Abstract

This research aims to see does income inequality determines the happiness of Indonesian. This is important because there is a unique condition where Indonesia to be one of the developing nations which have a complexity of the income inequality issue, but it still has a high happiness index rate. This research uses cross-sectional data consisting of multiple indicators of all the variables from 34 provinces of Indonesia such as inflation, unemployment, and government investment as the macroeconomic factors, which have a direct impact on income inequality as well as happiness index, and this research uses path analysis model.The result delineates that although macro economics variables and income inequality have negative correlation toward happiness of Indonesian, it it not fully effected on it because most happiness of Indonesians are coming from another aspect such as socio-culture and religiosity

Abstract

This paper will discuss about the immaterial costs and production yields at one of the refined sugar factory companies in Makassar, South Sulawesi. The theory is based on the fact that Immaterial is a cost that is almsgiving, meaning costs that are outside of the basic costs of the company in producing production, so this research aims to find out: (1) what is the production cost needed to produce this production, (2) the maximum level of production at company from 2013 to 2017. This type of research is a quantitative study because it uses a questionnaire in the form of values ​​that are processed using the marginal cost approach formula. The results of the analysis show that (1) the maximum level of production costs occurred in 2016 amounting to 6,912 with an Immaterial cost of Rp. 2,481,796,800 and the total production produced is 359,077.3 tons (2) The required workforce with the total production produced is 359,077.3 tones of 180 people including the maximum production point which means that the lowest value is achieved (optimal).

Abstract

This research aims to discuss those four aspect toward companies’ performance. Government capital ownership is another crucial aspect which able to consider by companies for increase their performance. This is because the higher perentage government capital have, the biggest power they able to control the companies, and it is a good condition because they able to reduce agency’s issues between management and shareholders which absolutely brings positive influence on companies’ performance. Nevertheless, it still lack of studies which combined mandatory, voluntary disclosrues, political accountability and government capital ownership for measuring companies performance. The result come out that although government capital ownership brings no significant effect to boost companies’ performance, it is able to moderating the variable of mandatory, voluntary disclosures and political accountability have significant positive effect to increase companies’ performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of leadership style, work discipline and motivation on the performance of employees at the Trade and Industry Service of Gowa Regency. This type of research is quantitative research that is to find out and analyze the influence of leadership style, work discipline and motivation on the performance of the District Trade and Industry Office. The results of this study found that leadership style has a positive and not significant effect on performance, work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, motivation has a positive and not significant effect on employee performance. Work motivation has the most dominant influence positively and significantly on the performance of employees of the Trade and Industry Office of Gowa Regency.

Abstract

Agricultural has a prominent role in maintaining the equilibrium of economic condition. Nevertheless, most people have a tendency that this agricultural sector is not prospective enough in improving their living standard, then they decide to be an employee which is already crowded. Thus, this study will discuss and learn about Lewis's model of two-sector economics regarding to reinterpretation of this condition. The purpose of this research is to formulate the right model in improving the standard of living of agricultural sector workers. In this study will use quantitative methods with descriptive analysis to develop the models offered by Lewis. The results obtained by minimizing the massive transformation of agricultural sector workers to industrial sector workers can reduce the inequality in terms of employment. Where agricultural sector workers can upgrade their skills with the help of government social programs, namely labor-intensive programs so that farmers can prosper without leaving their main professions to become farmers, so that the employment sector industry does not expand (especially in urban industries).

Abstract

Penelitian ini akan membahasa mengenai pengungkapan CSR dan persepsi risiko yang digunakan sebagai preferensi bagi masyarakat dalam berinvestasi pada perusahaan emiten yang terdaftar di JII. Tujuan yang hendak dicapai adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh pengungkapan CSR dan persepsi risiko yang signifikan terhadap minat investasi masyarakat pada Perusahaan Emiten yang terdaftar di JII. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif yang akan dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial, pengungkapan CSR dan persepsi risiko berpengaruh positif namun tidak signifikan terhadap minat investasi masyarakat pada Perusahaan Emiten yang terdaftar di JII. Abstract

This research aims to find out the influence of independent committee boards, audit committee repats, foreign ownership, and audit quality on the timeliness of financial reporting and their impact on investors' reactions both directly and indirectly. This research uses a quantitative method with population and sample of companies registered in Jakarta Islamic Index (JII). Data will be processed using path analysis using IMB SPSS Statistic 22 software. Based on the results of this research, it is known that directly, independent commissioner variables and audit quality have a positive effect on investor reactions, while foreign ownership variables and audit committee meetings have a negative effect on investors’ reactions. While the indirect influence can be known that only audit committee meetings, foreign ownership, and audit quality can have a significant impact on investors' reactions through the timeliness of disclosure of financial statements as intervening variables. The implication of this research is to prove that the existence of corporate governance in terms of determining the intensity of audit committee meetings, foreign ownership, and determination of KAP selection in improving the quality of audits can make the company more efficient and timely in disclosing its financial statements in order make positive reactions from investors that indicates good news for the company.

Abstract

Financial technology era is forced such financial institutions become digitalize in today’s world regarding to increasing financial inclusion and empowering unbanked societies. Nevertheless, this phenomenon is not override the function of bank which is the earlier financial institution that is splashing around in the term of financial inclusion. Actually, those two financial institutions have such strengthen and weakness in order to operate their primary activities in the term of funding and financing, thus, if banking and financial institutions are collaborating it could be fulfilled their main function each other regarding to rising up such financial inclusion of unbanked society. This research discusses the cooperation between banking and financial technology institutions in order to increase financial inclusion of unbanked society. Also, this is kind of qualitative descriptive research through the philosophy of positivism approach. As the result, this research delineates if bank and financial technology institutions are collaborating it could increase the rate of financial inclusion of unbanked citizens effectively and efficiently, not only that, but it would worth for those two institutions in the term of operational.

Abstract

The bottled drinking water industry is growing due to the increasing level of community needs. So the company must make a marketing strategy in order to survive and win competitors. The population in this study were 464 consumers majoring in musamus university management and determining the sample using the Slovin formula was a sample of 61 people. data collection using a questionnaire. The method used is multiple linear analysis method. Test results prove that product quality and price have a positive influence on purchasing decisions. This should be a concern for management CV Tirta Alam Jaya Merauke will be quality products and prices because it affects the purchasing decision.

Abstract

Penelitian ini akan membahas tentang pengaruh harga jual dan tingkat margin terhadap keputusan pelanggan untuk menggunakan produk murabahah BMT As'Adiyah Sengkang. Tujuannya adalah untuk mengetahui apakah biaya barang dan tingkat margin memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan bagi pelanggan menggunakan produk murabahah di BMT As'Adiyah Sengkang. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan akan ditafsirkan menggunakan uji regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, secara simultan, harga jual dan tingkat margin memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap pengambilan keputusan tentang pembiayaan murabahah BMT As'adiyah Sengkang. Namun secara parsial harga jual berpengaruh signifikan sedangkan margin tidak berpengaruh terhadap keputusan nasabah.
