Abstract

The development of production techniques is required to produce good products that have standards for the products produced, both in terms of profile shape, size precision, surface roughness, hardness, material flexibility, and others that comply with standards. The surface roughness of a product can affect its functions, such as its level of precision and ability to accept loads. This research aims to find out how much influence cutting speed and depth of cut have on surface roughness with variations in cutting speed parameters of 21 meters/minute and 26 meters/minute and for AISI 4140 steel cutting speed parameters of 12 meters/minute and 17 meters/minute and cutting depths of 0.1 mm and 0.3 mm on four types of steel with End Mill cutting blades made from High-Speed Steel with a total of 4 flute cutting blades. Next, surface roughness testing and analysis of variance were carried out to determine the influence of parameters on surface roughness. The results obtained were that the largest average surface roughness, namely Ra = 5.33 µm, occurred on AISI 4140 steel at a cutting speed of 12 m/min with a cutting depth of 0.3 mm. Meanwhile, the smallest average surface roughness, namely Ra = 0.91 µm, occurred on AISI 1045 steel at a cutting speed of 21 m/min with a cutting depth of 0.1 mm. Next, an analysis of the variance method was also carried out with the following results: cutting speed only affected S45C steel because the value of Fcount>Ftable (13.18107506 > 5.32). The depth of cut does not have a significant effect on surface roughness on all types of steel because of the comparison results Fcount<Ftable. The interaction of cutting speed and cutting depth does not affect surface roughness because the comparison shows that Fcount <Ftable for all types of steel.

Abstract

The low quality of education in Indonesia has something to do with the low quality of teacher. Meanwhile, facing the challenge of 4.0 era, teacher is supposed to prepare the student to have the competencies and master the information and technology. Thus, professional teacher is absolutely needed in order to increase the quality of education. To solve this problem, the government conduct the Teacher Professionalism Improvement Program (PPG). This study is aimed at investigating the pros and cons in applying the online PPG daljab for Female teachers in Aceh province. This study is conducted through the qualitative approach, interview, observation and documentation. The subjects of this study are consisting of four female teachers, three online facilitators. Whilst, the data analysis techniques were conducted through the Miles and Hubberman models. The result of this study shows that there are two supporting factors in the success of the implementation of online PPG for the female Acehnese teachers. First, the support is from the online group members and then the second is from the support from the family members in operating the Information and Technology (IT) related issues. Meanwhile, the cons factors are the disability of the teacher to operate the laptop, poor internet connection, lack of focuses due to the teaching tasks at school, and the teacher motivation in mastering the IT and applying it in the teaching learning process. Therefore, it can be concluded that the program evaluation and IT training for in- service PPG are absolutely required. It is essential to conduct an IT empowerment for the pre- training teacher in the basis of the network availability and age.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and explore the integration of peace education values in the teaching of Akidah Akhlak at Madrasah Aliyah (MA) in Pidie Regency. Peace education is expected to shape students’ character, not only making them religiously devout but also tolerant and sensitive to diversity. This research employs a qualitative approach with data collection methods including observation, interviews, and documentation. The collected data were analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing techniques. The findings of the study indicate that peace education values, such as tolerance, mutual respect, harmony, and ethics in sosial interaction, have been integrated into the planning of Akidah Akhlak lessons at MA Pidie, through both the syllabus and Lesson Plans (RPP). In the teaching process, teachers impart these values through methods involving group discussions and interactive activities. The assessment of students’ attitudes is carried out using rubrics that encompass aspects of honesty, responsibility, discipline, and cooperation, which reflect peace education values. This study concludes that the integration of peace education values in Akidah Akhlak lessons can contribute to shaping students’ better character and creating a harmonious learning environment. This research contributes to the development of a more responsive religious education curriculum and serves as a reference for educators and policymakers in designing teaching strategies based on peace values. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mengeksplorasi integrasi nilai-nilai pendidikan damai dalam pembelajaran Akidah Akhlak di Madrasah Aliyah  Pidie. Pendidikan damai diharapkan dapat membentuk karakter siswa yang tidak hanya taat beragama, tetapi juga toleran dan peka terhadap keberagaman. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan teknik reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai pendidikan damai, seperti toleransi, saling menghargai, kerukunan, dan etika bergaul, telah terintegrasi dalam perencanaan pembelajaran Akidah Akhlak di MA Pidie, baik melalui silabus maupun Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP). Dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran, guru mengajarkan nilai-nilai tersebut melalui metode yang melibatkan diskusi kelompok dan aktivitas interaktif. Penilaian sikap siswa dilakukan menggunakan rubrik yang mencakup aspek kejujuran, tanggung jawab, disiplin, dan kerja sama, yang mencerminkan nilai-nilai pendidikan damai. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa integrasi nilai-nilai pendidikan damai dalam pembelajaran Akidah Akhlak dapat membantu membentuk karakter siswa yang lebih baik dan menciptakan suasana pembelajaran yang harmonis. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan kurikulum pendidikan agama yang lebih responsif terhadap tantangan zaman, serta sebagai referensi bagi pendidik dan pembuat kebijakan dalam merancang strategi pembelajaran berbasis nilai-nilai damai.

Abstract

This research examines the dynamics and preservation of Islamic educational traditions in the dayah of Aceh in the context of modernization that brings various challenges of social, technological, and formal education system changes. With a qualitative approach, this study examines the adaptation of dayah to maintain local values and intellectual traditions without eliminating the cultural roots and Islamic identity of the Acehnese people. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation in several integrated dayah in Aceh. The results of the study show that the modernization of dayah takes place in the aspects of institutions, curriculum, learning methods, and improving the competence of scholars and students, so that dayah continues to function as an educational center as well as a cultural and intellectual preservation. This research emphasizes the importance of integrating local values with modern innovations so that dayah education is relevant to the times and can maintain Aceh's cultural identity. These findings provide policy and practice recommendations education that is able to bridge tradition and modernization in Aceh.

Abstract

Tujuan dari publikasi artikel ini adalah untuk membahas mengenai pelaksanaan program Sekolah ramah anak Pada MIN 27 Aceh Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Kualitatif adapun teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, Dan telaah dokumentasi. Hasil Penelitian pada Min 27 Aceh Selatan menunjukkan bahwa telah menjalankan 8 program SRA yaitu: Sekolah Adiwiyata, Kantin Sehat, Sekolah Inklusif, Sekolah Hijau, Sekolah Anti Kekerasan, Unit Kesehatan Sekolah Gerakan Literasi di sekolah, dan menjalankan perilaku hidup bersih sehat di sekolah dimana program yang dimulai dari perencanaan dilakukan dengan membuat indikator SRA yang terdapat di dalam 8 standar nasional pendidikan, membuat tim pelaksanaan sekolah ramah anak agar kegiatan belajar diluar kelas terlaksana dengan baik sebagai bentuk pembelajaran ramah anak. Selanjutnya pengawasan sekolah ramah anak dilakukan berkala oleh guru dan kepada sekolah, membuat tatanan program sekolah ramah anak serta guru juga berperan membina dan mendampingi program sekolah ramah anak ,dan dukungan penuh oleh orang tua serta pihak luar berperan sebagai member sosialisasi terkait sekolah ramah anak.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the type of natural growth regulator and the length of soaking on the growth of pepper plant cuttings. The experimental design used was a factorial randomized block design consisting of 2 factors. Factor I is the influence of giving several types of natural ZPT and factor II is the length of soaking. The results of the research concluded that the type of natural growth regulator had a very significant effect on the growth percentage of pepper cuttings and shoot height, but had no significant effect on the number of shoots, number of leaves, root length and root weight. The treatment of onion extract and coconut water provided the best growth of pepper cuttings. The length of soaking had a very significant effect on the growth percentage of pepper cuttings and shoot height, but had an insignificant effect on the number of shoots, number of leaves, root length and root weight. Soaking time of 20 minutes provides the best growth of pepper cuttings. The interaction between the type of natural growth regulator and the length of soaking had a very significant effect on growth percentage and shoot height, but had no significant effect on shoot height, number of shoots, number of leaves, root length and root weight. The best interaction on the percentage of growth of pepper cuttings was the Z0L3, Z1L1, Z1L2, Z1L3, Z2L1, Z2L2 treatment, while the shoot height and age were the Z2L3 combination.
