Abstract

This research aims to help students manage their time wisely in their studies. Planning and implementing wise time management will really help students effectively, do all assignments quickly and can reduce themselves from stress in lectures, because assignments are piling up with tight deadlines. This research was conducted on IAIN Takengon students, with a total of 30 respondents. Respondents were randomly selected from students of the Islamic Education Management Study Program and Sharia Tourism Study Program. Research is carried out by providing materials and training related to tips on managing time wisely, so that students can effectively complete all assignments according to priorities. This will have implications for the time spent working on the task, without feeling rushed by the submission deadline. The results showed that students had not effectively followed the steps given to participants during the research process. The results of the evaluation which was carried out after 4 weeks after the training, informed that the participants tended to have problems with monitoring and evaluating the time management they planned. This is what causes many students to not be optimal in carrying out assignments because they do not carry out monitoring and evaluation in implementing the plans that have been prepared. Being the main cause of the task is not completed according to the previously planned deadline. But in general, on average all respondents already know how to do good time management, which they can follow the steps continuously, so that it can become a habit that helps their studies.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the phenomenon of gender equality in campus academic culture, the gender ratio in higher position holders, institutional patterns that are common in academic culture and classification based on symbolic power. The research was conducted using a mixed method, data was collected by distributing questionnaires to employees, for the sake of entering the data interviews were also conducted with selected informants. The collected data is analyzed by reducing, displaying data in tables and patterns, ending with drawing conclusions. The research findings show that in general there is no difference in treatment between men and women in their respective work departments based on the average recognition of 65% of male and female employees. The gender ratio in higher positions is dominated by men at 57.6% but this occurs naturally due to selection factors based on potential, programs carried out, leadership quality of the elected candidates. Gender inequality can be seen from the social conditions in the work environment based on the symbolic power of senior juniors where junior women get pressure from senior women in the academic culture in the work environment, especially in social communication and delegation of workload. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap fenomena kesetaraan gender dalam budaya akademik kampus, rasio gender pada pemegang jabatan tinggi, pola-pola kelembagaan yang umum terjadi dalam budaya akademik dan klasifikasi berdasarkan kekuasaan simbolik. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode campuran, data dikumpulkan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada karyawan, untuk kepentingan pemasukan data juga dilakukan wawancara dengan informan terpilih. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan mereduksi, menampilkan data dalam bentuk tabel dan pola, diakhiri dengan penarikan kesimpulan. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara umum tidak ada perbedaan perlakuan antara pria dan wanita di departemen kerja masing-masing berdasarkan pengakuan rata-rata 65% karyawan pria dan wanita. Rasio gender pada jabatan yang lebih tinggi didominasi oleh laki-laki sebesar 57,6% namun hal ini terjadi secara alamiah karena faktor seleksi berdasarkan potensi, program yang dijalankan, kualitas kepemimpinan dari kandidat yang terpilih. Ketidaksetaraan gender dapat dilihat dari kondisi sosial di lingkungan kerja yang didasarkan pada kekuatan simbolik senior junior dimana perempuan junior mendapatkan tekanan dari perempuan senior dalam budaya akademik di lingkungan kerja terutama dalam komunikasi sosial dan pendelegasian beban kerja.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to provide soft skills training in improving the ability to communicate effectively to prospective tertiary graduates. This is motivated by the lack of student communication skills, especially effective speaking communication. This mixed method research was carried out by describing the dominant qualitative data and then the data was complemented by quantitative data obtained from the survey. Qualitative data collection techniques were carried out by means of participant observation, interviews, document studies. The results showed that the main target of the training were students of the Faculty of Sharia and Tarbiyah IAIN Takengon as training participants totaling 40 people. Regarding the soft kill training method, it is carried out in 4 steps, namely: 1) prologue of training activities, 2) learning, 3) discussion and question and answer, 4) evaluation of activity results. The training process was carried out in 10 meetings, with 2 different sessions, namely listening and speaking communication skills improvement sessions. The results of the evaluation of the communication skills training activities showed that there was a significant increase in the abilities experienced by the participants. This can be seen from the data, that there was a very good increase of up to 90% of the total participants in listening communication skills. As for speaking communication skills, it was also seen that there was an increase from all participants reaching more than 50% of the total participants experiencing very good progress in improving speaking communication skills. Speaking communication skills are a bit difficult to improve. This is influenced by several factors, including aspects of courage and self-confidence of the participants that still need to be improved. Courage and low self-confidence make them shy in conveying the ideas they have in mind.

Abstract

This research wants to assess self-confidence related to student public speaking skills among BK UNP students, because good public speaking is supported by good self-confidence. The research was carried out using a mixing method using research instruments: questionnaires supported by interviews and observations from 50 students taken at random. The questionnaire has been validated with content validity and empirical validity and produced a validity index of 0.85 and a reliability index of 0.90. This research concludes that BK UNP students have good self-confidence when doing public speaking. From the results of interviews and observations conducted on students, it was found that students should have preparation for appearing in public, both in terms of preparing the material they want to convey and their needs when appearing, overcoming anxiety before appearing, and knowing some common words used by listeners. Due to the limitations of researchers, we only discuss one factor that supports female students' public speaking, namely self-confidence. It is recommended that future researchers conduct research related to public speaking skills in more depth and breadth by looking at other factors that influence public speaking skills and the methods used to improve public speaking skills.

Abstract

There is a fundamental difference in the concept of "ready to work" between the user perspective and the university, especially for prospective graduates who will enter the workforce. The research aims to provide an assessment of the job-readiness of prospective graduates from a university perspective. Job readiness of prospective graduates is assessed based on four aspects: work competence, personal intelligence, social intelligence, and organizational intelligence. The research uses the Mixing method by conducting interviews, distributing the work readiness scale (WRS) instrument developed by Caballero, and making additional modifications to suit the needs. The instrument was filled out by 64 respondents, 8 men and 56 women, spread over 4 study programs at Faculty of Tarbiyah, IAIN Takengon. Job readiness assessment of prospective graduates shows a good quantitative for all aspects measured. The percentage figures show that, on average, each aspect occupies more than 50%. Specifically, the communication skills section, quantitative assessment, and interviews reveal conditions that require special attention in communicating effectively, both oral and written communication. All aspects are assessed to represent the university's perspective in preparing its graduates to have all competencies they should have when entering the work environment. Some shortcomings are not denied. Universities should improve themselves to produce high-quality graduates to align themselves with user / employers needs.

Abstract

Abstract The aim for this research was carried out to create a product in the form of an assessment sheet for the practice of obligatory prayers. Research regarding the assessment and implementation of obligatory prayers for students has been conducted previously. However, this research was conducted to create a product in the form of an assessment sheet for elementary school students' mandatory prayer practice. The formulation of the research problem is whether the resulting product assessment sheet is suitable for use? To answer these research questions, researchers used the research method carried out, namely development research using the ADDIE development model. The feasibility seen by researchers here is in terms of construct validity and practicality of the assessment sheet. To assess construct validity and practicality, researchers asked for advice and recommendations from experts. The product assessment sheet produced in the research was assessed by experts. There are several inputs and suggestions from these experts which are used as a basis for making improvements to the product assessment sheet. After making improvements according to suggestions and input from experts, this product assessment instrument was declared feasible in terms of construct and practicality.AbstrakPenelitian ini dilakukan menciptakan sebuah produk berupa lembar penilaian praktek sholat wajib. Penelitian pengembangan bahan ajar dan pelaksanaan sholat wajib bagi siswa telah pernah dilakukan oleh peneliti sebelumnya.  Namun penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menciptakan sebuah produk berupa lembar penilaian praktek sholat wajib siswa SD. Rumusan masalah penelitian ini adalah apakah lembar penilaian produk yang dihasilkan telah layak untuk digunakan? Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji kualitas layanan mobile banking dan dinamika kepuasan nasabah bank syariah indonesia (BSI) di kota takengon. penelitian ini dilakukan sebagai respons terhadap perkembangan teknologi perbankan yang semakin pesat, khususnya dalam hal layanan perbankan berbasis mobile. metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survei dengan pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada nasabah bsi kota takengon yang aktif menggunakan layanan mobile banking. Penelitian ini memfokuskan pada aspek kualitas layanan mobile banking, termasuk kecepatan transaksi, keamanan, keterjangkauan, dan kemudahan penggunaan. selain itu, dinamika kepuasan nasabah juga menjadi fokus penelitian, dengan memperhatikan faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi kepuasan nasabah terhadap layanan mobile banking bsi. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan rumus presentase dan teknik analisis data kualitatif untuk mendapatkan pemahaman yang holistik terkait kualitas layanan dan kepuasan nasabah. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat memberikan pemahaman yang mendalam tentang sejauh mana kualitas layanan mobile banking BSI memenuhi harapan dan kebutuhan nasabah di kota Takengon, serta faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi kepuasan nasabah. Implikasi dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan masukan konstruktif bagi BSI dalam meningkatkan kualitas layanan mobile banking mereka, sehingga dapat mempertahankan dan meningkatkan kepuasan nasabah di tengah persaingan industri perbankan yang semakin ketat.

Abstract

The service that the author does at SDIT An Nahl Islamic School Pegasing is to provide training on making practical assessment instruments to teachers at the school. This training aims to give teachers the skills to make practical assessment instruments. The method that the author uses is CBPR (Community Based Participatory Research). This method is a method that is carried out to connect 2 circles, namely academics and the community by carrying out community service activities according to the needs desired by the community. This method also requires the joint participation of the entire community/society and the involvement of the researcher. From the training that the author provided, teachers who took part in the training felt great benefits from the training and teachers were able to make practice assessment instruments along with the scoring rubric. In addition, the teacher plans to bring the instrument to the school level and discuss it in teacher meetings so that it can be used during the learning process. and do not rule out the possibility that the instrument will be discussed when there are KKG activities.
