Abstract

Understanding mathematical concepts is the ability to master material and students' ability to understand, absorb, master, and apply it in mathematics learning. One of the problems that is often encountered in learning mathematics is usually when students cannot work on mathematics problems due to the students' lack of understanding of concepts. Many factors influence students' lack of understanding of concepts, one of which is learning patterns. The Concept Learning Learning Model is an approach to learning that aims to help students understand and master concepts that cover a field of study or subject.

Abstract

Program kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dasar Matematika pada anak usia 8-11 tahun di Desa Empus melalui penerapan metode Outdoor Learning dengan menggunakan pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis lingkungan luar ruangan dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dasar Matematika. Metode Outdoor Learning yang diterapkan mencakup kegiatan pembelajaran di luar kelas yang melibatkan eksplorasi lingkungan sekitar dan penggunaan alat peraga yang relevan. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode ini berkontribusi positif terhadap peningkatan pemahaman dan minat anak dalam belajar Matematika, serta memberikan pengalaman belajar yang lebih menarik dan kontekstual. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan untuk implementasi metode pembelajaran yang inovatif dalam konteks pendidikan dasar

Abstract

This research on Powtoon learning media development aims to explain the feasibility of Powtoon media development in chemical bonding subjects for class X SMA/MA equivalent student. This type of research is development (Research and Development, RD) with 4D development models that include the Define (Definition), Design (Design), Development (Development), Disseminate (Deployment) stages. The data collection instruments used are through media expert validation sheets, material expert validation sheets, teacher response sheets and student response sheets. The data analysis technique used is to calculate the judgment percentage score of experts. Research results show that the developed Powtoon learning media met the valid category with presentation of 89,5% from 2 media experts, while that of the 2 material experts received an presentation of 86%. This learning media also met the good categories from 3 teacher response of 87.3% and of 10 students of 87.9%.
