Abstract

This article discusses the effectiveness of Al-Islam and Muhammadiyah courses in constructing the morality of students at the University of Muhammadiyah Pekajangan Pekalongan. This article was written using a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques took the form of observation, documentation and interviews. Through the use of these methods, this article found that Al-Islam and Muhammadiyah courses were effective in constructing good morality of the students, both in terms of their ‘noble characters’ (akhlakul karimah) towards Allah, themselves, their family, other people and environment. More specifically, the construction of noble characters towards Allah includes absolute monotheism, praying only to Allah, abstain from believing in superstition, abstain from maintaining amulets, abstain from visiting shamans, being grateful for Allah's blessings, being patient with worldly tests from Allah, worshiping Allah well and properly. The construction of noble characters towards students themselves includes being honest, being a hard worker, trustworthy, disciplined, simple, polite, confident and willing to introspect. The construction of noble characters towards the family includes being devoted to their parents, establishing friendship with the family members maintaining good communication with the family, caring for family members, easing their parents’ burden. The construction of noble characters towards others includes caring for ‘the weak and the helpless’ (mustadzafin), caring to help others, establishing mutual cooperation, and tolerance. At the same time, the construction of noble characters towards the environment includes keeping it clean, using water wisely, reducing plastic waste, rejecting mining which potentially damages the environment, preserving the environment by planting trees and taking care of animals

Abstract

AbstrakDampak pandemi covid-19 telah menimbulkan banyak perubahan pada berbagai sistem kehidupan, termasuk sistem pendidikan di Indonesia, khususnya Universitas Muhammadiyah Pekajangan Pekalongan (UMPP). Sebelum terjadinya panademi Covid-19 sistem perkuliahan di UMPP dilakukan secara tatap muka (luring/ofline). Namun demikian setelah terjadi wabah Covid-19, berdasar surat edaran Rektor tanggal 16 Maret 2020, sistem perkuliahan diberlakukan secara daring (online).Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian diskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan gambaran pembelajaran dzikir dan do’a sesudah shalat dan hasil pembelajaran dzikir dan do’a melalui perkuliahan daring (online). Hasil penelitian mendiskripsikan bahwa pelaksanaan perkuliahan secara daring dengan menggunakan aplikasi WA Group dan Zoom Cloud Meeting dimulai dengan mempersiapkan materi baik berupa ppt maupun video pembelajaran, serta menyiapkan instrumen penilaian. Pelaksanakan perkulihaan menggunakan via WA Group dan Zoom Claud Meeting. Di akhir pembelajaran mahasiswa mengirimkan Video dzikir dan do’a sesudah shalat melalui WA Graup. Hasil evaluasi pembelajaran dzikir dan do’a menunjukkan rata-rata perolehan nilai pada kleas A dan Kelas B yang masing-masing kelas berjumlah 51. menunjukkan kategori nilai B. Adapun rinciannya,  kelas A mencapai 25 mahasiswa atau 49%, sedangkan pada kelas B terdapat 30 mahasiswa atau mencapai 58%.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to teach students about understanding and the importance of choosing halālan tayyiban snack foods to increase child immunity. This dedication activity was held at this service activity held at Muhammadiyah Elementary School 01 Wuled, Tirto, Pekalongan. Before the socialization of respondents filled the pretest first, and after the socialization, served the post-test when data was done by testing the t-test paired sample. Students' knowledge about the importance of choosing food snacks for the thesis increases immunity through this program.
