Abstract

Sekolah merupakan tempat menuntut ilmu yang harus diperhatikan kenyamanan dan keindahannya. Kondisi tanah di Kalimantan yang pada umumnya tanah gambut membuat orang malas untuk mengolahnya karena butuh perawatan dan penanganan khusus. Hal ini juga terjadi di lahan sekolah yang bertanah gambut. Seperti yang terjadi di SMPN 5 Katingan Hilir. Sebagian lahan yang tidak didirikan bangunan dibiarkan kosong bahkan tidak jarang menjadi hutan liar jika jarang dibersihkan. Padahal lahan kosong sekolah sangat potensial untuk diperdayakan menjadi tanah yang produktif mengingat banyak sumber daya manusia di lingkungan sekolah seperti siswa dan guru. Dengan kondisi tersebut, penulis melakukan pengabdian dengan memberikan pelatihan kepada guru dan murid di SMPN 5 katingan Hilir dalam mengelola lahan kosong sekolah menjadi taman toga. Hasil capaian pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah terbentuknya taman toga di SMPN 5 Katingan Hilir atas partisipasi aktif siswa,guru dan kepala sekolah. Program taman toga di SMPN 5 Katingan Hilir ini akan terus dikembangkan meskipun kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilakukan telah selesai.

Abstract

The transformation of digital technology has resulted in fundamental changes in various sectors of life, including the field of education which is experiencing a significant paradigm shift. This study aims to explore the effectiveness of teacher professional education in improving educational technology skills in the digital era. Along with the rapid development of technology, teachers' ability to integrate technology into the learning process becomes a key element in creating innovative and relevant learning experiences. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach involving teachers who have participated in the professional education program as the main participants. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis of the education programs followed by the teachers. The results show that professional education substantially improves teachers' skills in utilizing various technological tools, including learning software, digital platforms and technology-based teaching techniques. In addition, the program also encourages the development of positive attitudes towards the use of technology as an integral part of learning. However, the effectiveness of the program is inseparable from challenges such as limited access to technology facilities, lack of follow-up training, and differences in the level of individual readiness to adopt technology. This study concludes that systematically designed professional education with a focus on educational technology has great potential to strengthen teachers competencies in the digital era. These results provide important implications for policy makers and education providers to continue developing needs-based programs, providing adequate infrastructure, and creating a supportive ecosystem that supports the application of technology in learning.

Abstract

ABSTRACT For elementary school students, online learning can cause students' learning motivation to decrease if the learning activities are not interesting for students. One of the applications used in online learning today is Google Classroom. The google classroom application provides various features that can be used for learning activities by teachers and students and is easier to use. This research is quantitative which consists of one independent variable and one dependent variable. The research sample was the fifth grade students of SDN-4 Palangka with a total sample of 54 students. Data from the variables of the use of the google classroom application and learning motivation data were collected using a questionnaire. Furthermore, the data that has been obtained, tabulated and then analyzed using the product moment correlation formula to determine whether or not there is a relationship between research variables, then analyzed by t-test to determine whether or not the relationship is significant. The trial and the results were analyzed using the SPSS 25 program. Based on the data analysis of the results of this study, it can be seen that there is a significant relationship between the use of the google classroom application and learning motivation in fifth grade students at SDN-4 Palangka, this is evidenced by the results of the calculation of the product moment correlation. it is known that the value of r-count = 0.509 > r-table of 0.263 at an error level of 5% and the magnitude of N = 54 and the results of the calculation using the t-test, it is known that the t-count is 4.26 greater than the value of t-table = 2.00 which means that there is a significant relationship between parental assistance in learning (X) and interest in learning (Y).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berfikir kritis siswa dengan menggunakan model TASC (Thinking Actively in a Social Context) melalui pembelajaran IPS di Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan Classroom Action Research (CAR) di Kelas IV A Sekolah Dasar Negeri I Menteng Kota Palangka Raya. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran TASC mampu meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Pada siklus pertama kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa (0%) yang mencapai kategori sangat kritis. Siswa yang mendapat kategori cukup kritis 12 siswa (42,86%). Siswa yang mencapai kategori kurang kritis sebanyak 16 siswa (57,14%) dan untuk kategori tidak kritis 0%. Dengan skor total aktivitas berpikir kritis siswa pada siklus I adalah (491). Skor ini berada di antara skor kuartil I (378) dan Skor Median (504). Artinya secara bersama-sama kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kategori kurang kritis. Setelah dilakukan perbaikan, pada siklus kedua kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa menjadi 4 orang siswa (14,29%) mencapai kategori sangat kritis. Siswa yang mendapat kategori cukup kritis 24 siswa (85,71%). Siswa yang mencapai kategori kurang kritis sebanyak 0 siswa (0%) dan untuk kategori tidak kritis juga 0% dengan skor total aktivitas berpikir kritis siswa (659). Skor ini berada diantara skor median (504) dan skor kuarti III (630). Artinya kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa sudah mencapai kategori cukup kritis.

Abstract

Indonesian students' creative thinking skills, as assessed by PISA 2022, were significantly below the average. This study evaluated the implementation of problem-based learning (PBL) in supporting the development of creative thinking skills among students at SMP Negeri 2 Gamping, Yogyakarta. A qualitative approach with a case study design involved three science teachers and eighth-grade students. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis. Validity was analyzed through data triangulation (observations, interviews, and documentation) and peer discussions. The findings indicated that problem-based learning had a positive implementation, although significant challenges remained, such as insufficient planning, non-contextual teaching media, and limited scaffolding. The teachers frequently used simple investigations that did not fully encourage deep idea exploration. The assessment was predominantly summative and did not comprehensively evaluate students' creative processes. This study recommended a more structured problem-based learning approach, contextual teaching media, and process-oriented formative assessment to foster students' creativity. Further research was suggested to explore the long-term impact of this strategy and the integration of educational technology.      Keywords: contextual media, creative thinking skills, problem-based learning, science investigation, case study.

Abstract

Bicara dan mendengarkan adalah bagian esensial dari tindakan komunikasi yang membentuk kehidupan kita. Cinta, benci, rindu, pegertian dan salah pengertian terbangun lewat bicara dan mendengarkan. Seluruh keindahan bangunan persahabatan, percintaan, dan mahligai hidup berkeluarga kita rangkai dengan bicara dan mendengarkan. Kendala utama bagi komunikasi antarpersona satu sama lain adalah kecenderungan alamiah kita untuk menghakimi, menilai, menyetujui, atau membantah pernyataan orang lain ataupun pernyataan kelompok.Karena untuk berbicara orang harus lebih dulu mendengarkan maka belajarlah bicara dengan mendengarkan. Mendengarkan sepertinya mudah dilakukan, namun pada kenyataannya tidak semua  orang berhasil menjadi pendengar yang baik. Tidak sedikit perselisihan, pertengkaran, bahkan pembunuhan terjadi, disebabkan hanya karena salah dengar lalu menjadi salah paham dan pada akhirnya jadi salah bertindak. Mendengarkan secara empatik dan selektif harus dipelajari secara sungguh-sungguh bila kita ingin menyerap sebanyak-banyaknya ilmu pengetahuan dan kebaikan.

Abstract

The Pancasila Student Profile is a descriptive framework that formulates the characteristics, attitudes, and fundamental values that are expected to be embedded in every student in Indonesia. This profile is formed based on the appreciation and practice of Pancasila values as the moral and ideological foundation of the nation. The Pancasila student profile has six elements, including (1) faith, fear of God Almighty, and noble character, (2) independence, (3) mutual cooperation, (4) global diversity, (5) critical reasoning, and (6) creativity. Although the Pancasila student profile is integrated into all intracurricular, co-curricular, extracurricular and habituation activities at school, the assessment of the Pancasila student profile is more focused on co-curricular activities, namely the project to strengthen the Pancasila student profile. This study aims to describe common misconceptions related to the project of strengthening the Pancasila student profile by teachers. The research method uses descriptive quantitative research, namely using questionnaires and interviews. The results of the study show that there is a misconception of teachers' understanding of PSPSP. These misconceptions are found in S2, S9, S1, S6, S10 and S5. The findings of teachers' misconceptions related to PSPSP encourage several important implications. Intensive socialization and training for teachers is needed, structured learning guides and modules, monitoring and evaluation are needed to ensure the suitability of practices with the goals and values of the Pancasila student profile.
