The problems that occur at this time are many children who are still dependent on their parents to do every activity. Independent attitude is very dependent on parents, often children cry when they stay for a while by their mother or caregiver. This study describes the influence of parenting on the birth order of children towards independent social behavior using a quantitative and path analysis. The research sample was obtained from 214 children aged 5-6 years using the simple random sampling technique and the Slovin formula from a population of 445 Kindergarten children in Gugus Anggrek, East Banjarmasin District. Also, data were collected through questionnaires, documentation, and observation. The results showed that parenting patterns affect the birth order of children towards their independent social behavior.

ABSTRACT Service learning embedded in the course plays a vital role in transforming theoretical knowledge into practical one. It provides students with the concept and brings them in contextualizing their concept that they have already learned in the classroom. This study explores the process of enacting service learning using asset-based approach to university-community engagement. This study employed multiple data sets from observation, semi-structured interviews with teachers and principles, focused group discussion with students, and studentsâ€™ products of digital textbooks. The findings revealed that service learning using the asset-based approach empowered all the stakeholders and contributed to emergence of the equitable partnership between university and community. The studentsâ€™ product of a digital textbook represents collaboration between English teachers, the teacher educator, and the university students who successfully designed learning resources that meet the academic level and interests of students of the school partners. Being an effective teacher requires teaching experience and practical knowledge about the classroom. The knowledge can be obtained from classroom lectures and teaching practices can be learnt by having internship programs at schools and the community. This study aims to uncover the transformation of Indonesian pre-service teachers to their Professional Development during their participation in the international internship program in Thailand. Qualitative method was carried out to understand participants’ experience and benefits of the program. The study interviewed seven pre-service teachers who were selected enrolling in the program. The finding indicated that international teaching internships the participants involved help improve their professional development. They believed that there were three aspects affecting their professionalism, namely, pedagogical skills, language competencies, and life skills. This present study highlights that participating in teaching internships is useful for students’ professional development. As they will be a teacher, having teaching practice will provide students with the opportunity to apply what they have learnt to the real-world teaching situation, and this will be meaningful for their profession.

Ikan Lele Sangkuriang (Clarias gariepinus var) merupakan salah satu spesies ikan air tawar yang hidup diperairan tenang. Ikan ini merupakan jenis ikan konsumsi yang memiliki prospek menjanjikan dipasaran. Permintaan terhadap ikan lele sangkuriang yang semakin meningkat, maka dalam kegiatan Proyek Mandiri ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kelangsungan hidup ikan serta pertumbuhan ikan lele sangkuriang dengan penambahan tepung kulit pisang yang diberikan pada lele sangkuriang. Pemeliharaan dilakukan selama tujuh minggu atau lima puluh hari. Pemeliharaan tersebut mendapat hasil akhir bobot rata-rata pada kolam perlakuan sebesar 23,78 gram dan bobot rata-rata akhir pada kolam tanpa perlakuan sebesar 22,35 gram. Sedangkan untuk hasil akhir panjang rata-rata pada kolam perlakuan sebesar 16,32 cm dan panjang rata rata akhir pada kolam tanpa perlakuan sebesar 15,17 cm. Tingkat kelangsungan hidup (SR) pada kolam perlakuan sebesar 100% dan tingkat kelangsungan hidup (SR) pada kolam tanpa perlakuan sebesar 81,6%. Penambahan tepung kulit pisang pada pakan mampu meminimalisir tingkat kanibalisme pada ikan lele sangkuriang karena terdapat kandungan asam amino triptofan yang bisa mengurangi dan menekan kanibalisme yang terjadi.

Keditan village has a superior tourist attraction, namely Kampoeng Pinus Keditan which offers a natural panorama in the form of a pine forest and provides interesting spots to visit. Currently, the management of the Kampung Pinus Keditan tourist attraction is carried out simply and conventionally. There are several problems faced by the management of Pinus Keditan Village, namely; 1). There is no agreement regarding the sharing of profits from the Pine Village tourism business between Perhutani, the Village Government and the Landowner Community, 2) The recording of financial reports is still manual, resulting in frequent errors and 3). Lack of skills of Kampoeng Pine managers in promotion, marketing and outbound tourism guides. The aim of this empowerment is the development of Human Resources (HR) governance in the fields of promotion, marketing and outbound tourism guides and the preparation of digital-based financial reports for the results of the Kampoeng Pine Editan business. The method for implementing this service program uses the Participatory Action Research method with 8 main process cycles including 1) Observation, 2) planning, 3) Program development, 4) Socialization 5) Implementation, 6) Reflection, 7) evaluation, and 8) Follow up. The targets for this service are the Keditan village government, Pine Village managers and village communities. The output of this service program is in the form of improving management skills in promotion, marketing and guiding outbound tourism, digital-based profit-sharing applications for Pine Village tourism businesses, village profiles and tourism profiles for Keditan Pine Village.

This study aims to analyze the factors that contribute to the emergence of female leaders in Aceh Besar, a region known for its strong adherence to patriarchal values. Despite the socio-cultural constraints, five women have attained strategic and sacred leadership positions, challenging traditional gender norms. Employing a qualitative approach, this research utilizes a phenomenological method to explore the lived experiences of these female leaders within the socio-cultural dynamics of Aceh Besar. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and observations, allowing for a comprehensive understanding of the underlying factors that support their leadership roles. The findings reveal that the rise of female leaders in Aceh Besar is driven by a combination of intellectual capacity, social capital, and active participation in public affairs. Their leadership roles signify a shift in societal perceptions, demonstrating that women are increasingly recognized as capable and influential figures in various sectors. Furthermore, their success highlights the evolving nature of gender roles in Aceh Besar, where women are gradually gaining equal opportunities alongside men. Theoretically, this study contributes to the discourse on gender and leadership in patriarchal societies, particularly in Islamic contexts. It underscores the significance of social capital and intellectual empowerment in enabling women to break traditional barriers and reshape societal norms.

The tourism sector contributes to Sumenep Regency's original regional income (PAD). Therefore, its development requires stakeholder intervention. Sustainability of tourism development at Gili Genting Island Beach, Sumenep Regency, Madura requires cooperation between actors in the Hexa Helix concept which consists of six elements, namely education, business, society, government, mass media and health. This research aims to formulate a model and strategy for sustainable development of Beach 9 tourism on Gili Genting Island, Sumenep Regency, Madura. The sustainability of the tourism sector is approached through ecological, socio-cultural, economic, religious and institutional dimensions. Tranformasi digital mempengaruhi industri fashion, terutama dengan penggunaan teknologi Augmented Reality (AR). Penelitian ini menjembatani kesenjangan penelitian empiris dalam memahami perspektif psikologis konsumen pada industri tersebut. Dengan menggunakan survei lapangan terhadap 117 responden generasi Y dan Z di Indonesia, penelitian ini menyoroti pengaruh variabel indepeden value, enjoyment, informativeness, presence, dan consumer experience terhadap purchase intention. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengambilan data menggunakan metode survei lapangan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 223 warga negara Indonesia dari generasi Y dan Z dengan metode convenience sampling. Hasil regresi menunjukkan bahwa hanya consumer experience yang signifikan mempengaruhi purchase intention, menandakan potensi AR dalam meningkatkan pengalaman konsumen dan inovasi produk di industri fashion muslim. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi nyata terhadap pemahaman dan perkembangan industri tersebut.

The purpose of this thesis is to analyze the concept and implementation of character education in early childhood, particularly in preschool education settings. The research approach used is qualitative, with a case study method applied to several early childhood education institutions in Indonesia. Data collection was conducted through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation of learning activities. The research findings indicate that the success of character education in early childhood is influenced by various factors, including the role of educators, the learning methods applied, and support from the family and school environment. Educators play a central role in introducing character values through positive behavior modeling and approaches tailored to the child’s developmental stage. Play-based and storytelling learning methods have been found to be effective in helping children understand and internalize these values. This journal also identifies challenges in the implementation of character education, including educators’ lack of understanding of basic principles of character education and limited time to fully implement a character curriculum. This highlights the need for better training programs and support for educators to help them understand and develop effective character education strategies. In conclusion, character education in early childhood requires a collaborative approach between schools and families to ensure children receive consistent and sustainable character learning. Thus, this study recommends strengthening partnerships between schools and families, as well as adjusting the curriculum to be more flexible so that character values can be taught optimally.
