Abstract

Kajian kegempaan suatu wilayah terutama di daerah rawan gempa bumi seperti Jawa Timur sangat diperlukan dalam rangka mengurangi dampak yang ditimbulkan akibat bencana gempa bumi. Dalam konteks ini, dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat seismisitas di wilayah Jawa Timur antara tahun 1999-2013 yaitu dengan menganalisis hubungan antara frekuensi kejadian gempa bumi (N) dan magnitudo gempa bumi (M). Rumus umum yang digunakan, yaitu log N = a ? bM. Gradien persamaan ini atau nilai b merupakan parameter tektonik yang menggambarkan sifat batuan pada daerah yang diteliti sedangkan nilai a menggambarkan aktivitas tektonik wilayah yang diamati. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan data sekunder parameter gempa bumi dari bank data seismologi IRIS dengan magnitudo 4,0-10,0 SR pada kedalaman 0-200 km yang berlokasi antara 110o-115o BT dan 5o-10o LS. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dengan metode maximum likelihood, didapatkan besarnya parameter seismisitas untuk wilayah 1 diperoleh nilai a sebesar 11,7 dan nilai b sebesar 1,86. Sementara untuk wilayah 2 diperoleh nilai a sebesar 9,69 dan nilai b sebesar 1,49. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa wilayah 1 memiliki tingkat seismitas yang lebih besar dibandingkan wilayah 2. Sedangkan nilai b pada kedua wilayah relatif sama. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa batuan pada wilayah Jawa Timur memiliki heterogenitas yang rendah.

Abstract

Jawa Timur memiliki kondisi wilayah yang beragam. Kondisi wilayah tersebut tentunya memiliki potensi bencana yang berdampak signifikan terhadap sektor pertanian. Banjir merupakan salah satu faktor yang merusak lahan pertanian. Manajemen risiko banjir memainkan peran penting dalam membimbing pemerintah dalam membuat keputusan yang tepat waktu dan tepat untuk penyelamatan dan bantuan banjir. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji penilaian risiko banjir pada sektor pertanian di Jawa Timur. Metode Multi Attribute Utility Theory  digunakan untuk memecahkan masalah yang berkaitan dengan penataan ruang dan penanggulangan bencana karena bersifat sistematis dan cocok untuk memecahkan masalah yang kompleks seperti sektor pertanian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa wilayah lahan pertanian di Jawa Timur dengan kategori sangat rawan banjir meliputi Kabupaten Bojonegoro, Lamongan, Tuban, dan Sidoarjo. Selanjutnya hasil penelitian ini divisualisasikan dengan pemetaan risiko banjir menggunakan SIG. Hal ini dapat digunakan untuk upaya penanggulangan bencana banjir. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat membantu pengambilan kebijakan di Dinas Pertanian dan Ketahanan Pangan dalam memantau lahan pertanian yang rawan banjir guna meminimalisir terjadinya bencana banjir di sektor pertanian.

Abstract

ABSTRACT-Merapi Mount (2978 msl) is the higher active volcanoes in Indonesia, which is located between Sleman district, DI. Yogyakarta, and Magelang district, Boyolali district, Klaten district, Central Java. The eruption center of Merapi Mount is controlled by weak or unstable zone. This weak or unstable zone can be known from several lithologies of rock, which lies below Merapi Mount's surfaces through the density differences. One of the methods for determining the subsurface density in geophysics science is the gravity method. The gravity method is based on the difference in mass below the surface. This research aims to determine the distribution pattern lithology of Merapi Mount based on the density differences. Data processing in this research covers the entire process begins with a reading tool in field to obtain Bouguer anomaly's values at every point. To know the appearance below the Merapi Mount surface, creating some structure lithology modeling using software surfer 10 and Grav2DC. The result obtained in this research indicated that lithology below the surface of Merapi Mount. The variant of rocks density is between 2,256- 3,298  g.cm-3. Most of them are sedimentary rock such as sandstone, granite, and basalt. Where the whole rocks an abundance of cold lava of Merapi Mount.

Abstract

Java Island one of the best locations for geophysics research, as it’s located near the edge of the junction of continental Eurasia Plate and the Indo-Australia Plate with the movement of the plates 6 cm/year. Its needed the accurate imaging of subsurface structure to understanding complex tectonic setting. The first arrival time from local earthquake of Java (6,360-9,150 S and 105,890-115,540 E) with magnitude greater than 4,5 Mw occurred from 2011 until 2013 recorded by local network seismograph has been inverted for three dimensional variation of the depth to the P wave velocity in the Java island. At the same time, earthquake hypocenter location has been corrected simultaneous. This research apply a new tomographic inversion scheme FMTOMO that has been developed by Rawlinson (2004).  The results of inversion show that there are three layer in 100 km from the surface at continental plate side (Eurasia). The continental upper crust has P wave velocity variation about 4-5,5 km/s in the depth until 30 km from the surface. There are low velocity anomaly inclined towards the slab which probably have associated with shallow earthquake along the slab

Abstrak Kajian kegempaan suatu wilayah terutama di daerah rawan gempa seperti Sumatera Barat sangat diperlukan dalam rangka mengurangi dampak yang ditimbulkan akibat bencana gempa bumi. Dalam konteks ini, dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat seismisitas dan periode ulang gempa bumi yaitu dengan menganalisis hubungan antara frekuensi kejadian gempa bumi (N) dan magnitudo gempa bumi (M). Rumus umum yang digunakan yaitu log N = a – bM. Gradien persamaan ini atau nilai b merupakan parameter tektonik yang menggambarkan sifat batuan pada daerah yang diteliti sedangkan nilai a menggambarkan aktivitas tektonik wilayah yang diamati. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan data sekunder parameter gempa bumi dari bank data seismologi IRIS periode 1961-2010 dengan magnitudo 4,0-10,0 SR pada kedalaman 0-220 km yang berlokasi antara 1,0⁰ LU-3,0⁰LS dan 98,0⁰-102,0⁰BT. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dengan menggunakan metode kuadrat terkecil diperoleh nilai a sebesar 6,21 dan b sebesar 0,66, serta indeks seismisitas untuk magnitudo 5-9 SR yaitu antara 10,14-0,02. Harga indeks seismisitas ini digunakan untuk analisis periode ulang gempa bumi. Periode ulang gempa bumi untuk rentang magnitudo 5-9 SR adalah berkisar antara 0,09-45,30 tahun. Secara umum, dapat disimpulkan bahwa wilayah Sumatera Barat memiliki tingkat seismisitas tinggi dan rawan bencana gempa bumi yang dibuktikan dengan periode ulang gempa bumi yang singkat yaitu kurang dari 50 tahun dan sering terjadi gempa-gempa kecil baik di daratan maupun lautan.   Kata kunci : tingkat seismisitas, periode ulang gempa bumi, sumatera barat Abstract Study seismicity pattern, especially in earthquake prone areas such as West Sumatra is needed in order to reduce the impact caused by the earthquake. In this context, the research aims to analyze the level of seismicity and the return period of earthquakes by analyzing the relationship between the frequency of occurrence of earthquakes (N) and the earthquake magnitude (M). The general formula is log N = a - bM, gradient equation or b value is a parameter that describes the nature of tectonic rocks in the area studied, while a value that describes the tectonic activity of observed regions. The data used in this study is a secondary data parameter of earthquake from seismology data bank IRIS from 1961 to 2010 with a magnitude of 4,0 ≥ 10,0 RS at a depth between 0-220 km located within latitude coordinates between 1,0° N-3,0° S and longitude coordinates between 98,0°-102.0° E. Based on the results of the analysis using the least squares method obtained a value is about 6,15 and b value is about 0,65. Index of seismicity for magnitudes 5-9 RS is between 9,677 to 0,022. Further seismicity index is used for the calculation of return period of earthquake. Return period of earthquakes for magnitude 5-9 RS is between 0,10 to 44,45 years. Generally, it can also be concluded that the region of West Sumatra has a high seismicity rate as evidenced by the return period of a short earthquakes and frequent minor earthquakes both land and sea, so that in the region of West Sumatra classified areas prone to earthquakes.   Keywords: level of  seismicity, return period of earthquake, west sumatera

Abstract

This research aimed to identify the earthquake hazard, developing a peak ground acceleration (PGA) and earthquake intensity map to reduce earthquake disaster risk in Malang, East Java, Indonesia. This map is based on historical data of earthquake occurrence in 2011-2021 using the International Seismological Centre (ISC) earthquake catalog. Peak ground acceleration was analyzed using Donovan and McGuire equation, and the earthquake intensity was analyzed using the Wald equation. The result of this study represented peak ground acceleration value in Malang Regency, which was varied from 23.687 – 33.069 gal (Donovan attenuation equation) and 22.245 – 31.705 gal (McGuire attenuation equation). While based on earthquake depth, Malang Regency had a damage capacity of IV-V MMI on an intensity scale. This intensity was equivalent to the formation of cracks in the ground. Almost all residents also feel the vibrations. The most severe damage was due to the earthquake on April 10, 2021, at 14:00:16 WIB spoiled Dampit and Bantur district's public facilities. This study provides an overview of the riskiest area affected by the disasters that can be used for disaster mitigation in Malang regency.

Abstract

Information technology is well developed today. This is shown by several applications that support online activities, social activities, commerce, services, and learning. In this pandemic situation (covid-19), several institutions provided policies to carry out online learning to prevent and minimize the spread of the Covid-19 virus. In this case, the institution committees ask the teachers and lecturers to provide online learning to students, especially in learning English. The purpose of this study was to determine the teachers' perceptions in online language learning. Researchers used a questionnaire instrument to conduct surveys and interviews to obtain qualitative data. This is aimed to observe the teachers’ perception towards online language teaching practices and changes in teaching to online teaching. The things encountered during learning, as well as obstacles faced by the English teacher. In online learning, teachers must be able to involve students so that the situation runs like face-to-face learning. The final results of this study will be useful for online language teachers, institutions, and all aspects involved in education.

Abstract

This study aimed to prepare the readiness of students to use E-learning media in the MBKM (Freedom to Learn – Independent Campus) program at the Faculty of Science, Technology and Education. This was an evaluation research with a quantitative research approach and descriptive method. The data collection technique used lecturer and student questionnaires based on the CIPP evaluation model (context, input, process, product). The samples were 98 students. The results indicated that in terms of readiness and understanding of E-learning-based learning management, the lecturers were included in the high category with a percentage of 87.78%. The score obtained by students based on the understanding of E-learning-based learning was included in the high category with a percentage of 82.16%. The results of the questionnaire showed that the E-learning-based learning activities were carried out well (structured, according to schedule and coordinated).

Abstract

The Space and temporal distribution of the seismicity parameters consisting of magnitude of completeness (Mc), a-value, and b-value were estimated for the East Java, Indonesia using the International Seismological Center (ISC) earthquake catalogue. The main purposes of this research were to determine the parameters of the seismicity and its spatial temporal distribution so that early detection and warning systems in the East Java run optimally. All estimated parameters were analyzed based on an earthquake catalogue during 1980-2020 by applying The Maximum Curvature (MaxC) method. The MaxC method enumerate the highest value of the first subordinate of the cumulative Frequency Magnitude Distribution (FMD) graph. The value of the magnitude of completeness, which was estimated on this study as result Mc 3,4 – 4,8; a-value 5,560 - 8,244; and b-value (0,73 – 0,82 ± 0.13). The lower b-value (0,73 ± 0.13) was obtained for the southern part of the East Java. This area is indicated to have high seismic moment release and rock stress level accumulation. Understanding and clarifying the relation between seismicity parameters and structure of tectonic framework can guidance us to estimate seismic risk for earthquake hazard mitigation in the East Java.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun sistem pendukung keputusan untuk membantu menentukan identifikasi daerah kekeringan di Kabupaten Lamomgan. Penelitian ini menggunakan beberapa kriteria antara lain intensitas curah hujan, kemiringan lereng, jenis tanah, dan jarak ke sungai. Dalam penelitian ini data diperoleh dari seluruh kecamatan yang ada di Kabupaten Lamongan yang berjumlah 27 kecamatan. Tahapan dalam pengembangan sistem ini dimulai dengan mengumpulkan data terkait yang meliputi intensitas curah hujan, kemiringan lereng, jenis tanah, dan jarak ke sungai di setiap kecamatan. Proses selanjutnya adalah merancang sistem pendukung keputusan dengan menerapkan Metode Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process (FAHP). Proses penghitungan daerah rawan kekeringan menggunakan metode FAHP. Langkah selanjutnya adalah membangun sistem berbasis web dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP. Pengujian validasi dilakukan dengan membandingkan hasil perhitungan FAHP manual dengan hasil sistem. Hasil uji coba dengan 10 sampel data menggunakan metode FAHP diperoleh akurasi sebesar 90% dan kepuasan responden terhadap sistem rata-rata 97,2%.
