Abstract

Teachers are still unable to fully control the entire multimedia-based learning process. This is due to the minimum learning management system (LMS) development training followed by teachers in the school. Training organized by policy organizers can often only be followed by one teacher from each school. Taking into account the problems faced by the partners, the community dedication team has provided Edpuzzle training as an interactive learning resource at the partner schools. The event was conducted and attended by seven participants, namely, the teachers of the partner schools. The results of this activity have positive benefits and get a good response from the teachers. In addition to the training results, there was an increase in the participants' knowledge about the Edpuzzle.

Abstract

Cultural identity is a crucial foundation for children’s self development from an early age, especially amid globalization and technological change. This study investigates the relationship between exposure to Malay culture-based education in Early Childhood Education (ECE) and the cultural identity formation of children aged 5-6 years in Pekanbaru City. A quantitative correlational design was applied, using questionnaires distributed to teachers and parents from four ECE institutions. The sample was selected through purposive sampling, involving respondents directly engaged in Malay culture-based learning. Data were analyzed using Pearson correlation. The results show a significant positive relationship between Malay cultural exposure and cultural identity (r = 0.62; p < 0.01). These findings highlight the theoretical importance of integrating sociocultural perspectives in early childhood education and the practical implication of embedding local culture through language, folklore, pantun, and traditional games to strengthen cultural identity.

Abstract

Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini merupakan sistem pendidikan yang fokus pada perkembangan anak usia dini melalui prinsip, strategi, dan stimulasi yang sejalan dengan Kurikulum Nasional. Salah satu strategi yang dianggap sejalan yaitu pembelajaran deep learning. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan persepsi para guru PAUD di kota Pekanbaru terkait pembelajaran deep learning, termasuk konsep pemahaman, relevansi dan manfaat, serta hambatan saat penerapan. Penelitian ini menggunakan Deskriptif Kuantitatif dan menggunakan kuesioner di skala Likert yang didistribusikan secara online. partisipan adalah 82 Guru PAUD di sekitar Kota Pekanbaru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagian besar guru berpandangan positif terhadap pembelajaran deep learning dengan 39% baik dan 34% sangat baik, dan aspek manfaat 37% baik dan 31% sangat  baik. Namun, masih terdapat guru sebesar 37% pada kategori kurang baik dan 27% tidak baik yang menghadapi hambatan, terutama pada sarana seperti teknologi, kurangnya pelatihan berkelanjutan, serta tuntutan administrasi yang tinggi. Dengan demikian implikasi hasil penelitian ini yaitu kebutuhan untuk intervensi berkelanjutan dalam bentuk pelatihan professional bagi guru, dukungan pendidikan berupa seminar, serta menyediakan sarana dan media yang memadai sehingga guru dapat melakukan kegiatan belajar sesuai dengan capaian pembelajaran.
