Abstract

This research was conducted because there are still found some difficulties in learning Arabic. In this case, students still have the view on their mind that the Arabic is a language that is quite difficult to understand. In theory, the students have been able to distinguish the grammatically structure of noun (isim) and verb (fiil), but it was still found some errors when the teacher asked some questions related about it directly in the class. Yet, the some students still answered mistakenly, even though, they’ve known theoretically. Thus, it was found that there were still students who did not fully understand the material explained during the class. This study is not only aimed to determine the efforts that have been done by teachers in improving the values academic in learning Arabic language, but it is also to determine the extent of how student's abilities and their understanding in learning Arabic. This type of this research was descriptive research with a qualitative approach. This study will describe as accurate as possible toward the situation, facts or circumstances of an individual or group by describing the data with narrative text. This research was conducted at Darul Fattah Junior High School Bandar Lampung. Data collection methods used are interviews, observation, documentation and questionnaires. The results of the study indicated that both of the teachers and the school have made such a significant efforts to improve student learning outcomes, for example by giving new vocabularies intensively every day, providing more intensive individual study classes for students who still found difficulties in the material delivered in the class, helding an additional informal learning hours, and conducting a special mandatory language days in a week. Moreover, the teachers have also used methods and media maximally to attract their enthusiasm in learning. Thus, by these efforts done, most of the students have successfully achieved the standard learning outcomes in the class remarkably

Abstract

This research is based on the low understanding of students in Arabic material, especially in mabni and mu'rab in the structure of Arabic. The method that the researchers used was "Application of the Qawaid Wa Tarjamah Method to Improve Understanding of the Basic Mabni and Mu'rab Arabic Language Structures". The formulation of the problem in this study is: can the application of the Qawaid Wa Tarjamah method increase the understanding of the basic Arabic language structures of mabni and mu'rab?. This research has been carried out in two cycles. Based on the implementation of this study using the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method which can help improve teacher teaching methods in the classroom, and can also be called a qualitative method. The average value of the pre test is 26.39. Researchers believe that this method is appropriate to apply. After being given this method, cycle I tests were carried out and an average value of 70.20 was obtained. There was an increase of 43.81 points. Then in the second cycle test obtained an average value of 80.90 points. Increased by 10.7 points from the cycle test. The increase in these two cycles was due to the maximum teaching techniques and the support of high student enthusiasm. From the results obtained from this study, it was concluded that the application of the Qawaid Wa Tarjamah method can improve understanding of the basic Arabic structure of Mabni and Mu'rab.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of understanding the science of Arabic morphology which is very influential in changing the form of words and their meanings. Jama’ Taksir was chosen because its qiyasi and sima'i nature and has a variety of forms in Surah Al-Maidah and many Arabic learners do not understand that Jama' Taksir has wazan as a measure of word change. The researcher chose Surah Al-Maidah because it contains many Shari'a laws and is one of the long surah. The purpose of this study is to describe the number of Jama' Taksir in Surah Al-Maidah and the process of forming Jama’ Taksir from mufrad to jama’. This research is Literature Research, namely Research that takes research materials from several references or books that are in accordance with the research theme by taking data from the Al-Qur'an surah Al-Maidah using descriptive analysis. The data collection is done by observing the primary and secondary data sources qualitatively. The results of this study, found as many as 72 sentences of Jama’ Taksir contained in 47 verses of the total 120 verses of Surah Al-Maidah. Of the 72 sentences of Jama' Taksir, there are 22 sentence in the form of Jama' Qillah and 50 sentence in the form of Jama' Katsrah. This research is expected to provide benefits and can be used as source in literature research.

Abstract

Islamic Boarding School Hasanuddin Bandar Lampung is one of the Islamic educational institutions that has the aims of realizing the values ​​of morality, skill, knowledge in order to create a truly Islamic society. This research was conducted to determine how the application of the Arabic book sorogan method at Islamic Boarding School Hasanuddin Bandar Lampung. The sorogan method is one of the traditional methods applied at Islamic Boarding School Hasanuddin Bandar Lampung to assist students in reading and understanding the yellow book which is considered still effective and relevant to be applied at Islamic Boarding School Hasanuddin Bandar Lampung. In this study the authors used a qualitative descriptive approach. The objectives of this study were (1) To describe the learning process of the yellow book with the sorogan method of the Arabic book in Islamic Boarding School Hasanuddin Bandar Lampung; (2) To describe the supporting factors for carrying out the sorogan method; (3) To describe the inhibiting factors in carrying out the Sorogan method and; (4) To describe the solution to the inhibiting factors for the ability to read the yellow book in the Arabic book sorogan method at Islamic Boarding School Hasanuddin Bandar Lampung. The data collection techniques used are through observation, documentation, and interviews. The results of this study illustrate that the Islamic Boarding School Hasanuddin has produced a number of students who are able to read the book with the initial stage of knowing the sacred, the second stage knowing Arabic grammar. And the third stage can give the real ma'na contained in the book read. Islamic Boarding School Hasanuddin Bandar Lampung did not rule out the possibility of the learning process using the sorogan method and involving senior students to directly share their knowledge.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the use of memorization and discussion methods in improving student learning outcomes in class X.2 and X.5 Yasmida Ambarawa High School. With the matter of subject- Predicate (المُبْتَدَأُ وَ الخَبَرُ) Thus the hypothesis of this study is the influence of the use of these methods to improve student learning outcomes. This research is a field research (Class Action Research) that is analyzing the effect of student learning outcomes in class X.2 using memorization methods and class X.5 using discussion methods. This research uses quantitative and qualitative data collection techniques. Qualitative data are taken from: student observations, student memorization data, observations of student activities, and teacher / teacher activities (APKG). While quantitative are taken from: cognitive, affective, and psychomotor. From this study, it was concluded that teaching subject-Predicate lesson (المُبْتَدَأُ وَالخَبَرُ) by using memorization method had more effect on improving student learning outcomes, student learning outcomes using memorization methods were not affected by student activities, and using discussion methods, student activities affect the results of memorization in student learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan problematika non-linguistik dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab, bahwasanya macam-macam keluhan tentang rendahnya mutu dan prestasi pembelajaran bahasa Arab acap kita dengar dan temukan dari bermacam- macam riset dan tulisan. Usaha guna memperbaiki mutu pendidikan juga sudah dicoba dengan bermacam upaya. Namun, hasilnya senantiasa saja masih jauh dari mencukupi. Bahasa Arab adalah mata pelajaran yang wajib dipelajari di lembaga pendidikan islam dari mulai jenjang Madrasah Ibtidaiyah/Sekolah Dasat Islam Terpadu sampai Perguruan Tinggi Islam. Dalam proses pembelajaran bahasa Arab, hambatan-hambatan selalu ada, hambatan-hambatan tersebut banyak menyebabkan kesulitan siswa dalam belajar bahasa Arab. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa. Penentuan subjek penelitian dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling yang berjumlah 28 informan. Metode pengumpulan data dengan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran bahasa Arab dan Problematika Non-Linguistik dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab di SDIT Muhammadiyah Gunung Terang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Proses Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran di kelas tidak selalu berjalan dengan baik. Kesimpulan Proses Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran di kelas (1) kurangnya minat dan motivasi dari dalam diri siswa untuk mempelajari bahasa Arab, (2) sulitnya siswa membaca dan memahami arti dari setiap kosakata bahasa Arab, (3) kurangnya perhatian orangtua terhadap siswa tentang kesadaran dan dorongan belajar diluar sekolah, (4) metode membaca dan drill yang membuat siswa merasa tidak tertarik untuk belajar bahasa Arab lebih mendalam.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mendeskripsikan tentang penerapan metode Drill siswa kelas IV di SDIT Permata Bunda II Bandar Lampung serta faktor-faktor pendukung dan penghambat yang dihadapi. Pertanyaan dalam penelitian ini antara lain “Bagaimana penerapan penggunaan metode Drill dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab di Kelas IV Yunus SDIT Permata Bunda II Bandar Lampung?”. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, guru bahasa Arab, pegawai tata usaha, dan data hasil proses pembelajaran Bahasa Arab siswa kelas IV Yunus di SDIT Permata Bunda II Bandar Lampung. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan: 1) penerapan metode Drill dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Arab siswa kelas IV Yunus di SDIT Permata Bunda II Bandar Lampung melalui tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. 2) metode Drill dalam penelitian ini sangat efektif karena membuat siswa aktif, bertanggung jawab, serta dapat berkerjasama antar teman dalam satu kelompoknya. 3) faktor yang mendukung dan yang menghambat proses pelaksanaan metode Drill diantaranya, faktor pendukung: iklim pembelajaran yang kondusif, kelas IV Yunus SDIT Permata Bunda II Bandar Lampung, serta pembelajaran Tahsin Tahfizh yang intens. Adapun faktor penghambat: keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana, lingkungan berbahasa, serta latar belakang siswa yang kompleks Bahasa Arab.
