Abstract

This study develops instructional materials in the form of textbooks and is packaged in the form of e-Learning. The material that was raised was Fundamental Physics devoted to Department of Biology FMIPA UNM. This is a Research and Development research with 3D model (define, design and development). The results showed that the validation of teaching materials and materials in teaching materials included in the category is “very good”. The practitioners 'assessment showed that the basic physics teaching materials based on e-learning were included in the "very good" category while the students' perceptions of the Teaching Materials were included in the "good" category. Thus e-learning materials based on fundamental physics materials for biology department worthy of use in the process of learning in fundamental physics courses in biology department.

Abstract

Revolusi teknologi telah membawa Artificial Intelligence (AI) khususnya ChatGPT menjadi alat potensial dalam pendidikan termasuk Fisika meski penggunaannya masih baru. ChatGPT dapat membantu menjelaskan konsep sulit, namun akurasi informasinya masih dipertanyakan. Kajian literatur diperlukan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana ChatGPT telah berkontribusi dalam pengajaran dan pembelajaran Fisika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui distribusi jurnal, asal negara penulis, dan tema penelitian terkait ChatGPT dalam pengajaran dan pembelajaran Fisika. Penelitian ini menggunakan PRISMA framework yang memiliki tahapan 1) identifikasi, 2) penyaringan dengan memperhatikan kriteria inklusi dan ekslusi, dan 3) analisis data untuk menentukan tema penelitian. Distribusi jurnal menunjukkan dominasi Physical Review Physics Education Research (41,67%), dengan penulis mayoritas berasal dari Eropa (66,67%). ChatGPT memiliki banyak manfaat dalam pengajaran dan pembelajaran fisika antara lain dalam persiapan pengajaran, proses pembelajaran, asesmen pembelajaran, dan dalam praktikum. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan kemampuan ChatGPT dalam menyelesaikan berbagai soal fisika secara teoritis dan konseptual. Penelitian ini menyajikan informasi penting bagi penelitian pendidikan fisika dan pelaksanaan pengajaran fisika.

Abstract

The results of observations and interviews conducted at MTs DDI Lapeo showed that learning at the school was still dominated by one-way lecture methods and was less interactive. The strategies commonly used by teachers did not support the needs of practical-based science, so that students still had few opportunities to interact with learning objects. This community service aims to increase students' interest in science at MTs DDI Lapeo with the help of an interactive simulation called Tinkercad. The implementation method consists of three main stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The preparation stage involves initial observation, document collection, FGD, and team briefing. In the implementation stage, participants were trained to foster interest in science with interactive simulations by raising their learning materials in class. The results of the questionnaire showed that the paper-making workshop received a very positive response, especially from aspects related to the material, and student respondents agreed that this activity actively involved them and greatly increased their interest. The training was considered interactive, not boring, and able to create interesting conditions for participants. No less importantly, this activity gave them satisfaction while participating in the activity.

Abstract

One of the most important skills to be mastered by students in the rapid development of 21st century technology is the ability to solve problems. One of the innovations in improving students' problem-solving abilities is the implementation of the LAPS-Heuristic Based on CRT model. This study aims to describe the effect of the CRT-Based LAPS Heuristic learning model on students' physics problem-solving abilities. This type of research is a quasi-experimental study with a "pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group design" research design. The data collection instrument used in this study was a test of students' physics problem-solving abilities. Descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis were used in analyzing the research data. Independent sample t-test analysis was set to test the inferential statistical analysis in the study. The results of this study concluded that there was an effect on students' problem-solving abilities who applied the CRT-Based LAPS Heuristic learning model. The average physics problem-solving ability of students with the CRT-Based LAPS Heuristic learning model was 77.69, higher than that of the direct LAPS Heuristic model of 74.65. The results of this study conclude that the CRT-LAPS Heuristic is very suitable for application learning in high school to improve students' physics problem-solving abilities.
