Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelaah kajian literatur pustaka lebih dalam dengan memaknai pernikahan anak di bawah umur, dan keterkaitannya dengan upaya konselor sekolah dalam memenuhi capaian tugas perkembangan remaja. Metode dalam penelitian ini berupa analisis kajian literatur dengan hasil sintesa penelitian berupa (1) perlu adanya pelaksanaan langkah kongkrit upaya preventif layanan konselor sekolah berupa bimbingan, kolaborasi, konsultasi dan advokasi pada remaja dengan isu kesehatan reproduksi, sehingga laju angka pernikahan dibawah umur dapat ditekan, (2) selain itu perlu dikaji kembali upaya konselor sekolah dalam memfasilitasi tugas perkembangan remaja yang putus sekolah akibat dikeluarkan dengan isu hamil pranikah hingga menikah di usia dini. Konselor sekolah dapat melakukan layanan advokasi dan bimbingan perencanaan karir sejak dini, sebagai upaya dukungan sistem pemberdayaan hak anak sehingga anak tetap dapat berkarir dan memiliki harapan hidup yang tinggi meski dengan keterbatasan yang dimiliki.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the process of implementing classical guidance services using poster and video media. The success of this study occurs when there is an increase in the understanding of the dangers of smoking in active smokers. Counseling Guidance Action Research (PTBK) was carried out in 2 cycles using questionnaires, interviews, observations and documentation. Based on the results of study, it can be concluded that the use of video media in cycle 2 is considered more effective in providing classical guidance services than the use of poster media in cycle 1. Submission material of understanding the dangers of smoking using poster in cycle 1 received a passive participation response from students. After the students finished studying the poster information, the students looked bored, and not enthusiastic until the activity ended. That contrast with cycle 2 of providing classical guidance services using the video media, students seemed to be more actively focused on listening to videos, expressing themselves during the brainstorming session. Submission of material using video is considered more effective, because it appears a decrease in the number of students experiencing boredom. The results of the evaluation of the questionnaire on the understanding of the dangers of smoking showed that before the provision of classical guidance services, the level of students' understanding of the dangers of smoking was low (mean score of 25). After cycle 1 was run using poster media, there was an increase in understanding of the dangers of smoking to a moderate level (mean score 38). Then after the researchers ran cycle 2 the provision of classical guidance services using video media, students experienced an increase in understanding the dangers of smoking to a high level (mean 60). The use of video media is considered effective and recommended in providing classical guidance services to active smoking students at Madrasah Aliyah Miftahul Ulum.

Abstract

Research Objectives: to see the effect of Therapeutic Community with Static Group on increasing self-control of drug abusers. Research Methods: This study used Counseling Guidance Action Research (PTBK), along with qualitative research methods. Participants in this study consisted of drug abusers. The sample in this study amounted to 3 residents. The data collection techniques used were questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is data reduction and data presentation. Research Results: The process of self-control of drug abusers by using Therapeutic Community with Static Groups runs smoothly so that self-control increases during the process. There is an increase in the self-control of drug abusers after being given the Therapeutic Community approach with Static Group from 6.67 percent good enough to increase after the first cycle was carried out to 28 in the high category and increased according to the researchers' expectations after the second cycle action was carried out with a percentage of 36.67 in the high category. : there is the influence of Therapeutic Community with Static Group on increasing self-control of drug abusers. Implications: residents are more focused so they can respond well when interacting. As prospective counselors who will also handle the same case to help improve the self-control of drug abusers, they must increase their knowledge and insight from now so that when meeting clients, they can better prepare themselves mentally to handle the case.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the form of stress experienced by New Islamic Guidance and Counseling Students who still live at Ma'had Al Jami'ah IAIN Pontianak. The type of research used is case study qualitative research using a descriptive approach to obtain data. Data collection using interview and observation instruments. The subjects of this study were 4 new students of Islamic Guidance and Counseling class of 2022 who still live at Ma'had Al Jami'ah. The results of the study found that there were several factors that caused Islamic Guidance and Counseling students to experience stress, one of which was the factor from the Ma'had environment because, when carrying out an activity they looked less enthusiastic and easily tired in carrying out their respective assignments, this can be seen from the observation results when they participate in activities in the organization, these students seem to be more quiet and only play their cellphones.

Abstract

Belakangan ini masalah terkait pelecehan seksual marak terjadi di lembaga pendidikan salah satunya adalah lingkungan kampus. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran pemahaman mahasiswa terkait pelecehan seksual itu sendiri. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan jenis penjelasan deskriptif. Responden penelitian merupakan mahasiswa di lingkungan Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Ibn Khaldun Bogor yang berjumlah sebanyak 153 orang, yang terdiri dari 92 perempuan dan 61 laki-laki. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan kuesioner yang terdiri atas 48 butir pernyataan yang terbagi dalam 7 indikator. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) responden penelitian belum memahami perbuatan pelecehan seksual (2) pelecehan seksual tidak dikaitkan dengan gender dan keadaan individu (3) jenis pelecehan yang paling ditemui di lingkungan kampus yaitu penampilan dan gerak tubuh yang menjurus ke arah seksual yang tidak diinginkan serta tatapan dan ucapan lelucon menggoda dengan sengaja, atau komentar tentang seks (4) tanggapan perilaku pelecehan seksual yaitu dengan menghindari kontak dengan pelaku pelecehan, misalnya bolos kelas/mengubah kursus/dipindahkan ke fakultas/program studi lain; akan mengambil tindakan lebih lanjut; akan menghadapi pelaku; akan berbicara dengan keluarga/teman dan rekan/sesama mahasiswa dan berbicara dengan konselor/psikolog/psikiater sebagai tanggapan atas pelecehan seksual yang dialami (5) tanggapan emosional terhadap perilaku pelecehan seksual ditunjukkan dengan perasaan tidak aman di kampus, rasa memiliki yang buruk terhadap kampus, murung,  kepercayaan diri/citra diri menjadi rendah, takut berinteraksi, merasa diperlakukan tidak sama di kampus, tidak bisa konsentrasi belajar, tidak ada respon kuat/respon emosional negatif dan merasa lelah/tidak berdaya/tidak puas (6) alasan tidak melapor ke pengawas atau universitas saat mengalami pelecehan seksual karena tidak ingin kejadian tersebut dibicarakan dan tidak ingin membuat situasi belajar mereka tidak menyenangkan dan (7) hanya sebagian kecil mahasiswa yang mengetahui adanya lembaga bantuan dan layanan antisipasi kekerasan seksual yang tersedia di Kampus UIKA Bogor.

Abstract

This Guidance and Counseling Action Research (PTBK) aims to increase understanding of sexual education among teenagers through interactive media, namely spin wheels, picture cards and posters. This research was carried out at SMA Negeri 03 Sungai Kakap with 30 class XI students as research subjects. This action research method consists of two cycles, each cycle includes the stages of planning, action, observation and reflection. In cycle I, spin wheel media and picture cards were introduced as tools to help convey sexual education material. Observation results show that there is an increase in understanding, but there are still some students who are less responsive. In cycle II, the use of posters was added to strengthen students' visuals and understanding. The research results show a significant increase in students' understanding of sexual education after using interactive media. The average student comprehension test score increased from 20% during the pre-cycle to 50% in cycle I then increased again to reach 83.33% at the end of cycle II. The conclusion of this research is that the use of spin wheel media, picture cards and posters is effective. Spin wheel, picture cards and posters are effective in improving adolescent sexual education. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 03 Sungai kakap dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas XI yang berjumlah 30 orang. Metode Penelitian tindakan ini terdiri dari dua siklus, masing-masing siklus meliputi tahapan perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Pada siklus I diperkenalkan media spin wheel dan kartu bergambar sebagai alat bantu dalam menyampaikan materi edukasi seksual. Hasil observasi menunjukan ada peningkatan pemahaman namun masih ada beberapa siswa yang kurang responsif. Pada siklus II ditambahkan penggunaan poster untuk memperkuat visual dan pemahaman siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman siswa mengenai edukasi seksual setelah penggunaan media tersebut. Skor rata-rata tes pemahaman siswa meningkat dari 20% saat pra siklus sampai 50% pada siklus I kemudian meningkat lagi mencapai 83,33% pada akhir siklus II. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah penggunaan media spin wheel, kartu bergambar dan poster efektif spin wheel, kartu bergambar dan poster dalam meningkatan edukasi seksual remaja. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan integrasi media interaktif dalam pembelajaran bimbingan untuk mencapai pemahaman yang lebih baik dan menarik.

Abstract

This study examined the relationship between academic major satisfaction and students’ psychological well-being and distress. Data were collected from 429 Indonesian university students (17-24 years of age) using a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected using an academic major satisfaction scale, brief symptom inventory, and Ryff’s psychological well-being adapted to the Indonesian context. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and Mann Whitney U-test. The result showed that students with higher major satisfaction exhibited higher psychological well-being and lower psychological distress. This paper also discusses the importance of providing individual planning services by school counselors to help students find the most suitable major for them.

Abstract

Overseas students with various gender backgrounds and socioeconomic statuses face various challenges in cultural adaptation in higher education. Hence, it is not uncommon for overseas students to experience stress which affects their career decision self-efficacy. The aim of this study was to provide an overview of overseas students’ career decision self-efficacy, which is influenced by socioeconomic status and gender. Measurements were carried out using the career decision self-efficacy-short form (CDSE-SF) which has been adapted in Indonesian. Respondents in this study amounted to 154 overseas students at universities all across Indonesia. The research method used was comparative research with descriptive statistics (mean and standard deviation) and non-parametric statistics (Spearman and Mann-Whitney U) analysis techniques. The results showed that the highest scores were sequentially in the domains of self-appraisal, goal selection, planning, occupational information, and problem-solving. In the correlation analysis and comparative test, it can be seen that there is no relationship between students’ socioeconomic status and career decision self-efficacy and there is no difference based on gender. The results of the research discussion indicated that family support, acculturation, and career-related training were important in increasing career decision self-efficacy.

Abstract

The phenomenon of sexual violence in higher education necessitates the provision of advocacy, guidance, and counseling services. The development of a manual for these services can assist micro-groups (students, faculty members, and educational staff) in gaining a deeper understanding of sexual education, advocacy services, and mechanisms for addressing sexual violence within the higher education environment. Research and development methods have been carried out through to the implementation and evaluation stages of the manual. The research findings indicate that the sexual violence advocacy, counseling, and guidance manual has achieved 93% alignment with the research objectives and the needs of the micro-groups. Evaluation results from its use among students confirm an 80% increase in students' knowledge. Therefore, the manual developed from this research can be implemented and further developed across academic programs at the university level.
