Abstract

Keterampilan abad 21 melalui pendidikan holistik menjadi suatu hal penting yang tidak dapat diabaikan, terutama seiring dengan perkembangan era digital yang mengubah paradigma pembelajaran di mana kebutuhan akan keterampilan seperti literasi digital, pemecahan masalah, kreativitas, dan kolaborasi semakin mendesak serta tidak hanya mengandalkan pengetahuan tetapi keterampilan ikut berperan dalam pembelajaran abad 21. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan, menganalisis kelayakan, dan keterbacaan dari produk game edukasi berbasis aplikasi android untuk melatih literasi digital dan keterampilan argumentasi ilmiah siswa kelas X SMA pada materi virus dan peranannya. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan model pengembangan 4-D yang mencakup tahapan yaitu Define (Pendefinisian), Design (Perancangan), dan dibatasi pada Develop (Pengembangan). Hasil dari produk yang dikembangkan berupa game edukasi berbasis aplikasi android. Berdasarkan hasil uji validasi, diperoleh nilai kelayakan sebesar 77,03% dari ahli media, 89,5% dari ahli materi, 82,5% dari ahli literasi digital, 86,66% dari ahli argumentasi ilmiah, dan 87,93% dari respon guru Biologi. Uji keterbacaan dari respon siswa dengan uji skala kecil sebesar 83,46% dari hasil  uji skala kecil. Berdasarkan perolehan hasil uji dapat disimpulkan bahwa, media game edukasi berbasis aplikasi android untuk melatih literasi digital dan keterampilan argumentasi ilmiah siswa kelas X SMA pada materi virus dan peranannya dikategorikan sangat layak dan valid untuk digunakan.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the taxonomic affinity of 7 members of Rutaceae based on morphological characters. There are 7 species observed namely Aurantifolia swingle, Citrus hystrix, and Citrus maxima, Citrus limon, Muurraya paniculate, Limonia acidissima, and Citrus paradis. We used 13 morphological characters including leaf surface, leaf tip, leaf base, leaf margin, flower color, crown shape, number of petals, rind, fruit shape, flesh of fruit’s color, rind’s color, fruit apex’s shape, and stem surface. Analysis using NTSYS showed that Aurontifolia swingle and Citrus paradisi share the most widely characters in leaf surface, leaf tip, leaf base, leaf margin, flower color, number of petals, fruit shape, rind’s color, and stem surface with a similarity coefficient is 0.69. This finding gives an insight that morphology still could be used in grouping species based on their similarity. We recommended to add more species in Rutaceae as well as increase the number of morphological characters to get a comprehensive data.

Abstract

Rice is one of the staple foods which is the main source nutrition such as carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals, protein, fat and fiber. The various rice cultivars that have been developed have different nutritional variations so that they provide choices according to the wishes of the community. This study aims to compare the profile of the compound content of Baroma rice in different cooking methods. Baroma rice was chosen in the study because the test for the content of compounds had never been carried out considering that the rice cultivar is a new type. The nutrients such as total protein, total fat, total sugar, starch, and calories were measured in the cooking method using stove and magic com with a completely randomized design and repeated 3 times. The results were analyzed using unpaired t-test analysis for the effect of different cooking methods. The result showed that magic com cooking increases fat and protein content while stove cooking elevates calories, starch, and total sugar.

Abstract

Cancer is a condition where the body's cells continue to divide without control. Often, this cancer is detected when it has entered an advanced stage, making it difficult to treat. Rice is a staple food widely used by more than half of Indonesia's population. The position of rice, which is a staple food, can be used as a prospective treatment to overcome the increasing number of cancer cases, especially in cases of colon cancer. Rice is reported to have many beneficial chemical contents. In cytotoxicity testing using WiDr colon cancer cells, the IC50 of the ethanolic extract of baroma rice is 316.01µg/ml. Stovetop cooked baroma rice showed an IC50 value of 672 µg/ml, while magic com cooked rice showed an IC50 value of 1232 µg/ml. Raw and stove-cooked baroma rice extracts are not strong enough to trigger apoptosis in cancer cells and can arrest the cell cycle at the G1 stage. This research shows that baroma rice extract has cytotoxic properties against WiDr colon cancer cells and various other evidence regarding the advantages of baroma rice. It is hoped that this rice can become a food that can prevent colon cancer.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship among species in the Poaceae family based on their similarities in morphological characteristics. The method used was a taximetry method describing the taxonomic affinity based on morphological characteristics of plants, including leaves, stems, roots, flowers, and fruit. Morphological character data was compiled on Ms Excel, representing the character of each organ and morphological scoring data. Furthermore, the scoring results were analyzed with the NTSys-PC version 2.02i program, and the final results were presented as a dendrogram. The research results show five species of members of the Poaceae family, including Zea mays, Oryza sativa, Saccharum officinarum, Pennisetum purpureum and Cymbopogon citratus, showed that Zea mays and Cymbopogon citratus had the closest affinity with a coefficient of 0.47. In contrast, the most distant affinity was Pennisetum purpureum, with a coefficient of 0.25.ABSTRAK: Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisis kekerabatan antar spesies dalam satu famili Poaceae berdasarkan persamaan sifat dan ciri morfologinya. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode taksimetri untuk menjelaskan kekebrabatan fenetik berdasarkan karakter morfologi tumbuhan meliputi daun, batang, akar, bunga, dan buah. Data karakter morfologi disusun pada Matriks Ms. Excel yang mewakili karakter masing-masing organ, dan data skoring morfologis. Selanjutnya hasil skoring dianalisis dengan program NTSys-PC versi 2.02i dan hasil akhir disajikan dalam bentuk dendogram. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian lima spesies anggota famili Poaceae, antara lain Zea mays, Oryza sativa, Saccharum officinarum, Pennisetum purpureum dan Cymbopogon citratus menunjukkan bahwa hubungan kekerabatan fenetik Zea mays dan Cymbopogon citratus memiliki hubungan kekerabatan yang paling dekat dengan koefisien 0.47 sedangkan kekerabatan yang paling jauh adalah Pennisetum purpureum dengan koefisien 0.25.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to find out the relationship between environmental literation and self-efficacy based on students’ academic level of the 10th grade of SMA Negeri 1 Limbangan on the learning material of ecosystem. Correlational study became the core of the research. The research was conducted in March 2024. The type of the research is correlational with the sample of 192 students, sampled using the purposive sampling technique, proved by average score of daily test. Data collection technique using a non-test instrument in form of self-efficacy questionnaire as well as an environmental literacy essay test. Research instrument used is a self-efficacy questionnaire consists of 10 statements to measure environmental literacy covering 25 questions. Data analysis using product moment correlation. The result obtained correlation coefficient between self-efficacy with environmental literacy showed the value of 0.616, ranged between 0.60 and 0.799, enough to show the strong correlation between both variables. The result of the research showed that there is a strong relationship between academic level with environmental literacy with the correlation coefficient as high as 0.40 – 0.599. The analysis concluded that there is a positive relationship between self-efficacy and environmental literacy based on the academic level.
