Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk membekali mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Vokasional Tata Rias dengan pengetahuan mengenai ekonomi kreatif dan strategi pengembangan bisnis yang relevan bagi generasi Z. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dalam bentuk kemah dan workshop di Mifan Padang Panjang, dengan pendekatan edukatif dan interaktif. Mahasiswa diberikan materi seputar konsep ekonomi kreatif, peluang usaha, serta strategi membangun bisnis yang inovatif. Selain penyampaian materi, kegiatan juga dilengkapi dengan diskusi kelompok sebagai wadah berbagi pengalaman dan memperkuat pemahaman bersama. Melalui kegiatan ini, diharapkan mahasiswa menjadi lebih kreatif, inovatif, serta memiliki wawasan kewirausahaan yang lebih luas. Implikasi dari kegiatan ini adalah terbukanya cakrawala berpikir mahasiswa dalam mengembangkan potensi diri dan menciptakan peluang usaha di era digital.

Abstract

Artikel ini mendeskripsikan internalisasi nilai-nilai Pancasila melalui ekspresi seni di masyarakat Minangkabau. Fokusnya pada pendidikan nilai secara kontekstual melalui seni tradisional dan kontemporer di Sumatera Barat. Penelitian kualitatif ini mengandalkan observasi, wawancara dengan seniman dan tokoh adat, studi dokumentasi karya seni, serta FGD bersama komunitas seni di Padang Pariaman, Bukittinggi, dan Agam. Analisis data mengikuti model Miles dan Huberman yang terdiri dari reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan, dengan validitas diuji melalui triangulasi. Hasil menunjukkan nilai ketuhanan, kemanusiaan, persatuan, musyawarah, dan keadilan sosial terwujud dalam simbol, narasi, aksi kolektif, dan praktik sosial dalam seni. Seni terbukti efektif sebagai media pendidikan nilai karena menyentuh aspek afektif, kultural, dan partisipatif. Dengan demikian, seni berkontribusi penting dalam memperkuat identitas kebangsaan dan membangun karakter warga negara yang kontekstual serta berakar pada budaya lokal.

Abstract

Cosmetology beauty learning faces various complex problems including a lack of attention to improving the quality of human resources in the cosmetology field and a curriculum that is not yet fully relevant to industry needs. This problem will have an impact on reducing the quality of learning, motivation and student interest will be low. This research aims to improve the quality of beauty and cosmetology learning through campus teaching programs at SMK Negeri 2 Bukittinggi. This campus teaching program aims to empower students to help with the teaching process. This research applies qualitative methods with data collection techniques in the form of observations, interviews and literature studies regarding campus teaching programs on learning quality. The research results show that implementing campus teaching programs with innovative and interactive learning strategies and methods can improve the quality of beauty and cosmetology learning based on aspects of learning planning, learning processes, teacher competence, facilities and equipment, assessment and evaluation, and learning outcomes. Students also participate actively in learning, are more enthusiastic, and their motivation to learn increases. Students' interest in learning activities is because students are directly involved in the learning process, especially in make-up practice activities. The campus teaching program has had an impact on improving the quality of beauty and cosmetology learning at SMK Negeri 2 Bukittinggi.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between classroom management skills, school climate and work ethic partially and together with the informatics learning outcomes of class X students at SMKN 1 Painan. The research method used is quantitative correlational. The population in the study were all class X students at SMKN 1 Painan totaling 402 people. The research sample was 80 people drawn by proportional random sampling. The test results at a significance level of α 0.05 (95% confidence level) obtained a rx1y value of 0.969 with rtable 0.220 because rcount> rtable then the first hypothesis is accepted. Then the rx2y value is 0.969 with rtable 0.220, because rcount> rtable then the second hypothesis is accepted. Then the rx3y value is 0.970 with rtable 0.220, because rcount> rtable then the third hypothesis is accepted. Furthermore, the value of rx1x2x3y is 0.976 with rtable 0.220, because rcount> rtable then the fourth hypothesis is accepted. And supported by the value of Fcount = 518.764 and Ftable = 1.454 so that Fcount> Ftable (518.764> 1.454) is obtained. The implications of the research results are improving classroom management skills, improving school climate and improving teacher work ethic.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the SOSAKA (Socialization of Communication) program in optimizing the use of the Edlink e-learning platform in the Vocational Makeup Education Study Program, Indonesian Institute of the Arts (ISI) Padang Panjang. The background of this study is based on the low level of utilization of Edlink features optimally by students, especially in the context of online learning which is increasingly important after the pandemic. This study uses a descriptive quantitative method with a data analysis technique of respondent achievement level (TCR). The research sample consisted of 95 students from semester 1 to semester 6 who were selected by total sampling. Data was collected through a questionnaire covering five main indicators. The results showed that the average level of respondent achievement reached 74.6%, which is categorized as quite good. The highest indicator is the effectiveness of the SOSAKA program (83%), while the lowest indicator is interactive communication between lecturers and students (68%). These findings indicate that the SOSAKA program is effective in increasing students' awareness and skills in using Edlink, although there are still challenges in terms of interaction and utilization of advanced features. This study provides implications that interactive communication-based training such as SOSAKA needs to be continuously developed and integrated sustainably into academic activities. In addition, institutional support in the form of lecturer training, provision of facilities, and affirmative policies are also very necessary to encourage more optimal digital learning.
