studies regarding online purchase intentions for 10 years (2011 – 2021) from various international journal sources. Based on the results of previous studies, the research model framework uses TAM (Technology Acceptence Model) variables, trust, social factors, security, and website quality. The main finding in previous research shows that the security factor greatly determines a person's online purchase intention. The security factor here is not just a product guarantee to consumers, but also about consumer data that is not easily hacked by irresponsible parties. The convenience of the payment system also influences online purchase intentions. In addition, utilitarian and hedonic motives encourage individuals to make online purchases. The utilitarian motive is concerned with consumer needs, while the hedonic motive emphasizes pleasure.

Abstract

Kebangkrutan biasanya diawali dengan tanda kesulitan keuangan yang dialami oleh perusahaan. Sebelum terjadinya kebangkrutan, maka untuk mencegah terjadinya kebangkrutan diperlukan analisis kebangkrutan dengan salah satu model dalam memprediksi kebangkrutan ialah menggunakan Model Altman Z-Score. Penelitian ini menggunakan model Altman Z-Score dengan variabel working capital to total assets, retained earning to total asset, earning before interest and taxes to total asset, dan Market Value of Equity to Total Liabilities. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada tiga perusahaan dari dua belas perusahaan yang mengalami financial distress yaitu Bukit Uluwatu Villa Tbk, Ciputra Realty Tbk dan Saraswati Griya Lestari dan sembilan perusahaan tidak mengalami financial distress. Dapat disumpulkan bahwa metode Altman Z-score dapat memprediksi kondisi financial distress pada perusahaan sub sektor Hotel Restoran dan Pariwisata yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the online impulsive buying behavior of the millennial senior generation (born in 1983-1990). This study uses a quantitative method with a survey method. A tool for measuring using SEM (Structural Equation Model) with LISREL software. The sample in this study was 470 respondents, they filled out a questionnaire online. The results of the study show that the effect of religiosity on impulsive buying is not significant. Furthermore, the calculation of the indirect effect of the religiosity variable through self-esteem mediation on impulsive buying shows a significant effect so that self-esteem in this study mediates perfectly (full mediated). But for the hedonic motive variable, self-esteem is only partially mediated. Further research has implications theoretically and practically. Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh Pelatihan dan Disiplin Kerja terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten PALI, baik secara langsung maupun melalui Motivasi Kerja sebagai variabel mediasi. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 58 pegawai, dan seluruhnya dijadikan sampel (sampling jenuh). Analisis data menggunakan metode SEM dengan PLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pelatihan dan Disiplin Kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Motivasi Kerja dan Kinerja, baik langsung maupun tidak langsung melalui Motivasi Kerja. Nilai R² untuk Motivasi Kerja sebesar 0,949 dan untuk Kinerja sebesar 0,985, menunjukkan kontribusi variabel bebas sangat besar. Motivasi Kerja terbukti sebagai variabel mediasi antara Disiplin Kerja dan Kinerja. Oleh karena itu, peningkatan kinerja perlu didukung oleh pelatihan yang menyentuh aspek teknis dan motivasional, pengawasan disiplin yang konsisten, serta sistem insentif berbasis prestasi, jalur karier jelas, dan lingkungan kerja yang mendukung.
