Abstract

The relocation of the national capital is a major project that requires public support, information transparency, and effective communication to overcome public resistance and ensure a good understanding of the policy objectives. Using a qualitative approach, this research examines the communication strategy implemented by the government through analysis of policy documents, communication media, and interviews with relevant parties. The results show that the government implements a communication strategy that includes socialization through mass media, direct outreach to the public, and the use of digital platforms to reach a wider audience. However, there are still obstacles such as negative public perception, limited access to information in certain areas, and uncertainty of project financing. This study recommends improvements in the quality and consistency of public communications, active community involvement in planning and implementation, and strengthening transparent policy messages to build trust and support the success of the IKN transfer.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the human development index and population affect economic growth in South Sumatra Province in 2018-2022. This study uses secondary data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) from 2018 to 2022. The Fix Effect Model (FEM) is the most appropriate model selection test found in this research approach, which uses a panel data regression analysis tool. The results of the study show that the HDI has a partial positive effect on economic growth, while the population has a negative effect that is not significant partially. Both variables simultaneously affect economic growth, emphasizing the role of the government in increasing population productivity to contribute to economic growth. In classifying a region as a Prosperous region, it is necessary to review the balanced Human Development Index (HDI) and population growth at a good level.

Abstract

This service aims to strengthen reading and writing literacy in lower grade students at SDN 02 Anggaraksa, Pringgabaya District, East Lombok Regency. This research uses the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method with a problem solving approach. The research subjects were students in grades 1 and 2 of SDN 02 Anggaraksa. Observation results prove that the superiority of reading and writing literacy for lower class students in this school is still relatively low. Some of the problems found include students not knowing letters well, having difficulty distinguishing several letters, and their ability to compose simple sentences is still lacking. To overcome this, the service team applied the Edutainment method and picture and picture learning media in implementing the reading and writing literacy program. With the Edutaiment learning approach, it has been proven that progress has been made, such as creating interesting learning, students can focus more on learning and with the application of drawing and drawing learning media, students have more freedom in learning while playing. Activities are carried out for one month with four meetings each week, with a focus on letter recognition, spelling, learning while singing, and the use of visual media. Even though there are several obstacles such as a lack of reading facilities and infrastructure, this program has shown positive results in optimizing the interest and literacy abilities of lower grade students at SDN 02 Anggaraksa.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of government external debt on Indonesia’s economic growth. The research is grounded in the phenomenon of increasing dependence among developing countries, including Indonesia, on external financing sources as a means to support national development funding. However, the relationship between external debt and economic growth remains a subject of academic debate, as empirical findings on this issue tend to be contradictory. The study employs a quantitative approach using time series data. The data utilized are secondary in nature, obtained from official reports on Indonesia’s external debt. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS version 24, applying classical assumption tests and multiple linear regression analysis. The results indicate that the external debt variable has a significant effect on Indonesia’s economic growth. This is evidenced by a regression coefficient of 13.280 and a significance level of 0.000, which is below the standard significance threshold of α = 0.05. Accordingly, the null hypothesis (H₀) is rejected, and the alternative hypothesis (H₁) is accepted. This suggests that government external debt makes a substantial contribution to the dynamics of national economic growth. The study affirms that in the Indonesian context, external debt can function as a supportive instrument for economic development, provided it is managed prudently and allocated toward productive sectors that have a direct impact on long-term economic growth.

Abstract

The Bada Valley area has high-value cultural and natural wealth that needs to be preserved and managed properly. For this reason, understanding the significant values of its cultural and natural resources is important. Up to now, the significant value of cultural heritage in this area has often been debated, because it is resulted from an Authorized Heritage Discourse, in which the values are determined solely by the authority and prioritizes the material elements of the cultural heritage. This discourse is no longer relevant today. This paper will discuss the results of significant values derived from a different approach, namely the multistakeholder perspective. The importance of cultural heritage is determined based on the views of the identified stakeholders. This descriptive qualitative research focused on Lengkeka and Kolori villages, which were selected by purposive sampling. The results of this study show that there is a diversity of significant values of cultural heritage. Differences in seeing significant values need to be accommodated in good management and preservation, so that each party can play a role in management and obtain benefit equitably.
