Abstract

Writing is a skill that rarely gets attention from teachers, even though writing activities are an effective form of training to help students use and master Indonesian correctly. Factors that can support the successful delivery of information are the use of media that is displayed in a simple and easy way for students to understand. Digital media that can be used to convey information is the animated film "Larva". The aim of this research is to determine the impact of using the animated larva film media when writing argumentative paragraphs. The method is to make observations first (pre-test) before being given treatment (treatment) and then carry out measurements again (post-test). The research results showed that the post-test score was 77.04 in the experimental class and 60.75 in the control class. The improvement from the post-test results can be concluded that the use of Larva cartoon media influences the ability to write argumentative paragraphs of class IV students at SD Hang Tuah I Belawan for the 2023/2024 academic year. Abstrak Menulis merupakan keterampilan yang jarang mendapatkan perhatian oleh guru, meskipun kegiatan menulis merupakan bentuk pelatihan yang efektif untuk membantu siswa menggunakan dan menguasai bahasa Indonesia dengan benar. Faktor yang dapat mendukung keberhasilan penyampaian informasi yaitu penggunaan media yang ditampilkan dengan sederhana dan mudah untuk dipahami oleh siswa. Media digital yang dapat digunakan untuk menyampaikan informasi adalah film animasi “Larva”. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dampak penggunaan media film animasi larva ketika menulis paragraf argumentatif. Caramya dengan melakukan observasi terlebih dahulu (pre-test) sebelum diberikan perlakuan (treathment) dan kemudian dilakukan pengukuran kembali (post-test). Hasil penelitian didapatkan nilai post-test sebesar 77,04 pada kelas eksperimen dan 60,75 pada kelas kontrol. Peningkatan dari hasil post-test dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media kartun Larva mempengaruhi kemampuan menulis paragraf argumentasi siswa kelas IV SD Hang Tuah I Belawan Tahun Pembelajaran 2023/2024.

Abstract

Character is a foothold of knowledge and skills. Knowledge and skills without the right personality foundation will be misleading and destructive. The character in the form of personality is owned through the educational process. The role of the teacher helps in shaping the character of students by providing examples, ways of speaking or delivering good material, tolerance, and various other related matters. The researcher uses an approach method with training activities in this community service. The conclusion stated that this training was quite successful where the trainees were very enthusiastic in training activities, this was also because each teacher had never received socialization from the government regarding government policies by providing Strengthening Character Education in Schools.

Abstract

Penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah model pembelajaran Course Review Horay (CRH) berpengaruh dikelas V dan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh dari motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) siswa kelas V SD IT PERMATA MEDAN LABUHAN. Rancangan penelitian ini jenis Quasi Eksperimen dengan desain Non-Equivalent Control Group Design pretest-posttest. Populasi penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas V SD IT PERMATA MEDAN LABUHAN T.A 2023/2024, terdiri dari kelas eksperimen yaitu V-B (madinah) dan kelas kontrol V-A (mekah). Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh, dimana semua anggota populasi digunakan sebagai sample. Data dikumpulkan dengan pemberian angket/ kuisioner melalui pengujian independent sample t test dalam statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasilnya menujukkan nilai thitung = 4.113, nilai df = 38, ttabel dengan df = 38 dan α 0.05 yaitu 1.686 artinya nilai thitung > ttabel, sehingga Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Pembelajaran IPA dikelas V SD IT PERMATA MEDAN LABUHAN dikatakan bahwa model pembelajaran Course Review Horay (CRH) mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Abstract This quantitative research uses an experimental method was conducted to determine whether the Course Review Horay (CRH) learning model has an effect in the V grade and has an effect in the V grade and to find out how much influence students learning motivation has on the Natiral Science subject of V grade students at SD IT PERMATA MEDAN BELAWAN. This research design is a Quasi Experimental type with a Non-Equivalent Control Group Design pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were all class V students of SD IT PERMATA MEDAN LABUHAN T.A 2023/2024, which consists of the experimental class V-B (madinah) and the control class V-A (Mekah). The sampling technique uses a saturated sampling technique, where all members of the population are used as samples. Data was collected by giving questionnaires and then analyzed descriptive statistically and inferential statistics with independent sample t test. The result showed t count value = 4,113 with a value of df = 38the the value of ttable with df = 38 and α 0,05 is 1,686, meaning that the tcount > ttable so Ho is rejected and Ho is accepted. In subject Natural Science in V grade at SD IT PERMATA MEDAN LABUHAN, it’s stated thta the Course Review Horay (CRH) learning model has a significant influence on student’s learning motivation.

Abstract

Many students need help understanding the concept of green plants, with low daily test scores and learning motivation. Monotonous and less interactive learning methods bored students, while their practical skills could be improved due to the lack of experimental activities. The quality of science learning also needs to be improved because teachers still need to implement effective, innovative methods. This study aims to assess the learning outcomes of green plant material in fifth-grade students and test the impact of the experimental method on improving these results. The research design used was a one-group pretest-posttest model with 30 students taught using the experimental method. Data were collected through pretest and posttest tests to measure students' understanding before and after applying the experimental method. The results showed that the average student learning outcome before the application of the experimental method was 51.33, while after the application, it increased to 71.33. Hypothesis testing showed that the experimental method positively and significantly affected student learning outcomes, with a t-count value more significant than the t-table (3.571> 2.001). Therefore, the experimental method improves student learning outcomes on green plant material.

Abstract

Penelitian di MIS Fajar Shiddiq bertujuan untuk mengukur dampak metode pengajaran Picture and Picture terhadap pemahaman dan penerapan hak dan tanggung jawab hukum oleh siswa kelas tiga. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dan desain quasi-eksperimental. Ada kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan metode Picture and Picture, dan ada kelompok kontrol yang menggunakan metode yang lebih konvensional untuk mempelajari informasi yang sama. Hasil pembelajaran dievaluasi menggunakan data yang dikumpulkan dari tes awal dan tes akhir. Analisis menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan secara statistik antara kedua kelompok, dengan siswa model Picture and Picture secara signifikan mengungguli kelompok kontrol dalam semua tugas pembelajaran. Peningkatan pemahaman siswa terhadap konten Hak dan Tanggung Jawab merupakan bukti bahwa pendekatan tersebut efektif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran motivasi dan prestasi, serta signifikansi hubungan keduanya pada aktivitas belajar siswa di SDN 101786 pada Tahun Ajaran 2024/2025. Pendekatan digunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 87 siswa kelas IV-VI. Data diperoleh melalui angket yang mengukur motivasi belajar dan nilai rapor yang berfungsi sebagai indikator prestasi belajar. Analisis menggunakan korelasi Pearson Product Moment dan regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya keterkaitan motivasi belajar dengan prestasi akademik, dilihat dari nilai korelasi (r) sebesar 0,862 dan signifikansi (2-tailed) adalah 0,000, yang kurang dari nilai signifikansi 0,05. Koefisien determinasi (r²) adalah 0,743 menandakan penyebab kontribusi motivasi belajar terhadap prestasi akademik adalah sebesar 74,3%. Ini mengindikasikan bahwa peningkatan motivasi siswa akan diikuti oleh peningkatan prestasi belajar mereka. Temuan ini didukung oleh berbagai teori motivasi seperti yang diungkapkan oleh Sardiman dan Carl Rogers, serta hasil penelitian sebelumnya yang menunjukkan pengaruh positif motivasi terhadap pencapaian akademik siswa. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa motivasi belajar memiliki peran penting yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan keberhasilan akademik di sekolah dasar. Peningkatan motivasi belajar menjadi kunci dalam mendukung pencapaian hasil belajar yang optimal.

Abstract

This training aims to enhance teachers' understanding of the concepts of line symmetry and rotational symmetry through the creation of manipulative materials using origami. The activity is conducted as an innovative solution to help students grasp mathematical concepts in a more enjoyable and accessible way. Through a practical and interactive approach, participants are guided to create and use origami as a visual and hands-on learning tool. Using manipulative materials made from origami paper can make math learning more engaging, encouraging students to be more enthusiastic and actively involved. It fosters a fun learning environment and helps students better understand the material. Moreover, this method has proven effective in strengthening students’ understanding of geometric concepts in an enjoyable and applicable manner.

Abstract

The low achievement of Indonesian students in the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) highlights the need for innovative learning models that not only emphasize cognitive aspects but also foster students’ character development. This study aims to develop a Problem Based Learning (PBL) model integrated with Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) and character education to improve the literacy skills of elementary school students. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE development model, which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The study involved 28 fourth-grade students. The research instruments included validation sheets, observation sheets, student and teacher response questionnaires, and literacy tests covering reading, numeracy, science, and digital literacy. The results indicate that the learning model was considered highly valid with an average validation score of 88.5%. The implementation of the PBL-HOTS-Character model significantly improved students’ literacy skills with an average score of 87.5, consisting of reading literacy (88), numeracy (85), science literacy (87), and digital literacy (90). Students’ character education also improved with an average score of 73.4. The two-way ANOVA analysis revealed that the learning model, character education, and their interaction had a significant effect on students’ literacy, with a determination coefficient of 66.1%. In conclusion, the PBL model integrated with HOTS and character education is effective in enhancing literacy skills while strengthening students’ character. This model is highly relevant to support the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum and the realization of the Pancasila Student Profile.
