Abstract

The objective of this study was to examine the value of the influence of service quality dimensions, customer perceptions and beliefs on satisfaction in using delivery services. This research was conducted on selected shipping services via e-commerce in Indonesia with a total of 389 respondents. The novelty of this research lay in the social and economic conditions when the COVID-19 pandemic was still ongoing and according to government policies or calls for people to stay at home. This study concluded that the dimensions of assurance and empathy had a positive and significant effect directly and indirectly through trust on customer satisfaction, the tangible dimension only influenced customer satisfaction indirectly through trust. Meanwhile, the other two dimensions of service quality, namely responsiveness and reliability, did not affect customer satisfaction either directly or indirectly through trust. Trust could also mediate between the relationship between perceived value and customer satisfaction. It could be seen that it had an original sample value of 0.161 and a Pvalue of 0.000, which was smaller than 0.05.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a chronic metabolic disorder characterized by hyperglycemia due to insulin deficiency or insulin resistance. Currently available pharmacological treatments often cause unwanted side effects, so alternative therapies that are safer and more effective are needed. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of telang flower extract in reducing blood glucose levels and preventing complications. The potential of Clitoria ternatea as an antidiabetic agent was explored through a systematic literature review, using scientific databases such as Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, and Mendeley with the keywords “Clitoria ternatea AND diabetes AND blood glucose.” Inclusion criteria applied included experimental studies conducted on diabetes-induced mice samples, interventions with telang flower extract administration, and publications within the last 5 years (2021-2025). From a total of 1,858 articles identified, by applying the PRISMA-ScR method, 8 articles were obtained that met the inclusion criteria. The analysis showed that telang flower extract was effective in reducing blood glucose levels. This antidiabetic effect is thought to be due to the presence of flavonoids and other bioactive compounds in telang flowers that act as α-amylase enzyme inhibitors, antioxidants, and anti-inflammatories. These findings indicate the potential of Clitoria ternatea as a promising therapeutic alternative in the management of diabetes mellitus.

Abstract

Phenomenon/Issue: Entrepreneurial recognition is a pivotal but underexplored concept in entrepreneurship studies, particularly in understanding how individuals identify and act upon business opportunities. The current literature lacks conceptual clarity and systematic mapping of this domain. Purpose: This study aims to conduct a comprehensive bibliometric analysis to map the landscape of entrepreneurial recognition research and identify key themes, gaps, and directions for future inquiry. Novelty: Unlike prior studies that focus narrowly on opportunity recognition, this paper provides the first systematic bibliometric overview of “entrepreneurial recognition” using co-word analysis to uncover structural relationships between key concepts and trends. Research Methods: A total of 198 publications from 2011 to 2021 were retrieved using the Publish or Perish software from Google Scholar. After applying selection criteria, 97 articles were analyzed using VOSviewer to conduct co-word mapping, and performance and science mapping approaches as suggested by Zupic & Čater (2015). Results: The findings reveal that scholarly discussions around entrepreneurial recognition remain in early development, with core themes including opportunity identification, entrepreneurial alertness, and the role of human and social capital. The visualization outputs identify five research clusters and highlight a need for further exploration into conceptual clarity, theoretical diversity, and the role of entrepreneurial alertness. Research Contributions: This study contributes to the entrepreneurship literature by providing a visual and thematic synthesis of entrepreneurial recognition research. It offers a foundation for scholars to refine theoretical frameworks, broaden methodological approaches, and investigate under-researched constructs such as entrepreneurial alertness and its impact on opportunity identification

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a chronic metabolic disorder characterized by hyperglycemia due to insulin deficiency or insulin resistance. The global prevalence of diabetes mellitus continues to increase, posing a significant health and economic burden to society. Conventional pharmacological treatments that are currently available often cause unwanted side effects, so alternative therapies that are safer and more effective are needed. This study aims to collect and analyze data related to the effectiveness of flower extract as an antidiabetic agent in reducing blood glucose levels and preventing complications associated with diabetes. The potential of Clitoria ternatea as an antidiabetic agent was explored through a systematic literature review. Article searches were conducted using scientific databases such as Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, and Mendeley with the keywords "Clitoria ternatea AND diabetes AND blood glucose". The inclusion criteria applied included experimental studies conducted on diabetic samples, interventions with bay flower extract administration, and publications within the last 5 years (2021-2025). From a total of 1,858 articles identified, by applying the PRISMA-ScR method, eight articles were obtained that met the inclusion criteria. The results of the analysis showed that flower extract was effective in reducing blood glucose levels in both diabetes-induced experimental animals and diabetic patients. This antidiabetic effect is thought to be due to the flavonoids and other bioactive compounds in butterfly pea flower that act as α-amylase enzyme inhibitors, antioxidants, and anti-inflammatories. These findings indicate the potential of Clitoria ternatea as a promising therapeutic alternative in the management of diabetes mellitus.

Abstract

Abstract

This study explores service excellence strategies in improving the quality of educational administrative services to support student satisfaction at Universitas Negeri Surabaya. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and document analysis involving administrative leaders, administrative staff, and students. The findings reveal that service quality improvement is implemented through several strategic dimensions, including service responsiveness, administrative standardization, staff professionalism, complaint management optimization, and digital transformation. These strategies contribute significantly to improving administrative efficiency, communication transparency, institutional trust, and students’ overall service experiences. The study further demonstrates that student satisfaction is influenced not only by procedural outcomes but also by interpersonal interactions such as empathy, responsiveness, and staff willingness to provide assistance. In addition, the findings indicate that challenges in service quality improvement include resistance to organizational change, limited human resources, inconsistent inter-unit coordination, and infrastructure constraints. The study reinforces the relevance of service excellence and SERVQUAL perspectives in higher education administration while highlighting the importance of sustainable institutional commitment, digital governance, and student-centered service culture. This research provides practical insights for higher education institutions in developing effective administrative service improvement strategies to strengthen educational quality and institutional competitiveness.
