Abstract

Masyarakat Kampar memiliki hukum adat yang telah diamalkan secara turun-temurun dalam hal pengaturan warisan, namun tidak sama ketetapan pembagiannya sebagaimana telah disampaikan dalam QS. An-Nisa [4]: 11 yaitu 2:1. Tulisan ini melihat bagaimana bentuk pembagian waris yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat adat Kampar dan memaparkan bagaimana pandangan Islam memahami realitas tersebut. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan wawancara mendalam (indepeth interview) dan telaah beberapa sumber sekunder. Dari hasil analisis yang telah dilakukan dapat dipahami   bahwa pembagian harta waris yang dilakukan menurut adat Kampar, adalah berdasarkan jenisnya; berupa rumah peninggalan orang tua untuk anak perempuan bungsu, tapak rumah untuk anak perempuan lainnya dan kebun untuk anak laki-laki. Pembagian ini untuk melindungi perempuan dari hal-hal buruk yang bisa dialami mereka di kemudian hari. Selain itu, hal ini dilakukan sebagai cara untuk selalu menjunjung tinggi serta memberikan penghormatan terhadap perempuan. Ditinjau dari pandangan Islam, hal ini tidak menyimpang dari nilai-nilai universal Islam.[Kampar people have customary law that has been practiced from generation to generation in terms of inheritance regulation, but it is not the same as the distribution provisions as stated in the QS. An-Nisa [4]: 11 which is 2: 1. This paper looks at the form of inheritance carried out by the Kampar indigenous people and explains how Islamic views understand this reality. This research was conducted with in- depth interviews and study of several secondary sources. From the results of the analysis, it can be understood that the distribution of inheritance of  Kampar Adat is  based on the type of property in the form of a parent’s inheritance house for the youngest daughter, the land for building houses for the other daughter and the farm for the son . It is to protect women from the bad things they can happen in the future. Besides,  it also  the way how those  people respect and appreciate their  women. From Islamic point of view, it is not against the universal values of Islam.]

Abstract

This article examines the existence of a tradition and the content of the values of the Islamic scriptures (Al-Qur’an and Hadith) inherent and practiced in the Gugur Gunung tradition carried out by the community in Gunungpring Village, Magelang. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and analyzed qualitatively through Karl Mannheim’s sociological perspective of knowledge into three meanings: objective, expressive, and documentary. The results of the study are presented as follows. The objective meaning of the Gugur Gunung tradition is a tradition that has existed for a long time and is still being maintained today in various conditions. While expressive meaning can be captured two inherent meanings, namely the meaning of life in the later days and the meaning of the inheritance of past lives from ulama. The documentary meaning of this tradition is to foster harmonization (gotong royong, tolerance, please help) and as a medium of spirituality education for the community in maintaining a tradition. Through reading the Sociology of Knowledge using the three meanings above, it can be understood that the existence of a tradition that can survive in society will always continue to be preserved if two aspects are built that are bound together. First, internally there is a spiritual belief in  the values of the past and life in the later days. Secondly, externally, it deals with the order of socio-religious harmonization in society. The various values inherent in this tradition are in line with the teachings of the Islamic scriptures. Thus these values will continue to be produced and practiced in life in society.

Abstract

Abstrak: Model dakwah para ulama sufi Indonesia mampu memadukan secara harmoni antara lokalitas budaya, nilai keislaman dan kondisi sosial masyarakat, sehingga mudah diterima secara luasArtikel ini membahas harmonisasi dakwah KH Dalhar melalui media Syi’ir Doa Jawa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan semiotika untuk memahami setiap “tanda-tanda” yang terbangun didalamnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukan ada tiga aspek bangunanan harmonisasi dakwah KH Dalhar di dalam Syi’ir Doa Jawa tersebut. Pertama, aspek lokalitas dengan mempertimbangkan tata nilai kebahasaan yang mudah dipahami oleh masyarakat. Hal ini terlihat dari penggunaan bahasa Jawa sebagai bahasa sehari-hari masyarakat setempat. Kedua, aspek ruhaniyah yang disisipkan dengan cara yang luwes dan mudah diucapkan di dalam tiap bait syi’irnya. KH Dalhar selalu menyisipkan nilai illahiyyah melalui lafadz “Allahumma” di setiap awal syi’ir doanya. Ketiga, aspek jasmaniyah dengan menghadirkan sisi nilai ekonomi sebagaimana tersirat di dalam syi’irnya. Kata-kata seperti “biso nyandang” (bisa berpakaian), “biso ngeliwet” (bisa makan) dan “sugih” (kaya) menunjukan adanya dorongan membangun etos kerja bagi masyarakat dalam memenuhi kebutuhan hidupnya. Ketiga aspek tersebut mencerminkan harmonisasi dakwah ulama Sufi Indonesia yang adaptif, kreatif, dan seimbang, sehingga mendatangkan kemaslahatan dan sesuai dengan perkembangan zaman.  Kata Kunci: Syi’ir Doa Jawa; Harmonisasi Dakwah; KH Dalhar.

Abstract

Dialogue between religion and science is a necessity, because both of them can mutually reinforce the sources of Islamic law. The astronomical approach in the study of hadith makes a significant contribution to the development of astronomy. This article aims to examine the thoughts of an Indonesian Muslim scholar, namely Syamsul Anwar, who offers the concept of the interconnection of astronomy with hadith (especially astronomical hadith). This type of research is a literature by conducting a descriptive analysis of Syamsul Anwar's thoughts. The results of the study show that his contribution to the study of astronomy through an astronomical approach is able to strengthen understanding of the position of a hadith not only from a shari'ah perspective but at the same time being able to explain the meaning of a text using scientific principles (science). The study shows the importance of contextualization and interconnection between Islamic scholarship and other scientific fields. Thus, the efforts that have been made by Syamsul Anwar further strengthen the importance of dialogue between religion and science

Abstract

Persepsi tentang kesakralan bentuk komunikasi satu arah dengan orientasi ketaatan total seorang santri kepada kiai bukan lagi gambaran yang ditunjukkan oleh seluruh santri. Melalui kajian etnografi, penelitian ini melihat tingkat ketaatan seorang santri kepada kiai setelah ia masuk perguruan tinggi (Mahasantri). Dengan melakukan observasi partisipan, dimana selama masa penelitian peneliti menjadi bagian dari Mahasantri di dua pesantren di kota Surabaya dan Yogyakarta, temuan penelitian mengidentifikasi bahwa ketaatan Mahasantri kepada kiai tetap ada. Akan tetapi, pilihan-pilihan rasional yang dimiliki Mahasantri tersebut membentuk pemahaman baru tentang konsep ketaatan, dimana ada bagian-bagian tertentu dari aspek ketaatan tersebut yang mengalami pergeseran, atau dapat disebut dari ketaatan absolut menjadi ketaatan kondisional.
