Abstract

Usaha rintisan (startup) merupakan entitas bisnis yang menjadi pendorong utama inovasi dan pertumbuhan ekonomi di era digital. Namun, startup sering menghadapi tantangan signifikan dalam keberlanjutan dan pertumbuhan, dengan tingkat kegagalan yang tinggi. Inkubator bisnis hadir sebagai solusi untuk mendukung dan mempercepat pertumbuhan startup melalui penyediaan berbagai bentuk dukungan, seperti akses modal, bimbingan, pelatihan, dan fasilitas fisik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh inkubator bisnis terhadap keberlanjutan usaha rintisan melalui kajian literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa inkubator bisnis memiliki pengaruh positif yang signifikan terhadap keberlanjutan startup, dengan beberapa faktor kunci yang mempengaruhi efektivitasnya. Tantangan yang dihadapi inkubator bisnis juga diidentifikasi, termasuk manajemen keuangan, pemilihan tim manajemen, dan adaptasi terhadap perubahan lingkungan bisnis. Dengan mengatasi tantangan ini, inkubator bisnis dapat meningkatkan efektivitas dalam mendukung ekosistem kewirausahaan lokal.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi di Indonesia, khususnya di bidang komputer, memerlukan sistem informasi yang efektif dalam mengelola data kerjasama di lembaga pendidikan. Universitas Ibnu Sina, sebagai contoh studi, menghadapi tantangan dalam pengarsipan dokumen kerjasama yang masih manual. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang sistem informasi monitoring implementasi kerjasama untuk meningkatkan efisiensi Biro Kemahasiswaan, Alumni, dan Kerjasama (BKAK).penelitian ini mencakup analisis kebutuhan fungsional, perancangan use case diagram, activity diagram, sequence diagram, dan class diagram. Sistem ini diharapkan mempermudah proses monitoring dan mengatasi kendala pengarsipan dokumen manual. Studi ini memberikan solusi teknologi informasi yang relevan dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan organisasi, khususnya dalam konteks pengelolaan kerjasama di lingkungan pendidikan.

Abstract

This research method uses literature study. This technique is carried out by collecting data and reading the data as well as collecting various literature and references related to the research content. Abstract

The increase in energy demand in the industrial era 4.0 has encouraged the transition to renewable energy, but Indonesia's dependence on coal is still high. One of the promising decarbonization strategies is high co-firing technology, which is the mixing of biomass (such as woodchips) with coal in coal-fired power plant boilers. Previous studies have generally focused on the emission and combustion efficiency aspects without delving deeply into the fluid flow characteristics in the furnace. Therefore, this study aims to numerically analyze the characteristics of fluid flow in the combustion process of coal and woodchips mixture in the Circulating Fluidized Bed (CFB) boiler of PLTU UP Sebalang. The methods used are Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulation with Eulerian multiphase model, k-ε turbulence model, and discrete phase for coal particle injection. Simulations were carried out for three fuel variations: 100% coal, 90% coal + 10% woodchips, and 80% coal + 20% woodchips. The results showed that an increase in the proportion of woodchips lowered the average temperature in the furnace from 945°C to 810°C and caused the heat distribution to be uneven. The pressure distribution also decreases as the woodchips fraction increases, with the negative pressure at the cyclone outlet increasing from -310 Pa to -401 Pa. Validation of the simulation results against the field data showed an average deviation of between 2–9%, still within the tolerance limit, although affected by the imperfections of the measuring tool and the limitations of the model on the effects of induced fan drafts.

Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this community service program in Pesawaran Indah Village is to introduce sustainable drying technology powered by Micro-Hydro Power Plants (PLTMH) to improve the efficiency and quality of post-harvest processing in the village's coffee, cocoa, clove, and nutmeg farming sectors. Methodology: The program utilized a community-based approach that involved socializing the benefits of PLTMH-powered drying technology, determining strategic locations for its implementation, and constructing a drying machine with a capacity of 4 x 20 kg. The program also focused on enhancing the community's knowledge of energy sources and drying techniques through workshops and discussions. Results: The program successfully increased community awareness of energy-efficient drying technology, with understanding rising from 20% to 80%. The construction of the drying machine was completed, and the community was encouraged to adopt this technology, which is expected to enhance agricultural product quality, promote sustainable energy use, and empower local farmers. Conclusion: The program effectively introduced a sustainable technology that supports local agricultural practices and promotes the use of renewable energy. The adoption of this technology is expected to benefit the community by improving post-harvest processing and increasing the value of agricultural products. Limitations: The program's scope was limited to a small-scale implementation, and further efforts are needed to monitor its long-term impact on product quality and community adoption. Contribution: This community service program contributes to promoting sustainable agricultural practices and renewable energy use in rural communities, offering a model for enhancing local economic development through appropriate technology.

Abstract

This comparative study evaluates the thermal performance of helix and spiral-shaped receivers in a Parabolic Dish Collector (PDC) system, a renewable energy technology that converts solar radiation into heat by concentrating sunlight onto a receiver. The geometry of the receiver significantly influences heat absorption and system efficiency. Using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations, this research compares temperature distribution, fluid flow velocity, and thermal energy transfer between the two receiver designs. Results indicate that the helix receiver provides more uniform heat distribution and achieves 2.6% higher thermal efficiency than the spiral receiver. However, the spiral receiver exhibits higher central flux and benefits from a simpler design and lower production costs. These findings offer insights into selecting optimal receiver geometries for improved solar energy utilization, supporting the advancement of efficient parabolic solar collector technology in renewable energy applications.
