Abstract

Agar suatu kematian bisa disebut dengan bunuh diri (suicide), maka harus disertai dengan adanya niat untuk bunuh diri (suicide intent), sehingga percobaan bunuh diri (suicide attempt) merupakan hal yang cukup berbeda namun memiliki hubungan yang kompleks dengan bunuh diri (berhasil). Salah satu ahli teori bunuh diri, David Emile Durkheim meyakini bahwa penyebab terbesar terjadinya bunuh diri adalah akibat pengaruh dari integrasi sosial. Durkheim telah mengklasifikasikan bunuh diri dalam beberapa jenis, yaitu egoistic, anomic, altruistic serta fatalistic. Perilaku bunuh diri merupakan sebuah realitas sosial yang menunjukkan kekhawatiran  dan cukup memprihatinkan. Melalui penelitian ini, kami bertujuan mengeksplorasi fenomena “suicide” pada mahasiswa, salah satunya dengan melihat tingkat kecenderungan ide bunuh diri (suicide ideation) dalam pikiran mereka. Tipe penelitian yang kami gunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik accidental sampling, untuk pengumpulan data menggunakan skala psikologi berupa angket kuisioner. Skala yang kami gunakan mengadaptasi skala The Suicidal Behaviors Questionnarie-Revised (SBQ-R) untuk mengukur ide dan upaya untuk melakukan bunuh diri.In order for a death to be called suicide, it must be accompanied by suicide intent, so suicide attempts are quite different but have a complex relationship with suicide (succeed) . One suicide theorist, David Emile Durkheim believes that the biggest cause of suicide is due to the influence of social integration. Durkheim has classified suicide in several types, namely egoistic, anomic, altruistic and fatalistic. Suicidal behavior is a social reality that shows concern and is quite alarming. Through this research, we aim to explore the phenomenon of "suicide" in students, one of them by looking at the level of suicidal ideation in their minds. The type of research we use is descriptive research with a quantitative approach, sampling using accidental sampling techniques, for collecting data using a psychological scale in the form of questionnaire questionnaires. The scale we use adapts the scale of The Suicidal Behavior Questionnaire-Revised (SBQ-R) to measures ideas and attempts to commit suicide.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of counselling with a client-centred therapy approach to increase students' independence in learning. The subject in this study is one person, namely a 17-year-old male student who experiences independence in carrying out learning activities at school. This study used a single-case experimental design method with treatment in the form of counselling with a client-centred therapy approach to a class XI Vocational School student who experiences independence in learning. The research instrument was an independent observation checklist. Data were analyzed descriptively by describing the changes experienced by the subject before and after being given counselling. The results showed that the subjects were slow to show changes after attending nine counselling sessions. Subjects can express commitment to carrying out strategies to increase the subject's learning independence. But in practice, the subject is not persistent in implementing the agreed-upon strategies so that the subject shows less success in behaving independently after participating in a counselling program with a client centred therapy approach.

Abstract

Laporan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran mengenai kegiatan Ruang Refleksi Online (RRO), sebuah program pendampingan sebaya yang diselenggarakan oleh Halo Jiwa Indonesia yang menyasar remaja dan dewasa muda, khususnya di masa pandemi Coronavirus Disease-19 (COVID-19). Melalui program ini, prinsip konseling sebaya daring dan Psychological First Aid (PFA) berupaya dipadukan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kecenderungan persoalan yang dialami partisipan tergolong masalah personal, khususnya manajemen diri dan kecemasan. Terkait dengan efek pendampingan, partisipan melaporkan perasaan positif, seperti kelegaan dan perasaan senang. Mayoritas partisipan juga memberikan penilaian memuaskan terhadap RRO, yang mana pelayanannya dinilai dapat membantu mereduksi stres yang dirasakan. Hasil dari laporan ini juga menyajikan sejumlah kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang, serta ancaman dari program RRO yang dapat menjadi pertimbangan untuk pengembangan program serupa yang menggunakan prinsip pendampingan sebaya, pertolongan pertama psikologis, dan pelayanan psikologis daring yang potensial di masa yang akan datang seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi.

Abstract

The concerns about the impact of social distancing on mental health have been widely discussed. This study aimed to know the predictive effect of coping humor and Internal Health Locus of Control (Internal HLoC) on social dysfunction and anxiety & depression during the implementation of the COVID-19 social distancing agenda. This study was also intended to assess the effect of humor content on coping humor. A quantitative approach was used as the method ofthe study with 243 online-recruited participants, and a PLS-SEM analysis was applied to find out the predictive effect in this study. The results and conclusions showed that anxiety & depression predict social dysfunction (β = 0.584, t-value = 11.93, f2 = 0.563). It was found that coping humor was able to directly increase the Internal HLoC (β = 0.187, t-value = 2.60, f2 = 0.036) and indirectly decrease social dysfunction (β = -0.144, t-value = 2.85) and anxiety & depression (β = -0.070, t-value = 2.42). Humor content unrelated to the issue of COVID-19 directly increase the coping-humor level (β = 0.266, t-value = 4.13,f2= 0.076), and indirectly increase Internal HLoC (β = 0.050, t-value = 2.07), and decrease anxiety & depression level (β = -0.046, t-value = 2.20). On theother hand, Internal HLoC directly decrease levels of social dysfunction (β = -0.233, t-value = 4.126, f2 = 0.089) and anxiety & depression (β = -0.373, t-value= 7.84, f2 = 0.161).
