Abstract

Secara faktual, moralitas dan karakter bangsa, khususnya dikalangan pelajar tingkat SLTA saat ini telah mulai runtuh. Hal ini terbukti dengan tingginya tingkat kekerasan seperti tawuran, pelecehan seksual dan perkelahian di dunia pendidikan. Isu-isu utama tersebut bukanlah sesuatu yang bisa dianggap sepele. Kasus-kasus yang terjadi di kalangan pelajar saat ini telah masuk dalam kategori sangat memprihatinkan bahkan tidak sedikit yang berurusan dengan aparat hukum. Dalam kondisi seperti ini, yang dibutuhkan adalah melalui pendidikan yang berbasis perdamaian atau peace education. Dalam hal ini peace education dianggap sebagai salah satu solusi alternatif dari masalah yang terjadi saat ini. Masalah utama dari penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut, pertama bagaimana konsep dari peace education. Kedua, menganalisis nilai dan implementasi dari peace education yang terkandung dalam materi Dakwah Nabi Muhammad Periode Madinah antara materi MA dan SMA Penelitian ini dilihat dari jenisnya menggunakan metode library research (kepustakaan). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Grounded Theory Library Research. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: pertama, peace education merupakan konsep pendidikan yang bermuara pada generasi yang cinta damai, berkembangnya budaya anti kekerasan dan keterampilan dalam menyelesaikan konflik. Kedua, nilai dan implementasi yang terkandung dalam materi dakwah Nabi Muhammad SAW periode Madinah adalah: persatuan, solidaritas kemanusiaan, toleransi, kasih sayang dan empati. Kata-kata kunci: Peace Education, Materi Dakwah

Abstract

Thibaq adalah penggabungan suatu perkara dengan lawannya dalam satu kalimat. Thibaq terbagi menjadi dua jenis, yaitu Thibaq Ijab dan Thibaq Salbi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan kajian analisis Balaghah tentang Thibaq dan makna kata yang mengandung Thibaq pada Juz 27 Al-Qur'an. Metode penelitian yang digunakan oleh peneliti dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Metode pengumpulan bahan yang digunakan adalah metode kepustakaan, dan sumber bahan penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari dua jenis, yaitu sumber bahan primer dan sumber bahan sekunder. Dari hasil penelitian, ada beberapa hal yang ditemukan oleh peneliti melalui prosedur yang dilakukan, sebagai berikut: Peneliti menemukan 35 ayat Thibaq, dengan 41 ayat Thibaq Ijab dan 3 ayat Thibaq Salbi. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menemukan Thibaq dalam Surah At-Tur sebanyak 2 ism dan 2 fi'il. Dalam Surah An-Najm, peneliti menemukan 5 ism dan 4 fi'il. Dalam Surah Al-Qamar, peneliti menemukan 1 ism. Dalam Surah Ar-Rahman, peneliti menemukan 4 ism dan 1 fi'il. Dalam Surah Al-Waqi'ah, peneliti menemukan 2 ism. Dalam Surah Al-Hadid, peneliti menemukan 17 ism, 6 fi'il, dan 1 ism dan fi'il.

Abstract

This study is entitled A Comparative Analysis of Arabic and English Language Literacy in Islamic and General Universities: Students' and Lecturers’ Perspectives . It aims to compare the literacy conditions of Arabic and English in two types of universities and identify perceptions, teaching strategies, and factors influencing language proficiency from students' and lecturers’ perspectives. The research employed a qualitative approach with a comparative case study design, involving in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis at two higher education institutions. Participants included 12 students and 6 lecturers. Findings revealed significant differences in motivation, usage practices, and language policy between the two university types. Students at Islamic universities showed greater focus on Arabic, while those at general universities prioritized English. However, both groups faced similar challenges in active language production. Recommendations are provided to improve teaching strategies and align language policy implementation.

Abstract

Background: In Arabic linguistics, morphology is a parameter (mizan) of Arabic that is needed in the syntactic subsystem, because words act as input units to form sentences and words are the basis of a language. Purpose: This research article discusses morphological changes that occur in the process of At-ta’rib (Arabization) in the form of absorption and formation of foreign words and terms into Arabic. Method: This research is literature research. Primary data sources are obtained from al-Jazirah magazine, and secondary data sources are literature, both in the form of books, journals, and research results. Data collection is done with documentation, listening, and note-taking techniques. Data analysis techniques using; 1) open coding, 2) grounded theory analysis are described descriptively. Results and Discussion: The results of this study explain that in the structure of the word At-ta’rib (Arabization), in addition to using and utilizing existing rules with qiyas and wazan-wazan (word scales) in Arabic, modern morphology that comes with the process of affixation also plays an important role in the formation of new words and changing the class of words from certain lexical elements to other lexical elements. Based on the results  of the study, the structure of the word At-ta’rib (Arabization) uses several forms of affixation, namely the form of perfixes الاستراتجي)), Infix ماجستير)), suffix تكنولوجيا)), and circulate الديموقراطي)). Conclusions and Implications: Modern morphological changes can be used as a basis that Arabic vocabulary always adapts to the needs and developments of the times. The formation of new vocabulary as a result of modern arabization (At-ta'rib) involves the morphological processes of "derivation" and "inflection" both of these processes can change words as lexical elements, and can be applied to form new vocabulary that does not yet exist. The implications of this research help to facilitate the learning of modern morphology and the understanding of the process of new vocabulary formation needed in global communication. Thus, Arabic vocabulary that is not yet available can be made with morphological changes that are in accordance with the rules of ta'rib, are agreed upon in use, and are not also useful for fulfilling new vocabulary for special needs.

Abstract

This article discusses the semiotic study of the Quran using the heuristic and hermeneutic approaches developed by Michael Camille Riffaterre. The focus of the analysis is on Surah Al-Anbiya' verses 59-62, which narrate the story of Prophet Ibrahim and his struggle against idol worshipers. In the heuristic analysis, the research centers on understanding the surface text of the Quran, such as the dialogues and actions of Prophet Ibrahim and the reactions of the idol worshipers. This heuristic analysis reveals the chronology of events and actions of Prophet Ibrahim and underscores the importance of understanding the literal meaning of the Quranic text.Meanwhile, Riffaterre's hermeneutic analysis delves deeper into the hidden meanings and implications of this story. In these verses, there is symbolism that reflects a shift in the mindset of the idol worshipers as they come to realize their error. The consequences of misguided beliefs and the wisdom of worshiping Allah as the One and Only God become the moral message highlighted in this hermeneutic analysis.This semiotic study of the Quran provides a more comprehensive understanding of the story of Prophet Ibrahim and idol worship in the cultural and religious context of that time. The heuristic and hermeneutic approaches used by Riffaterre help unearth deeper meanings and relevant moral messages that can be applied in everyday life. Thus, this semiotic study strengthens the understanding of wisdom and truth in worshiping Allah as the one and only God

Abstract

Al-Kala>m al-khabary adalah ungkapan yang bisa benar atau dusta. Al-Kala>m al-khabary dibagi menjadi tiga jenis yaitu: al-ibtida>y, al-t}alaby, dan al-inka>ry. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini berfokus untuk mengungkap jenis dan tujuan tuturan al-kala>m al-khabary dalam juz dua puluh sembilan. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kepustakaan. Sumber bahan penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ada dua jenis, yaitu sumber data primer dan sumber data sekunder. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah melalui metode studi pustaka, editing, pengorganisasian, penyimpulan dan dokumentasi. Dari hasil penelitian, ada beberapa hal yang peneliti dapatkan melalui prosedur-prosedur yang dilakukan, antara lain sebagai berikut:   Jenis-jenis tuturan ahli pada bagian kedua puluh sembilan dan kedua puluh terdiri dari: al-kala>m al-khabaryal-ibtida>y  dalam juz 29 ditemukan 130 ayat, al-kala>m al-khabaryal-t}alaby 77 ayat, dan al-kala>m al-khabaryal-inkary  18 ayat.  Tujuan al-kala>m al-khabary pada juz kedua puluh sembilan dalam al-Qur'an yaitu fa>idatu al-khabar, la>zimu al-fa>idah, dan izha>ru al-d}a’fi.

Abstract

The Arabic language of the Qur'an exhibits a distinctive nominal sentence structure that is rich in theological and rhetorical meaning. This article presents how nominal constructions in Surah al-Maʿārij reflect theological messages and rhetorical functions through syntactic and semiotic analysis. The method used was qualitative-descriptive, with data collection techniques in the form of extracting all nominal sentences from 44 verses of the surah, then annotating and analyzing them using X-Bar Theory, Dependency Grammar, and Ferdinand de Saussure's semiotics. The research findings indicated that nominal sentences affirm the certainty of divine punishment (verses 1–2), the absence of helpers for unbelievers (verses 3–4), the transcendental authority of angels (verse 7), the ethical command to be patient with beauty (verse 8), and the semantic contrast between human perception and divine reality regarding the proximity of punishment (verses 9–10). The integration of X-Bar, Dependency Grammar, and Saussure's semiotics reveals that the syntactic variations of the Qur'an are not merely grammatical phenomena, but rather a system of signs that convey profound theological and rhetorical messages. X-Bar analysis highlights the layered projections in nominal phrases, while Dependency Grammar reveals the asymmetrical relationship between the core and its dependent that shapes the meaning of the Qur'an. From a semiotic perspective, Saussure's dyadic model of signifier and signified shows how nominal sentences function not only structurally but also symbolically in signifying divine authority and human accountability.
