Abstract

Kafir in the Qur'an is not always associated with non-Muslim meanings. The meaning of Kafir in the Khawarij has various meanings. The Khawarij are followers of Ali bin Abi Talib who left the ranks due to disagreements with Ali, who accepted arbitration. Muhammad bin Yûsuf bin Îsâ bin Shâlih Ithfisiy is a khawarij figure who translated infidels in the book Hamyân al-Zâd ilâ Dâr al-Ma'âd. The method used in this research is qualitative and library-based research using the descriptive-analytical method, namely describing the book's object of study and then continuing to analyze the book. The purpose of this writing is to find out how Muhammad bin Yusuf al-Itfisiy views the deception of the meaning of kufr in his book. The results of this study are that Muhammad bin Yûsuf bin Îsâ bin Shâlih Ithfisy is not always kufr as kufr i'tiqad, which makes the perpetrators fight in hell. Muhammad bin Yûsuf bin Îsâ bin Shâlih Ithfisy divided what is meant by kufr as; 1) Lying in the name of Allah, 2) Not making revelation a law, 3) Apostasy, 4) Shirk, 5) Fighting the Believers.

Abstract

In this study, the author explains how the relationship between science and religion from a fiqh expert, philosopher, and Sufi, namely Imam Al-Ghazali, is of course very important to study. The urgency or purpose of this discussion is to study the division of knowledge according to Al-Ghazali and see the spiritual development of an Imam Al-Ghazali. This paper is expected to make it easier for readers related to science and religion according to Imam Al-Ghazali and a bridge to understand the relationship between science, knowledge and religion according to Imam Al-Ghazali. The research used in this study is a literature study (liberary research) with a descriptive qualitative approach. The result of this discussion is that al-Ghazali's spiritual development is divided into three, namely before uzlah, during uzlah, and after uzlah. In his thinking al-Ghazali did not distinguish between knowledge and knowledge, both are the same. Therefore, al-Ghazali's concept is personal that the relationship between creator and creature is never united, only the closeness of creature and creator through piety. Al-Ghazali's religion and science are both objects that can be studied or studied and do not conflict with each other.

Abstract

Women have always been an interesting topic to discuss, and the discussion of women gets a sizable portion in the Qur'an. But unfortunately, there are still some narrow views in patriarchal culture that discriminate against women. This paper aims to highlight and analyze in depth the virtues and privileges of women in the Qur'an, which so far are still considered as subordinates. The method used in this study is a library research method with a semantic approach, this approach is used to examine the verses of the Qur'an related to the privileges of women and who the women mentioned in the Qur'an are. The results showed several women mentioned in the Qur'an Maryam, Fatât Madyan, Imara'atu Fir'ûn, Malika Saba', Imra'atu Imran, Maryam bint Imran and Khaulah bint Tha'labah. Their stories in the Koran confirm that women have excelled in both spiritual and professional careers, and that their strengths aren't domination by one gender. This argument gives a different perspective that women also have equal opportunities to achieve, do good, and enter the political, leadership, social and economic spheres.
