Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to determine the quality of Civic Education Multiple-Choice items of the first semester final test of tenth-grade students of SMA Negeri 2 MempawahHilirin the academic year of 2018/2019 based on the difficulties, differentiation, validity,reliability, and the effectiveness of distractors.This research used a descriptive quantitative method. The research samplewas taken randomly,comprising 67 tenth-grade students.The object was the first-semester final test items,answer keys, and students’answer sheets. The technique of data collection was done through the interview and documentation method. The analyze dataused the ITEMAN version 3,00. The results show 17 hard questions items (42.5%), 16 medium items (40%), and seven easy items (17.5%). Based on the ability of the differentiating question, there are 10 items categorized as poor items (25%), 24 fine items (60%), and 6 good items (15%). Based on validity,there are 20 valid items (50%), and 20 invalid items (50%). Based on reliability,the test items are reliable with a fine category by the alpha value of 0.548. Based on the effectiveness of distractor,there are 21 excellent items (52.5%), 10 good items (25%), seven fine items (17.5%), and two poor items of distractor (5%). Therefore,the test items of the first-semester final test have good quality.Keywords: Test Item Analysis,Civic Education, SMA Negeri 2 MempawahHilir.

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to determine the effectiveness of using media iSpring Suite 8 to student learning outcomes in history subject of class X IPS SMA Negeri 5 Pontianak. The method of research used experimental with quasi experimental type nonequivalent control group design. The subject of this research  was the X IPS class of SMA Negeri 5 Pontianak. The X IPS 1 as an experimental class and X IPS 3 as a control class which amounted each class is 37 students. The research instrument in this research used the form of multiple choice test with 30 questions. Based on the result of research, the average post-test of control class was 69,05 while for the experimental class, the average was 84,57. The results of the hypothesis test analysis, obtained the significance of the post-test value is 0,000 <0,05, so it is said that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted and the results of the calculation of the effect size (ES) is 0,88. The conclusion that using of media iSpring Suite 8 is effective in improving student learning outcomes in history subjects of class X IPS SMAN 5 Pontianak. Keyword: Effectiveness, media iSpring Suite 8, learning outcomes, history subject, SMA Negeri 5 Pontianak

Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to know diversity in SMAN 2 Pontianak. There were variety tribes such, as Dayak, Melayu and Madura. The writer was interest the way the history teacher taught in such diversity at the school and from different tribes. The method of this research used qualitative descriptive. The subject of research was the studant and the teacher at SMAN 2 Pontianak. The tediniques of data collection are, observation, interview an document ardsive notes. The tools of data collection used interview guide, observation sheets, and document. The result showing is, in this school, the teachers and students respect each other. There is no mayority and minority between students from particular tribes in the class  and the students respect their diverseness. In this situation, the students were learning how to respect and  having tolerance attitude. The teacher implement a learning model that shows diversity on learning process. Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to determine the opinion of history education students to local history learning in the history education program at the FKIP Tanjungpura University. The method used is a survey method with qualitative research. The sources in this study was representatives of history education students who have taken local history courses and lecturers who support local history courses. Data collection techniques used were interview techniques, questionnaire techniques (Google forms), and documents. The results obtaining in this study are (1) students' perceptions to local historical material sources are quite good. Because, the source of the material using accord with the material presented. (2) learning planning is still not good enough. Because lecturer dosen’t make semester learning plans as he should. (3) Students' perceptions to the application of local history learning are not good. Because the lecturer doesn’t effective of lerning method, and he’s always conveys the same material in several meetings. (4) Students' perceptions regarding the evaluation of local history learning are quite good. Abstract

Digital Literacy is one of the crucial components in the field of education, particulary in higher education institutions throughtout Indonesia. This study aims to assess the level of digital literacy among students, their academic achievements, and the correlation between digital literacy and academic performance of Social Studies Education students at Tanjungpura University, Pontianak. This research adopts a quantitative approach, utilizing a survey method with a questionnaire as the data collection tool distributed to students as research subjects. The findings of the study indicate that: 1) the level of digital literacy among students is relatively high (60,8%), 2) student’s academic performance is notably high (80,4%), and 3) there exists a weak iverse correlation between digital literacy anda academic performance (r=-0,048), with a p-value of 0,633 (p>0,05),signifying a negligible relationship between the variables. Consequently, this research concludes that while digital literacy is important, it is not a sole determinant of high academic ahievement among students. Numerous other factors, both internal and external to the individual, contribute to students’ academic success.
