Abstract

The aim of this research is to gain the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of developing instructional sets of mathematics through PjBL learning with realistic saintific approach and PISA-based measurements and to describe students' mathematical literacy skills in terms of KAM aspects and PISA measurement process. The development research using modified Plomp model. The tools developed include RPP, LAS, and TKLMBP. Data processed by -test, the proportion of -test, and gain test. The results showed: (1) The instructional sets PjBL model with realistic scientific approaches and PISA-based measurements to develop students' mathematical literacy skills is validity, practicality, and effectiveness; (2) The ability of students' mathematical literacy to based on the KAM aspects obtained in the three KAM groups is statistically significantly increased; and (3) students' mathematical literacy skills to based on aspects of PISA measurement, most students can solve problems that are in accordance with aspects of PISA measurement.

Abstract

The problems faced by partners are related to the implementation mechanism or product diversification process, related to the knowledge and skills of Kastaman Bidai craftsmen's creativity is still low. An effort is needed to overcome the problems faced by Kastaman Bidai UMKM partners.  STKIP Singkawang through the Product Diversification Program and E-Commerce optimization as an effort to escalate sales and business competitiveness to Kastaman Bidai UMKM. Implementation method by providing training and assistance in the form of preparing digital financial reports, diversifying bidai products, marketing and digital advertising of bidai products. The results obtained are that the Program can be implemented very well, 2. The understanding and skills of Kastaman Bidai UMKM Partners regarding the preparation of digital financial reports, diversification of bidai products, marketing and digital advertising of bidai products are very good and Kastaman Bidai UMKM Partners can produce Bidai derivative products

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti pengaruh Problem Based Learning terhadap kemampuan literasi matematis siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan post-test-only control design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII di SMPS Kopisan Singkawang. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan cluster random sampling dan diperoleh kelas VIII B sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII A sebagai kelas kontrol. Adapun untuk memperoleh data menggunakan tes kemampuan literasi matematis dalam bentuk soal uraian. Hasil tes kemampuan literasi matematis pada kelas eksperimen diperoleh nilai rata-rata 8,444 dan pada kelas kontrol diperoleh nilai rata-rata 6,933. Setelah dilakukan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji independent diperoleh ???? ℎ???????????????????? = 3,4964 > ???????????????????????? = 2,03951  pada taraf signifikan 5%,  artinya terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Kemudian diperoleh Effect Size sebesar 0,88 dengan interpretasi kategori besar. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan literasi matematis siswa kelas VIII di SMPS Kopisan Singkawang

Abstract

The thinking process is a cognitive development that occurs in the minds of students by involving new knowledge and problems that occur related to geometry concepts to solve problems or find solutions to the problems presented. This study aims to study and describe comprehensively the thinking process of students in solving geometry problems based on Harel theory in the design of Malay traditional houses. This research method is qualitative research with a case study design. Furthermore, the data collection used is observation, tests and interviews. Then for data analysis carried out is reflective analysis with data trustworthiness using the triangulation method. Thefindings in the research  of students' thinking processes in solving geometry in the design of Malay traditional houses are the core category / central phenomenon built or constructed by three themes which include mental act, ways of thinking and ways of understanding. Ageometric spec on the design components of West Kalimantan Malay traditional houses includes rectangles, triangles, squares, parallelograms, semicircles,  isosceles triangles, right triangles, rhombuses, and trapeziums. The findings in this study need to be implemented in mathematics learning design, which relates to students' experiences in everyday life that touch the realm of local cultural arts so that students become more understanding of the geometry concepts explained so that they can dig deeper into mental acts,  ways of thinking and ways of understanding in  order to foster various student thought processes in  Solve mathematics problems

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan menganalisis eksplorasi etnomatematika pada upacara adat Ba’samsam Dayak Salako. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode etnografi. Informan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Bapak Martinus Yohanes Mahadi selaku tokoh Adat sekaligus pembaca ritual dalam upacara Ba’samsam Dayak Salako. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model Miles dan Huberman yang terdiri dari redukasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat etnomatematika yang digunakan oleh masyarakat Dayak salako dalam Ba’samsam dan juga mereka telah mengembangkan pengetahuan matematika yang kaya dan beragam, terutama pada sebuah bilangan yang terdapat dalam pembacaan ritual atau doa, dan bentuk geometri yang terdapat dalam penggunaan alat serta jumlah bahan yang diperlukan untuk upacara adat Ba’samsam ini. Konsep-konsep matematika ini terintegrasi dalam berbagai aktivitas terutama dalam Ritual Adat Ba’samsam Dayak Salako.Kata Kunci: Etnomatematika; Eksplorasi; Ritual; Dayak; Ba’samsam Ethnomathematics Exploration of the Ba'samsam Dayak Salako TraditionABSTRACTThis study aims to study and analyze the exploration of ethnomathematics in the traditional ceremony of Ba'samsam Dayak Salako. This research used a qualitative approach with ethnographic methods. The informant in this study was Mr. Martinus Yohanes Mahadi a traditional figure as well as a ritual reader in the Ba'samsam Dayak Salako ceremony. The data collection used in this study was observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this study was the Miles and Huberman model which consists of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results showed that there was ethnomathematics used by the Dayak Salako people in Ba'samsam and also that they had developed a rich and diverse knowledge of mathematics, especially in the number contained in ritual recitations or prayers, and geometric shapes contained in the use of tools and the amount of materials required for this Ba'samsam traditional ceremony. These mathematical concepts were integrated with various activities, especially in the Ba'samsam Dayak Salako Traditional Ritual.

Abstract

Teknologi modern sebagian besar berkembang melalui penggunaan matematika. Akan tetapi, dibandingkan dengan negara lain, kemampuan matematika siswa Indonesia masih rendah, menurut data PISA dari tahun 2000 hingga 2022. Dengan menggabungkan teknik PBL dengan aktivitas math trail yang difasilitasi oleh mathcitymap, para peneliti bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan numerasi siswa. Pendekatan one group pre-test post-test digunakan dalam penelitian pra-eksperimen ini. Respon siswa terhadap kuesioner dan penilaian kemampuan numerasi digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data. Salah satu uji prasyarat yang digunakan adalah uji normalitas Kolmogorov-Smirnov. Uji t berpasangan, analisis ukuran effect size, uji n-gain, dan perhitungan persentase adalah beberapa metode analisis data yang digunakan.. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) terdapat perbedaan kemampuan numerasi siswa antara tes awal dan tes akhir yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai t hitung sebesar 7,460, lebih tinggi dari nilai t tabel sebesar 2,034 pada taraf signifikansi 5% setelah hipotesis diuji menggunakan uji-t sampel berpasangan. Hasilnya, H0 ditolak. Selain itu, kategori tinggi ditunjukkan dengan nilai effect size sebesar 1,27. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan numerasi anak dipengaruhi oleh paradigma PBL yang menggabungkan aktivitas math traildengan menggunakan mathcitymap. (2) Setelah penerapan model PBL dengan aktivitas trace matematika dengan menggunakan mathcitymap, kemampuan numerasi siswa pada materi geometri spasial meningkat, dengan nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,31, yang dikategorikan sedang. (3) Dengan nilai respons siswa rata-rata sebesar 64,05%, siswa merespons model PBL dengan aktivitas math trail yang didukung oleh mathcitymap dengan positif. Secara keseluruhan, temuan penelitian ini menyoroti betapa pentingnya menggunakan model pembelajaran kontekstual dan interaktif untuk meningkatkan standar pendidikan, khususnya di bidang matematika.

Abstract

This study evaluates the efficacy of the Team Games Tournament (TGT) model, augmented with snakes and ladders game media, in enhancing the conceptual comprehension and learning motivation of Grade 5 students at SDN 88 Singkawang. Employing a quantitative approach employing a quasi-experimental posttest-only control group design, the research encompassed all Grade 5 students through a total sampling strategy. The control group consisted of 23 students from class 5-A, while the experimental group included 24 students from class 5-B. Data was collected utilizing both test and non-test instruments, and assumption testing was conducted via the Chi-Square normality test and homogeneity of variance test. Independent samples t-test, effect size calculation, and percentage analysis were employed to analyze the data. The findings revealed a substantial disparity in conceptual understanding between the two groups. The experimental group demonstrated superior scores, as evidenced by t(45) = 5.61, p < 0.001, surpassing the critical value of ttable = 2.01. The effect size of 1.4 confirmed the pronounced impact of the TGT model coupled with snakes and ladders game media. Furthermore, students’ learning interest within the experimental group was categorized as high, with an average percentage of 82.1%. In summation, the integration of the TGT model with snakes and ladders game media significantly enhances both conceptual comprehension and learning motivation among Grade 5 students, particularly in the domain of mathematics, specifically fractions. These findings underscore the potential of combining cooperative learning models with game-based media to foster active engagement and profound understanding in elementary mathematics education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa pada materi kubus dan balok menggunakan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning.  Metode penelitian ini adalah Quasi Eksperimental Design dengan jenis penelitian Nonequivalent Control Group Design dengan kelas VIII A sebagai kelas eksperimen, dan kelas VIII B sebagai kelas kontrol di SMP Negeri 4 Singkawang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL) dengan  atau 1,63>0,4505 bearti  ditolak dan  diterima. Hal ini berarti bahwa ketuntasan belajar klasikal siswa pada kelas eksperimen dengan KKM ≥ 70 mencapai 75%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki dua tujuan, yakni: 1) Membuktikan jika terdapat perbedaan dalam kecakapan berpikir kreatif siswa di kelas yang menerapkan model PjBL berbantuan leaflet. 2) Besar pengaruh penerapan Model pembelajaran PjBL di kelas eksperimen dalam memengaruhi kecakapan berpikir kreatif siswa pada materi IPA Kelas V. Desain yang digunakan yakni penelitian eksperimen dan percobaan dengan sifat desain Non equivalent control group design. Populasi yang digunakan yakni kelas VB dan VA SD 7 Singkawang. Pengujian menggunakan model desain purposive sampling. Dari data analisis ditemukan perbedaan antara kelas yang diberi perlakuan model pembelajaran PjBL berbantuan leaflet dan kelas konvensional. Hasil ini didapatkan dari uji T, di mana nilai t hitung adalah 2.20 t tabel yakni 2.02. Selanjutnya dari penggunaan effect size didapatkan nilai 0,95 yang menunjukkan jika Penelitian ini memiliki pengaruh besar.
