Abstract

The purpose of this research is to study the performance of employees of Bank BTN Cimahi Branch through DREAM application training based on e-learning. This study is quantitative research. The type of data used in this study is quantitative data with data sources are primary data and secondary data. Methods of data collection using the registration document. Location Research was conducted at Bank BTN Branch Cimahi with the selection of a random sample of 3 different units as many as 30 people employees. Data were analyzed using inferential statistics, with test One sample t-test (one group) with SPSS version 22.0. Based on the results of data analysis obtained Sig. (2-tailed) N-Gain = 0.00 < α = 0.05. This shows that there is an increase in the performance of employees of Bank BTN Cimahi Branch through DREAM application training based on e-learning.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the learning of class VIII students at Nur Al Rahman Middle School in Cimahi City on linear equations of two variables system material using a scientific approach. In learning mathematics using a scientific approach, especially in linear equations of two variables system material, it is hoped that students can play an active, creative, skilled, and noble character, find and solve problems. The research method used was classroom action research with the subjects studied being 15 class VIII students. This research was conducted for 2 cycles with data collection techniques, namely observation, documentation, and tests in the form of essays that match the indicators of mathematical problem-solving ability. The increase in students' mathematical problem-solving abilities can be seen from the achievement of the percentage of test questions on the problem-solving abilities of the 2 cycles carried out. The instrument used in the research results found that the problem-solving ability skills in linear equations of two variables system material were 33% for cycle I, then 80% in cycle II. This means that learning mathematics in linear equations of two variables system material using a scientific approach has a better influence on students' mathematical problem-solving.

Abstract

Students have difficultly solving problem in question such as when solving word problrms, asking questions, making steps to solve, and solving problems given. Problem solving skills are a very important part of mathematics curriculum. So the researchers conducted a study that aimed to determine the effect of problem based learning models on problem solving abilities in class VII set material. The development model used is an experimental research type using a quantitative approach. The research data was obtained trough test instruments or scores from the problem solving instrument on set material. Data analysis of problem solving abilities was carried out using the t-test. The subjects of this study were 78 students. The sample was taken by simple random sampling, selected class VII D with a total 10 students as the experimental classs and 10 from class VII E as the control class. The results of this study indicate thet the problem based learning model has an effect on problem solving abilities. This can be seen based on the results of working on essay test question based on students problem solving abilities which get a tcount of 2.5776 while the ttable value is 2.0378. This means that the value of tcount is greater than t table, so in this case it means that H1 is accepted, meaning that there are differences in mathematical problem solving abilities between the experimental class and the control class. This shows that the problem based learning model has an influence on problem solving abilities.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the profile of self-esteem among 8th-grade students at SMP Negeri 36 Bandung. Self-esteem is an essential aspect for students as it can influence how they present themselves in social and family environments, as well as impact both their academic and non-academic performance. The methodology employed in this research is quantitative descriptive involving 222 students as samples. Data were collected using a self-esteem questionnaire distributed to the students and analyzed using descriptive statistics. Based on the findings from the questionnaire results, it shows that the majority of students have self-esteem in the medium category, totaling 169 students or 78%, while the high category includes 27 students or 12%, and the low category includes 26 students or 12%. Furthermore, in the aspect of competence, there are 28 students in the high category, 169 in the medium category, and 25 in the low category. In the aspect of worthiness, there are 24 students in the high category, 169 in the medium category, and 29 in the low category. Specifically, students feel more competent in certain skills compared to feeling valuable overall. This study concludes that the development of positive self-esteem is very important for students' personal, social, academic, and career development.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyse the students’ cognitive ability in the terms of reasoning which are relation to numbers and orders, and the application of learning that has not developed yet as what the teachers hope. This research is aimed to see how the early childhood can develop their cognitive ability by using picture card game. The type of this research is classroom action research (CAR) that has been done in three cycles. The subject of this research is early childhood as many as 16 students consisting of 8 male students and also 8 female students that age 4 to 5 years old. The researcher used observation, interview, and questionnaires as the instruments for data collection techniques. Then, the researcher analysed the data using qualitative method and it was also completed with quantitative analysis called as descriptive statistical analysis through percentage count. The finding of this research is there is a significant development of children’s cognitive ability in the terms of reasoning and numeracy ability. The development of early childhood skill in every cycle becomes an indicator where the result of pre-cycle to the children in development stage is 31, 25%. In the first cycle, it developed into 37, 5%, the second cycle increased into 43, 75%, and for the third cycle it became 56, 25%. The result of those all activities are that the application of picture card game can develop cognitive ability to early childhood. The use of picture card media will be much better if it is implemented with a various variety of game.
