Abstract

The Mind Mapping type learning method can realize changes, from a teacher-oriented learning approach (teacher centered approach) to a student-oriented learning approach (student centered approach). The aim of this research is to determine the use of the mind mapping method in improving learning outcomes. This research includes classroom action research using three research cycles. The research was conducted at SDN 33 Mataram with a class IIIA sample of 21 students. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that there was an increase in student learning outcomes from the Minimum Completeness Criteria of 60 in the first cycle, the percentage of students who reached the KKM was 52.3%, in the second cycle, the percentage of students who reached the KKM was 71.4%. Likewise, in the third cycle, the percentage of students reached 85.7%. Thus, it can be concluded that there has been an increase in learning outcomes for class III students at SDN 33 Mataram.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan deskripsi sejauh mana  Implementasi  Program PAUD Holistik Integratif  di PAUD LSM Ampenan Kota Mataram yang mencakup perencanaan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan  tekhnik  wawancara, observasi dan dokumnetasi, subjek penelitian berjumlah 9 orang yang terdiri dari 1 orang kepala PAUD, 2 orang guru PAUD, 2 orang narasumber dari tenaga kesehatan dan tokoh masyarakat setempat dan 4 orang tua murid, dengan objek penelitian di PAUD LSM Ampenan Kota Mataram. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa kepala lembaga PAUD LSM telah membuat program perencanaan sesuai dengan petunjuk teknis dan juknis  penyelenggaraan program PAUD Holistik Integratif, berdasarkan hasil observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi bahwa Kepala PAUD LSM telah membuat perencanaan yang di buktikan dengan adanya Dokumen program perencanaan PAUD holistic integrative yang memuat tujuan, proses, dan prinsip perencanaan yang di susun oleh Kepala lembaga dan guru PAUD LSM Ampenan.

Abstract

Education is one of human efforts to improve the dignity and standard of life. This improvement effort is carried out by developing competence, knowledge, attitudes, and the need for education which is the right of all citizens, and this is guaranteed by the 1945 Constitution. Implementing inclusive education is one way to make this happen. District Government Central Lombok, through the Department of Education and Culture, in collaboration with Innovation Indonesia and FKIP UNRAM, is holding a series of workshops, one of which is strengthening teacher competency in selecting and utilizing inclusive education-based learning media. The workshop was held in Gugus 1 Kec. Kopang with a total of 8 elementary schools and 32 lower class teachers as participants. Activities were carried out in October 2019 through workshops and field assistance. The results of the activity show that the objective of the activity was achieved, namely strengthening the competency of elementary school teachers in selecting and utilizing inclusive education-based media in the classroom. The pretest and posttest results show that the teacher's conceptual understanding has increased.

Abstract

Salah satu bidang yang diampu oleh konselor dalam hal ini guru kelas di SD yaitu menangani kesulitan belajar yang dialami siswa. Berbadasar penelitian terdahulu di SDN 1 Kekeri terdapat beberapa,siswa yang menunjukkan gejala kesulitan diantaranya: (1) kesulitan membaca dan memahami isi bacaan; (2) kesulitan menulis; (3),kesulitan berhitung dan operasi matematis; (4) kesulitan memahami pelajaran secara umum; dan,(5) kesulitan siswa fokus dalam pembelajaran. Terdapat salah satu alternatif bagi guru dalam meminimalisir kesulitan belajar siswa yaitu kemitraan dengan orang tua. Faktanya guru di SD Negeri 1 Kekeri belum melibatkan orang tua secara tersetruktur dan terencana. Pelibatan orang tua aasih dilakukan secara insidental,atau apabila ada temuan siswa berkesulitan belajar yang tidak dapat ditangani sendiri oleh guru baru orang tua diajak dan dilibatkan. Bertolak dari hasil penelitian tahun 2023 tersebut, maka tim pengabdian PGSD FKIP Universitas Mataram tergerak untuk memberikan sosialisasi kepada pihak sekolah. Adapun sosialisasi yang dimaksud yaitu memberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman tentang urgensi pelibatan orang tua dalam menangani siswa dengan kesulitan belajar. Untuk mencapai tujuan penyuluhan dan pelatihan seperti yang tersirat dalam judul pengabdian masyarakat ini digunakan beberapa metode, yaitu ceramah, tanya jawab atau diskusi dan pendampingan. Sosialisasi dilaksanakan di SDN 1 Kekeri dengan 16 peserta pada hari sabtu 14 Juni 2024. Untuk mencapai tujuan penyuluhan dan pelatihan seperti yang tersirat dalam judul pengabdian masyarakat ini digunakan beberapa metode, yaitu ceramah, tanya jawab atau diskusi dan pendampingan. Adapun materi utama yang disampaikan yaitu: (1) konsep pelibatan orang tua dalam pendidikan; (2) teknik perencanaan pelibatan orang tua dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajaar siswa; (3) teknik pelibatan orang tua dalam pelaksanaan pembimbingan siswa berkesulitan belajar; (4) teknis evaluasi dan pelaporan pelibatan orang tua dalam upaya mengatasi kesulitan belajar siswa; dan (5) Peer praktik latihan melibatkan orang tuaa secara langsung dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajar siswa SD. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa peserta mengalami peningkatan pengetahuan tentang materi yang disampaikan.

Abstract

This study aims to: find out the principal's leadership strategy in developing student achievement character through student council. This research uses a qualitative approach. The types of data can be divided into two, that are primary data and secondary data. Primary data sources consist of the principal, vice principal for student affairs, school committee, student council coach, and student council members. While secondary data are documents owned by the school where the research was conducted. The data collection techniques used in this research are interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis procedure uses three stages, which are data condensation, data presentation, and conclusions. In order for the data obtained to be valid, researchers checked the validity of the data with five stages, including observation persistence, data triangulation, peer discussion, member checking, and refrential adequacy. The results showed that the principal's leadership strategy was in line with the theories of educational strategy and principal leadership strategy. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk: mengetahui strategi kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam mengembangkan karakter berprestasi siswa melalui OSIS. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Jenis data dibedakan menjadi dua, yaitu data primer dan data sekunder. Sumber data primer terdiri dari kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah bidang kesiswaan, komite sekolah, pembina OSIS, dan anggota OSIS. Sedangkan data sekunder yaitu dokumen yang dimiliki oleh sokolah tempat melakukan penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Prosedur analisis data menggunakan tiga tahapan yaitu kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan. Agar data yang didapatkan benar-benar valid, peneliti memeriksa keabsahan data dengan lima tahapan, yaitu ketekunan pengamatan, triangulasi data, diskusi teman sejawat, pengecekan anggota, dan kecukupan refrensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi kepemimpinan kepala sekolah telah sejalan berdasarkan teori-teori strategi pendidikan dan strategi kepemimpinan kepala sekolah.

Abstract

The implementation of guidance and counseling in elementary schools is the task of the class teacher. This is related to the rare availability of BK teachers or special counselors on duty in elementary schools. In fact, based on the results of observations during the implementation of the research in June-July 2022 at SD Negeri 1 Kekeri, teachers have not implemented BK services optimally. Therefore, the PGSD FKIP Universitas Mataram service team carried out community service with the title "Workshop on the Urgency of Utilizing Innovative Learning Media in Guidance and Counseling in Elementary Schools". To achieve the objectives of counseling and training as implied in the title of this community service, several methods are used, namely lectures, questions and answers or discussions and mentoring. After Community Service. After community service is completed, it is required to meet the targets, namely: (1) mandatory output in the form of one scientific paper in the form of an article in the interactive journal JIP FKIP UNRAM; and (2) additional output in the form of a statement letter on the use of IPTEK by Partners. This workshop was held on Saturday, June 22, 2024 with an interactive and practical approach. Participants were not only given theoretical materials, but also involved in discussions, simulations, and direct practice using learning media. During the workshop, some of the main materials discussed included: basic concepts of guidance and counseling at the elementary school level, the importance of utilizing innovative learning media, types of media that can be used in guidance and counseling, and ways to utilize these media effectively. The results of the pretest and posttest showed that the implementation of the workshop had a positive impact. Participants experienced an increase in understanding of all the materials presented. In addition, during the implementation of the preparation of innovative media and simulations, all participants were actively involved in creating media and practicing them

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the difficulties in learning to write in grade II students at SD Negeri 1 Puyung and to identify the factors causing difficulties in learning to write in grade II. This study used a descriptive qualitative research method using observation, interview and documentation techniques. According to the results of the study, the difficulties in writing in grade II are as follows. The use of capital letters and lowercase letters is still mixed, the size and shape of the letters in the writing are not proportional and inconsistent, it is difficult to hold a pencil firmly. And the following are the factors causing difficulties in learning when starting to write: Factors from students such as slower development compared to peers, IQ, motor development, and cognitive development that may be impaired. External factors that may cause are the lack of support and writing culture from the family as the student's first school.
