Abstract

This assistance is expected to provide additional information about peat soil management to the people of Keub Village, Arongan Lambalek District, West Aceh Regency, Aceh Province. Farmers can independently manage any problems that arise on peat soils, so they are able to take the right steps in current and future management efforts so that the land can produce optimally. Its management includes physical (mechanical), chemical, and biological aspects. Utilization of peat based on improving the community's economy and preserving the ecology of peat requires careful and measured preparation, including; the construction of integrated canal blocks by carrying out control and evaluation through strengthening institutional capacity including communities around peat (practitioners) and academics in a holistic manner in a definitive manner, with the hope that the use of peatlands will not have a negative impact on the current and future environment.

Abstract

Peningkatan produksi beras nasional memerlukan beberapa strategi antara lain perluasan areal tanam dengan mencetak sawah baru, peningkatan produktivitas lahan, dan perluasan areal panen melalui peningkatan indeks pertanaman (IP). Wilayah Kabupaten Tanah Datar menghasilkan padi sawah dengan produksi yang berbeda tiap kecamatan. Perbedaan hasil produksi padi ini terjadi dikarenakan perbedaan luas panen yang dipengarahui oleh indeks pertanaman padi. Salah satu cara untuk identifikasi IP padi yaitu dengan memanfaatkan teknologi penginderaan jauh melalui indeks vegetasi untuk melihat fase pertumbuhan padi pada citra satelit Landsat 8. Perhitungan indeks vegetasi yang andal dalam menentukan fase pertumbuhan padi adalah Enhanced Vegetation Index (EVI). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui indeks pertanaman lahan sawah di Kecamatan Sungai Tarab. Penelitian ini memanfaatkan citra satelit Landsat 8 pada tahun 2021 dan 2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif melalui interpretasi citra satelit Landsat 8 yang direkam pada tahun 2021 dan 2022 dan data survei lapangan. Penelitian ini menghasilkan hasil fase pertumbuhan padi di tahun 2021 dan 2022, peta sebaran indeks pertanaman tahun 2021 dan 2022, dan beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi perbedaan indeks pertanaman. Berdasarkan sebaran indeks pertanaman tahun 2022 meningkat dibandingkan 2022, yaitu terdapat tiga kelas indeks pertanaman IP 100, IP 200, dan IP 300. Sedangkan jaringan irigasi merupakan faktor utama dalam mempengaruhi IP padi di Kecamatan Sungai Tarab.

Abstract

Gayo Lues Regency is one of the regencies in Aceh Province, Gayo Lues Regency is very strategic to be built and developed into a development area in the upstream part of Aceh and supports the development of the eastern and western regions of Aceh. This district has great potential in developing coffee commodities. The Director General of Horticulture, Ministry of Agriculture has proposed 3 (three) approaches to address the problem of climate change in coffee cultivation, one of which is a strategic approach (regional identification), in the form of an inventory of data and information related to areas that cultivate coffee. This study aims to identify and analyze the potential of land that can be developed into coffee plantations based on the suitability of the spatial pattern of the region. The method used is spatial analysis with an overlay approach between the existing coffee plantation map and the spatial pattern map, slope, and altitude. The results of the study show that of the total area of ​​Gayo Lues Regency, the land that has the potential to be developed as a coffee plantation is 57,521.66 hectares. This area is based on spatial analysis in accordance with the designation of spatial patterns based on the Gayo Lues Regency RTRW. The sub-district with the greatest development potential is Terangun Sub-district, while Blangpegayon Sub-district has the smallest potential of all sub-districts in Gayo Lues Regency. The results obtained can be the basis for determining the priority of development areas and planning a more targeted and effective coffee cultivation program.

Abstract

Abstrak.Perubahan penggunaan lahan adalah proses perubahan dari penggunaan lahan sebelumnya menjadi penggunaan lahan lain yang bersifat permanen maupun sementara. Kabupaten Simeulue telah menetapkan Qanun Nomor 2 Tahun 2014 tentang Rencana Tata Ruang Wilayah Kabupaten Simeulue Tahun 2014-2034. Penggunaan lahan harus memperhatikan arahan pemanfaatan lahan yang tertuang dalam pola ruang. Sinkronisasi atau keselarasan penggunaan lahan dengan pola ruang yang telah ditetapkan dalam dokumen RTRW perlu dilakukan agar tidak terjadi penyimpangan/ketidakselarasan pada penggunaan lahan. Analisis keselarasan penggunaan lahan menggunakan geoprocessing, dengan menggunakan data shapefile penggunaan lahan Tahun 2021, dan data shapefile pola ruang Tahun 2014-2034. Kelas keselarasan dibagi menjadi tiga kelas, yaitu selaras, tidak selaras, dan transisi/belum selaras. Luas Penggunaan lahan yang selaras dengan pola ruang seluas 152.808,65 Ha (71,91%), sedangkan luas penggunaan lahan yang tidak selaras dengan pola ruang seluas 13.054,01 Ha (6,14%), dan penggunaan lahan yang belum selaras atau transisi seluas 46.649,34 Ha (21,95%).Land Use Synchronization and Spatial Patterns (Case Study: Simeulue District)Abstract.Land use change is the process of changing from previous land uses to other land uses that are permanent or temporary. Simeulue Regency has established Qanun Number 2 of 2014 concerning the Regional Spatial Plan of Simeulue Regency for 2014-2034. Land use must pay attention to land use directions contained in spatial patterns. Synchronization or alignment of land use with spatial patterns that have been determined in the RTRW document needs to be done so that there are no deviations / misalignments in land use. Land use alignment analysis using geoprocessing, using land use shapefile data for 2021, and spatial pattern shapefile data for 2014-2034. The alignment class is divided into three classes, namely aligned, misaligned, and transitional/unaligned. Land use area that is in harmony with spatial patterns is 152,808.65 Ha (71.91%), while land use area that is not in harmony with spatial patterns is 13,054.01 Ha (6.14%), and land use that is not aligned or transitional is 46,649.34 Ha (21.95%).

Abstract

The purpose of the service is to support the realization of sustainable food in Bueng Pageu Village, Blang Bintang Sub-District, Aceh Besar District. The activity is through increasing the capacity of farmers and PPLs with the technology of making solid and liquid compost easily and simply. The method used is a field school that involves the participation of farmers and PPLs directly who were previously given training on the technique of making solid and liquid compost and how to use it. The results of the activity showed that there has been an increase in the knowledge capacity of farmers in the manufacture and application of solid and liquid compost fertilizers reaching 52.87%. The decomposition process in producing solid compost takes 4 weeks, the results obtained are around 1200 kg with a potential economic value of Rp. 3,120,000 and 50 L of liquid compost with an economic value of Rp. 1,750,000. Making compost from agricultural waste and household waste can increase the community's revenue while overcoming health problems and environmental aesthetic value.
