Abstract

Kajian aljabar max-plus tersimetri hadir dari kondisi bahwa setiap elemen pada ℝ𝑚𝑎𝑥 tidak memiliki invers terhadap operasi max. Aljabar max-plus tersimetri dibentuk dari pasangan berurutan elemen-elemen di ℝ𝑚𝑎𝑥. Pembentukan aljabar max-plus tersimetri ini memunculkan kelas positif, kelas negatif, kelas nol, dan kelas himpunan baru, yakni kelas balance. Penelitian ini berfokus pada pencarian karakteristik solusi dekomposisi QR dalam aljabar max-plus tersimetri dengan beberapa entri matriks awal yang akan didekomposisi merupakan anggota kelas balance. Dekomposisi QR merupakan salah satu dekomposisi matriks, yaitu dekomposisi suatu matriks persegi panjang 𝐴 berukuran m × n menjadi perkalian matriks ortogonal 𝑄 berukuran m × m dengan matriks segitiga atas 𝑅 berukuran m × n. Secara umum, dekomposisi ini dapat digunakan dalam aljabar konvensional. Penelitian ini menjelaskan dekomposisi QR jika dipunyai matriks dengan entri-entri elemen balance di aljabar max-plus tersimetri.

Abstract

Kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis selama ini masih ditinjau dari kemampuan berfikir secara keseluruhan. Setiap orang memiliki kemampuan berfikir ditinjau dari multiple intelligences. Artikel ini akan menunjukan pemetaan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika berdasarkan multiple intelligences sesuai teori Gardner. Metode kualitatif deskriptif digunakan guna mengambil subjek para siswa kelas X MIPA-1 SMA Negeri 1 Kendal. Data diperoleh menggunakan teknik tes dan wawancara. Kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa Tipe Multiple Intelligences logis matematis lebih unggul dibanding Tipe Multiple Intelligences lain. Hal ini disebabkan karena karakteristik Tipe Multiple Intelligences logis matematis mendukung kemampuannya dalam menyelesaikan masalah yang membutuhkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis. Tipe Multiple Intelligences visual-spasial, kecerdasan kinestetik dan kecerdasan interpersonal memiliki kemampuan pemahaman konsep yang rendah karena karakteristik yang dimiliki ketiga Tipe Multiple Intelligences ini tidak mendukung kemampuannya dalam memecahkan masalah yang membutuhkan pemahaman konsep matematis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran reflektif kuliah micro teaching Berbasis Unity of Science (UoS) yang valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk menciptakan calon guru matematika profesional. Penelitian pengembangan dengan modivikasi model Plomp menghasilkan perangkat perkuliahan Micro Teaching  reflektif berbasis UoS baik RPS, SAP, bahan ajar dan instrumen penilaian. Uji kevalidan RPS sebesar 3,70, SAP sebesar 3,78, Bahan Ajar 4,00, Instrumen penilaian sebesar 3,83 dengan kriteria baik. Hasil uji kepraktisan RPS sebesar 4,75, SAP sebesar 4,53, Bahan Ajar sebesar 4,78, Instrumen penilaian sebesar 4,61 dengan kriteria sangat baik. Hasil uji keefektifan diperoleh =4,384 dan  =1,671 maka   dengan taraf signifikansi 5% dan dk= 55 dikatakan efektif. Berdasarkan analisis disimpulkan perangkat pembelajaran reflektif kuliah Micro Teaching berbasis UoS valid, praktis, dan efektif menciptakan calon guru matematika profesional.This research aims to produce reflective instuments for micro teaching lecture based on Unity of Science (UoS) that is valid, practical, and effective to get professional mathematics teacher candidates. This development research used a modification of Plomp Model to produce reflective equipments based on UoS that is RPS, SAP, teaching materials and assessment instruments. The results of validty test were RPS 3.71, SAP 3.78, teaching materials 4.00 and assessment instruments 3.83 in good criteria. The results of practically test were RPS 4.75, SAP 4.53, teaching materials 4.78 and assessment instruments 4.61 in very good criteria. The effectivenes is obtained tcount = 4.384 and ttable= 1.671 then tcount > ttable with level significance of 5% and dk = 55, that is to be effective. Based on data, it can be concluded that reflective equipments based on UoS is valid, practical, and effective in producing professional mathematics teacher candidates.

Abstract

Mathematical reasoning is very important for students to master. This research aims to reveal students' mathematical reasoning processes in solving statistical problems. This research used a descriptive qualitative method involving 25 students from class VII-D of SMP Negeri 16 Semarang. The research instrument consists of mathematical problems related to statistics. Data collection was carried out through written tests and interviews. Data were analyzed by data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results showed that 16% of students had high mathematical reasoning abilities, 72% of students had moderate mathematical reasoning abilities, and 12% of students had low mathematical reasoning abilities. Based on the results of interviews, the mathematical reasoning process of lower group students is hampered by the process of presenting mathematical statements verbally, drawings, sketches or diagrams; make allegations; checking the validity of an argument; and students' lack of understanding of mathematical concepts. The implications of the findings in this research can be used as a reference for developing appropriate learning strategies to overcome students' difficulties in the mathematical reasoning process. Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of integrating the 5E learning model with the Mentimeter application in enhancing students’ critical and creative thinking skills in Islamic Religious Education courses at three universities in Semarang. Using a quantitative pre-experimental design with a multi-group pretest–posttest structure, the study involved 133 first-semester students from three universities selected through purposive sampling with a minimum attendance criterion of 80%. The data were drawn from pretest and posttest scores obtained through essay-type test instruments, with data collection carried out at the beginning and the end of the semester. Data were analyzed using paired statistical tests (Paired Sample t-Test and Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test), N-Gain calculations, and the Kruskal–Wallis test to examine the consistency of improvement across institutions. The findings indicate significant increases in critical thinking skills (N-Gain = 0.48) and creative thinking skills (N-Gain = 0.40) with a high level of significance (p < 0.01). These improvements were consistent across universities with different institutional characteristics (p > 0.05), indicating that the 5E syntax based on Mentimeter is robust and adaptive to various learning contexts. The results suggest that technology-based contextual learning can bridge the gap between traditional religious instruction and the cognitive demands of the Society 5.0 era. This study offers a new pedagogical framework for religious education by combining structured inquiry stages with interactive digital technology, and recommends further research employing longitudinal or experimental designs that consider variables such as digital literacy, learning styles, and socio-economic background.
