Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model Treffinger terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa yang dilihat dari empat hal yaitu: ketercapaian ketuntasan siswa, peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa, perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa antara model Treffinger dan model pembelajaran langsung, respon siswa terhadap model Treffinger. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan rancangan berupa True-Eksperimental dengan Pretest-Posttest Control-Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 10 Singkawang. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan teknik Probability Sampling yaitu Cluster Random Sampling. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis dan angket respon siswa. Teknik analisis data yaitu uji-t satu sampel, N-gain, Uji-t independen dua sampel, dan persentase respon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) pembelajaran dengan model Treffinger efektif meningkatkan ketercapaian ketuntasan siswa secara individual dengan rata-rata nilai siswa 77 dan klasikal dengan nilai KKM ≥ 70 mencapai 87%;(2) terdapat peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa sebelum dan sesudah diajarkan dengan model Treffinger yaitu dengan nilai rata-rata 58,6 menjadi 77; (3) terdapat perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa antara model Treffinger dan model pembelajaran langsung dengan hasil thitung= 2,5 >ttabel= 1,68. (4) Respon siswa terhadap model Treffinger diperoleh 61% dengan kriteria baik.Kata Kunci:Model Pembelajaran Treffinger; Berpikir Kreatif Matematis; Ketuntasan Belajar; Respon Siswa The Effectiveness of the Treffinger Learning Model on Students' Mathematical Creative Thinking AbilityABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Treffinger model on students' mathematical creative thinking skills as seen from four things, namely: the achievement of student completeness, the improvement of students' mathematical creative thinking skills, the difference in students' mathematical creative thinking skills between the Treffinger model and the direct learning model, and students' response to the Treffinger model. This study used an experimental method with a design in the form of True-Experimental with Pretest-Posttest Control-Group Design. The population in this study was all grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 10 Singkawang. The sampling technique with the Probability Sampling technique was Cluster Random Sampling. The data collection instruments were in the form of mathematical creative thinking skills tests and student response questionnaires. The data analysis techniques were the t-test of one sample, N-gain, independent two samples t-test, and percentage of response. The results of the study showed that (1) learning with the Treffinger model was effective in increasing the achievement of individual student completeness with an average student score of 77 and classical with a KKM score of ≥ 70 reaching 87%; (2) there was an increase in students' mathematical creative thinking skills before and after being taught with the Treffinger model, with an average score of 58.6 to 77; (3) there was a difference in students' mathematical creative thinking skills between the Treffinger model and the direct learning model with the result of tcount = 2.5 > ttable = 1.68. (4) The students' response to the Treffinger model was obtained 61% with good criteria.

Abstract

Mathematical connection skills are crucial because they are one of the goals of mathematics learning in secondary schools. Students who can connect mathematical concepts mathematically will have a deeper understanding and be able to retain them for longer. This study aims to determine the effect of generative learning models assisted by the refun box props on students' mathematical connection abilities, to find out the motivation and learning response of students using learning with generative models assisted by the refun box props on the relations and functions of class VIII of SMP Negeri 4 Singkawang. This study uses a Quasi-Experimental design. The population in this study were 8th grade students of SMP Negeri 4 Singkawang which consisted of eight classes totaling 253 students. Samples were taken by purposive sampling technique. The sample in this study consisted of two classes, namely VIIIH grade students as an experimental class (using the Generative learning model assisted by the Refund Box teaching aid) and VIIIF grade students as a control class (using direct learning models). The analysis shows: 1) there are differences in students' mathematical connection ability between classes using generative learning models assisted by refun box teaching aids and classes using direct learning models; 2) the effect of generative learning models assisted by refun box props on students' mathematical connection ability is high; 3) student learning motivation is categorized high; 4) student learning responses are categorized as good.Model Pembelajaran Generatif Berbantuan Alat Peraga Kotak Refun Terhadap Kemampuan Koneksi Matematis Siswa SMPN 4 SingkawangABSTRAKKemampuan koneksi matematis merupakan satu diantara kemampuan yang sangat penting karena kemampuan koneksi matematis merupakan salah satu tujuan dari pembelajaran matematika ditingkat sekolah menengah. Siswa yang dapat menghubungkan konsep-konsep matematika secara matematis, siswa tersebut akan memiliki pemahaman yang lebih mendalam dan dapat bertahan lebih lama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran pembelajaran generatif berbantuan alat peraga kotak refun terhadap kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa, motivasi dan respon belajar siswa saat pembelajaran dengan model generatif berbantuan alat peraga kotak refun pada materi relasi dan fungsi kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Singkawang. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain Quasi Eksperimental. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Singkawang yang terdiri dari delapan kelas yang berjumlah 253 siswa. Sampel diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Adapun sampel yang dipilih terdiri dari dua kelas yaitu kelas VIIIH sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIIIF sebagai kelas kontrol. Hasil analisis menunjukkan: 1) adanya perbedaan kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa antara kelas yang menggunakan model pembelajaran generatif berbantuan alat peraga kotak refun dengan kelas yang menggunakan model pembelajaran langsung; 2) pengaruh model pembelajaran generatif berbantuan alat peraga kotak refun terhadap kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa tergolong tinggi; 3) motivasi belajar siswa dikategorikan tinggi; 4) respon belajar siswa dikategorikan baik.Kata Kunci :Model Pembelajaran Generatif; Media Kotak Refun; Koneksi Matematis; Motivasi Belajar; Respon Belajar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap serta menganalisis aspek dan konsep matematika yang terkandung dalam bentuk dan alat-alat saprahan suku melayu di Kota Singkawang. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode etnografi. Pada penelitian ini subjek dipilih secara purposive sampling, yang berarti mereka dipilih berdasarkan pertimbangan bukan secara acak. Adapun subjeknya adalah tokoh adat yang mengetahui seluk beluk mengenai tradisi saprahan pada masyarakat melayu di Kota Singkawang. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Instrumen pengumpulan data terdiri dari pedoman observasi, pedoman wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan (verifikasi). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Bentuk saprahan terdiri dari saprahan pendek. Aspek dan konsep matematika yang muncul pada bentuk saprahan tersebut yaitu operasi hitung, bangun datar, modulo, permutasi, dan bilangan. (2) Alat-alat yang digunakan pada tradisi saprahan terdiri dari alas saprah, batel, gelas air, gelas tampang, pinggan saprah, piring lauk, pinggan nasi, gelas (cawan) tertutup, sendok nasi, sendok lauk, baki besar atau redang, baki kecil, serbet, serta tempat buah dan kue (apar). Aspek dan konsep matematika yang muncul pada alat -alat tersebut yaitu bilangan, bangun datar, bangun ruang, kesebangunan dan kekongruenan, simetri putar, operasi hitung dan transformasi geometri.Kata Kunci: Etnomatematika; Eksplorasi; Matematika; Saprahan; Suku MelayuExploration of Mathematical Aspects and Concepts in the Shapes and Tools of the Saprahan Malay Tribe of SingkawangABSTRACTThis research aims to reveal and analyse the mathematical aspects and concepts contained in the shapes and tools of Malay saprahan in Singkawang City. The research approach used was a qualitative approach with ethnographic methods. In this study, subjects were selected using purposive sampling, which means they were selected based on considerations, not randomly. The subject was a traditional figure who knows the ins and outs of the saprahan tradition in the Malay community in Singkawang City. Data collection techniques in this research included observation, interviews, and documentation. Data collection instruments consisted of observation guidelines, interview guidelines, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used in this research were data reduction, data presentation, and concluding (verification). The research results showed that (1) the form of saprahan consists of short saprahan. The mathematical aspects and concepts that appear in this form of saprahan are arithmetic operations, plane figures, modulo, permutations and numbers; (2) the tools used in the saprahan tradition consist of a saprah base, batel, water glass, viewing glass, saprah plate, side dish plate, rice plate, closed glass (cup), rice spoon, side dish spoon, large tray or redang, small tray, napkins, and fruit and cake holder (apar). Mathematical aspects and concepts that appear in these tools were numbers, plane figures, spatial figures, similarity and congruence, rotational symmetry, arithmetic operations and geometric transformations.

Abstract

Model pembelajaran Make A Match merupakan salah satu metode interaktif yang dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa, khususnya pada materi pecahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh model Make A Match berbantuan media puzzle terhadap pemahaman konsep matematika siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 27 Singkawang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain pretest-posttest control group design. Sampel terdiri dari 50 siswa yang terbagi menjadi kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol, yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data diperoleh melalui tes Pre-Test dan Post-Test, serta dianalisis menggunakan uji-t dan Effect Size. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan dalam pemahaman konsep sebelum dan sesudah penerapan model Make A Match, dengan nilai t hitung sebesar 2,93 yang lebih besar dari t tabel 2,01. Selain itu, hasil Effect Size sebesar 0,83 menunjukkan bahwa model ini memiliki pengaruh besar terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa. Keterlaksanaan pembelajaran juga menunjukkan hasil sangat baik dengan persentase keterlaksanaan sebesar 85%. Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran Make A Match berbantuan media puzzle efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep pecahan siswa dan dapat dijadikan alternatif dalam pembelajaran matematika di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Many students tend to give up easily when faced with Mathematics lessons. This has an impact on less than optimal learning outcomes. One of the main causes is the low self-confidence of students in understanding and solving mathematics problems, so they are afraid of failing and reluctant to try. Lack of self-confidence in their own abilities makes students unmotivated to learn optimally. Therefore, this study aims to determine whether there is an influence and difference in learning outcomes and emotional intelligence of students taught with the PBL model and the contextual model and how it is implemented at SDIT Nurul Islam Singkawang. This study uses a quantitative approach involving grade V students. Data collection was carried out through pretest, posttest and questionnaire questions. The results of this study indicate that differences in student learning outcomes are caused by PBL steps that have a positive influence by placing students as active subjects of learning, while differences in students' emotional intelligence are caused by the PBL model which provides space for students to express themselves and provide influence because the characteristics of PBL are in line with indicators of emotional intelligence.

Abstract

Today's educational transformation has led to digital-based learning. STKIP Singkawang is one of the universities implementing digital-based learning. The aim of this research is to determine the results of development, implementation, and student learning outcomes in implementing 5M activity-based digital learning with a cultural approach. The research method uses research and development (R&D) with a 4D development model without dissemination stages, namely the define, design, and develop stages. The research results show that the results of the development and implementation of digital modules for SBM courses can be presented more interactively, where all activities carried out in class are presented in writing in digital modules that contain 5M activities and are carried out synchronously and asynchronously. The majority of students' learning outcomes get very high scores, and student responses to learning are very positive.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) find out the results of needs analysis in developing LKPD; 2) find out the results of the development of LKPD; 3) determine the feasibility of LKPD in terms of validity, practicality and effectiveness. The research method used is Research and Development with the ADDIE development model. The LKPD test subjects were 24 students at SMP N 1 Selakau Timur. Data analysis techniques using validity, practicality and effectiveness analysis. The results of the study show that: 1) the results of the needs analysis on LKPD, a) the analysis of students' needs shows that teachers and students want teaching materials that can help in learning mathematics. b) curriculum analysis shows that the resulting LKPD is adapted to the 2013 curriculum. c) material analysis shows that the developed LKPD is rectangular material integrated with culture; 2) the results of the development of the LKPD resulted in 2 forms of design, (a) the first design/initial draft was the initial draft of the LKPD which was the result of the researcher's study. (b) The second design is the result of a revision of the initial draft based on expert validation and student readability tests. 3) LKPD Feasibility results, namely a) LKPD is declared valid because it obtains an average value of 50 with valid information, b) LKPD is declared practical based on the results of students' responses to the use of LKPD by obtaining an average response value of 50.21 with information the response was very good, c) the LKPD was declared effective because it obtained a mastery score in learning mathematics above the KKM (Minimum Completeness Criteria)
