Abstract

This article aims to discuss the concept of absolute objects or maf'ul muthlaq in the Arabic perspective and analyze the examples in the Alquran, especially in juz Amma. Besides that, this article is also enriched with a comparative analysis between the concept of maf'ul muthlaq and the concept of cognate objects in English which are considered to have some similarities. In writing this article, the author uses descriptive qualitative approaches and types of library research. Data collected from primary and secondary sources include: articles in scientific journals relating to the study of nahwu and grammar, Arabic language books both in Indonesian as well as Arabic, seminar proceedings, scientific papers and so on. Furthermore, the data is read repeatedly, compared then analyzed to formulate conclusion. The finding shows that there are 15 maf'ul muthlaq case in juz Amma scattered in 8 surahs. 11 of them are maf'ul muthlaq as an affirmation and the remaining 4 are maf'ul muthlaq in qualitative meaning. All of them use fathah grammatical markers. The absolute object or maf'ul muthlaq and cognate object have similarities and differences. The similarities are in terms of the forming verb stem and the meaning of the absolute object itself as an explanatory type. While the differences are in the type of verb that can nominalize as an absolute object itself and its function as an affirmation and explanation of numbers.

Abstract

The mastery of vocabulary is a crucial aspect in Arabic language learning, as language fluency significantly depends on the command of mufradat. After conducting an in-depth analysis of the problems and needs in the field, several issues were identified, including low proficiency in reading Arabic, inadequate mastery of mufradat, and limitations in the use of learning media by teachers. Therefore, this research aims to design an Android application for vocabulary learning among high school students. This study design is a research and development. The applied model in this research is the Borg and Gall model of research and development, as summarized by Sugiyono. The population of this study is the tenth-grade students at MAN 1 in Gorontalo Regency, and the sample consists of 12 students from class X IPA 2 as the control group and 17 students from class X IPA 3 as the experimental group. The data sources for this study are the students, Arabic language teachers, and experts. The data collection methods used in this study are observation, interviews, questionnaires, and tests. The results of this study are as follows: 1) The researcher designed and developed an interactive Android-based learning application for vocabulary learning. The process of designing and developing multimedia goes through several stages, including problem and need analysis, product design, design validation, design improvement, product testing, improvement, and usage testing. 2) The Android application is effective in vocabulary learning for students. The t-test analysis shows that the t-value of 4.273 is greater than the t-table value of 1.7396, indicating that learning vocabulary using the application is more effective than learning without the application. The use of multimedia learning integrated with students' phones provides better learning outcomes.

Abstract

Asesmen formatif merupakan evaluasi sistematis terhadap proses pembelajaran yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil pembelajaran. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi proses pengembangan instrumen asesmen formatif menggunakan teka-teki kata dan aplikasinya dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab. Dengan menggunakan kombinasi metode kuantitatif dan kualitatif, pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan pengujian, dengan analisis menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa instrumen asesmen yang dirancang memiliki validitas konten yang kuat dan sejalan dengan kurikulum. Namun, analisis hasil asesmen mengungkap tingkat penguasaan kosakata yang rendah di kalangan siswa, bersamaan dengan kesalahan dan kelemahan yang teridentifikasi, seperti penggunaan huruf kosakata yang tidak tepat dalam menulis. Instrumen asesmen formatif yang dikembangkan terbukti efisien dan efektif dalam menggambarkan kemampuan siswa dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab khsusunya dalam penguasaan kosakata yang masih perlu ditingkatkan kedepannya. Wawasan yang diperoleh dari analisis asesmen formatif ini diharapkan dapat menjadi dasar untuk peningkatan pembelajaran bahasa Arab di masa depan, khususnya dalam meningkatkan penguasaan kosakata.

Abstract

The Mukhayyam Al-Lughah Al-Arabiyah program has successfully had a positive impact on students' introduction to the Arabic language, being implemented annually without significant issues. This study aims to analyze the planning and execution of the program, as well as the factors contributing to its success. A qualitative research approach was employed, with data collected through interviews with 10 informants, observations of three Mukhayyam sessions, and documentation of program records. The findings indicate that Mukhayyam Al-Lughah Al-Arabiyah is designed with a curriculum tailored for beginners, strict Arabic language usage regulations, and supported by maximal mentorship guidance. The program is conducted in a controlled environment, integrating daily activities to foster a sustainable linguistic environment. The success of the program stems from the integration of educational and social activities, which promote a sense of camaraderie and familial spirit among participants. Through teamwork and shared experiences, the program enhances both academic and personal development, while ensuring sustainability and continued student engagement. Kegiatan Mukhayyam Al-Lughah Al-Arabiyah berhasil memberikan dampak positif bagi mahasiswa dalam pengenalan bahasa Arab, yang dilaksanakan setiap tahun dengan sukses tanpa masalah berarti. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perencanaan dan pelaksanaan kegiatan tersebut serta faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kesuksesannya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif, dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara terhadap 10 narasumber, observasi pada tiga kali pelaksanaan Mukhayyam, dan dokumentasi berkas-berkas kegiatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Mukhayyam Al-Lughah Al-Arabiyah dirancang dengan kurikulum yang ramah bagi pemula, peraturan wajib berbahasa Arab yang ketat, dan didukung oleh pembimbingan mentor maksimal. Program ini dilaksanakan dalam lingkungan yang terkontrol dan mengintegrasikan aktivitas sehari-hari untuk menciptakan bi'ah lughawiyah yang berkelanjutan. Kesuksesan program ini berasal dari integrasi kegiatan edukasi dan sosial, yang mendorong terciptanya rasa kebersamaan dan semangat kekeluargaan di antara peserta. Melalui kerjasama tim dan pengalaman bersama, program ini meningkatkan perkembangan akademik dan pribadi peserta, sambil memastikan keberlanjutan dan keterlibatan mahasiswa.

Abstract

The Ministry of Religion has issued a decision in 2019 for curriculum changes in PAI and Arabic subjects to replace the previous KMA decision, namely KMA 164 and now replaced with KMA 183 & 184. With this new thing, some differences will also be found. This research aims to describe the differences and similarities that exist in specific competencies in cognitive shutter as well as the advantages and disadvantages that exist in Arabic subjects. This study used a literature study approach by means of literature and the object of research was the Arabic language curriculum in class VII Tsanawiyyah. It was found that there are several differences and similarities in terms of objectives and materials that must be mastered by students. Therefore, the teacher must adjust more and be more competent in teaching learning.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the characteristics of the Arabic language used in Pondok Pesantren Modern Alhasyimiah Darul Ulum Sipaho. The study encompasses five main aspects: fluency in Arabic, the structure of the language employed, the influence of the mother tongue on language usage, literal translation, and proposed solutions. The research methodology employed is a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection through interview and observation. Data is subsequently analyzed using deduction and description methods. The findings of this study reveal that Pondok Pesantren Modern Alhasyimiah Darul Ulum Sipaho places a strong emphasis on fluency in the Arabic language as a crucial aspect of Arabic language proficiency. However, the teaching of language structure is somewhat limited, resulting in various structural errors in everyday Arabic communication. Additionally, the influence of local languages or dialects on Arabic language usage is present, yet a practical approach to Arabic language instruction boosts students' confidence in communication. The phenomenon of literal translation in Arabic also underscores the importance of contextual understanding in foreign language use. As a solution, the pesantren offers supplementary training programs, interaction with native Arabic speakers, and the promotion of active Arabic language use in daily life. The results above imply the importance of emphasizing contextual understanding and active use of the Arabic language in daily life, as well as the need for a practical approach to teaching language structure to enhance everyday communication in Arabic.

Komite Persiapan Penerapan Syariat Islam (KPPSI) menghadapi dinamika pro dan kontra di Sulawesi Selatan, di mana Islam kanan mendukungnya melalui berbagai organisasi Islam di luar NU dan Muhammadiyah, dan dipengaruhi oleh tokoh-tokoh mantan DI/TII Sulawesi Selatan yang mendirikan lembaga pendidikan Islam seperti Darul Istiqomah Maros dan Darul Huffaz Tujuhtujuh Bone. Selain itu, dukungan datang dari keturunan Kahar Muzakkar yang aktif dalam kegiatan keagamaan dan politik, seperti Aziz Kahar, yang memainkan peran penting dalam arena politik, termasuk sebagai anggota Dewan Perwakilan Daerah (DPD RI) dan tokoh dalam Hidayatulah Sulawesi Selatan. Di sisi lain, Islam tengah, yang berafiliasi dengan NU dan diwakili oleh alumni As'adiyah serta tokoh DDI, cenderung menentang KPPSI, meskipun ada kader DDI yang mendukungnya. Namun, perbedaan pandangan ini tidak menimbulkan kebencian, karena gerakan KPPSI dalam mengamankan legitimasi politik dalam kerangka demokrasi telah memperkuat posisi Islam sayap kanan, dan KPPSI dianggap sebagai representasi positif bagi komunitas Bugis dalam mengartikulasikan aspirasi Islam politik dalam konteks demokrasi.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the trends in item analysis research with a focus on the background, parameters used, and the utilization of assisting applications. The research method employed is descriptive qualitative, using a literature review approach involving data collection through documentation methods from Arabic language item analysis studies conducted in the last five years. Data analysis was conducted through qualitative analysis, examining each study and making small notes that were subsequently summarized. The research findings indicate that the background of item analysis research in Arabic language in Indonesia includes the absence of item analysis in schools, the presence of items that are either too easy or too difficult for students, and the desire to improve the quality of items. Commonly used parameters in item analysis include difficulty level and discrimination power, while distractor effectiveness is only used in a small number of studies. Furthermore, the research also shows that commonly used applications include Microsoft Excel, SPSS, and Anates. Therefore, future item analysis research is recommended to focus on the use of more advanced analysis methods and parameter measurements, as well as to utilize a wider range of applications.

Abstract

Hasil menunjukkan bahwa instrumen asesmen yang dirancang memiliki validitas konten yang kuat dan sejalan dengan kurikulum. Namun, analisis hasil asesmen mengungkap tingkat penguasaan kosakata yang rendah di kalangan siswa, bersamaan dengan kesalahan dan kelemahan yang teridentifikasi, seperti penggunaan huruf kosakata yang tidak tepat dalam menulis. Instrumen asesmen formatif yang dikembangkan terbukti efisien dan efektif dalam menggambarkan kemampuan siswa dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab khsusunya dalam penguasaan kosakata yang masih perlu ditingkatkan kedepannya. Wawasan yang diperoleh dari analisis asesmen formatif ini diharapkan dapat menjadi dasar untuk peningkatan pembelajaran bahasa Arab di masa depan, khususnya dalam meningkatkan penguasaan kosakata.
