Abstract

Student characteristics are important attributes in understanding their academic abilities and ways of thinking. In the teaching and learning process, the right learning strategy is very important to implement. According to the Hippocrates-Galenus Typology, personality types are categorized into four categories, including sanguinis, choleric, melancholics, and phlegmatics. The Classification of student characteristics using experience and intuition methods often gives inaccurate results and takes a long time to understand their behavior and way of thinking. In our research, we developed a prototype cognitive system website to classify student characteristics at SD Wijaya Kusuma 02 Semarang. There are several stages of the proposed method, including, communication, rapid planning, rapid design modeling, prototype construction, and delivery & feedback deployment. The C4.5 algorithm is applied as the modeling of student characteristics classification. The results showed a fairly good accuracy of 90.08%. It can be concluded that the C4.5 algorithm can classify student characteristics well.

Abstract

Attention to mental health is increasing in Indonesia, especially with the recent increase in the number of cases of stress and suicide among students. Therefore, this research aims to provide a solution to overcome mental health problems by introducing a chatbot system based on Deep Neural Networks (DNN) and BiDirectional Encoder Representation Transformers (BERT). The primary objective is to enhance accessibility and offer a more effective solution concerning the mental health of students. This chatbot utilizes Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Deep Learning to provide appropriate responses to mild mental health issues. The dataset, comprising objectives, tags, patterns, and responses, underwent processing using Indonesian language rules within NLP. Subsequently, the system was trained and tested using the DNN model for classification, integrated with the TokenSimilarity model to identify word similarities. Experimental results indicate that the DNN model yielded the best outcomes, with a training accuracy of 98.97%, validation accuracy of 71.74%, and testing accuracy of 71.73%. Integration with the TokenSimilarity model enhanced the responses provided by the chatbot. TokenSimilarity searches for input similarities from users within the knowledge generated from the training data. If the similarity is high, the input is then processed by the DNN model to provide the chatbot response. This integration of both models has proven to enhance the responsiveness of the chatbot in providing various responses even when the user inputs remain the same. The chatbot also demonstrates the capability to recognize various inputs more effectively with similar intentions or purposes. Additionally, the chatbot exhibits the ability to comprehend user inputs although there are many writing errors.

Abstract

Pemberdayaan perempuan merupakan strategi dalam meningkatkan peran perempuan dalam mengembangkan potensi diri agar dapat mandiri dan bahkan dapat berkontribusi positif terhadap pendapatan ekonomi dan kesejahteraan keluarga. Program pemberdayaan perempuan dan keluarga dapat melalui pelatihan keterampilan, salah satunya adalah pelatihan digital marketing. Tujuan kegiatan pelatihan digital marketing yakni memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan perempuan maupun ibu-ibu Pemberdayaan Kesejahteraan Keluarga (PKK) agar dapat memotivasi untuk menjadi womenpreneure, bahkan mengembangkan bisnis di era modern. Sasaran kegiatan ini adalah ibu-ibu PKK Kelurahan Meteseh, Kecamatan Tembalang, Semarang. Pelatihan ini diberikan pemahaman secara teori mengenai pentingnya digital marketing dalam meningkatkan visibilitas dan daya saing bisnis. Peserta pelatihan juga melakukan praktik untuk pemanfaatan teknologi digital dalam mempromosikan produk dan jasa. Keberhasilan pelatihan diukur dari peningkatan pengetahuan yaitu mampu menjawab soal dengan benar dengan nilai diatas 81 sebesar 100%, rerata tingkat kepuasan peserta terhadap kegiatan pelatihan sebesar 90%.

Abstract

Over the last decade, the surge in mental health disorders has necessitated innovative support methods, notably artificial intelligent (AI) chatbots. These chatbots provide prompt, tailored conversations, becoming crucial in mental health support. This article delves into the use of sophisticated models like convolutional neural network (CNN), long-short term memory (LSTM), efficiently learning an encoder that classifies token replacements accurately (ELECTRA), and bidirectional encoder representation of transformers (BERT) in developing effective mental health chatbots. Despite their importance for emotional assistance, these chatbots struggle with precise and relevant responses to complex mental health issues. BERT, while strong in contextual understanding, lacks in response generation. Conversely, ELECTRA shows promise in text creation but is not fully exploited in mental health contexts. The article investigates merging ELECTRA and BERT to improve chatbot efficiency in mental health situations. By leveraging an extensive mental health dialogue dataset, this integration substantially enhanced chatbot precision, surpassing 99% accuracy in mental health responses. This development is a significant stride in advancing AI chatbot interactions and their contribution to mental health support.

Abstract

The Clean and Healthy Lifestyle Program (PHBS) is an important program to encourage the implementation of a healthy lifestyle in maintaining, preserving, and improving health. Many diseases can be avoided if the community implements a healthy lifestyle. PHBS is ideal for implementation in school-age children, because they are included in the group at risk for health problems due to several factors. Technology in education has been proven to significantly change the way interaction and learning in the classroom, more efficiently, more easily accessible, and can build the skills needed in the current digital era and in the future. The use of digital applications as one of the products of technology has been widely used in both health and education, and are interrelated with each other where they complement each other. Information on health problems certainly requires the field of education to convey it, and vice versa, education cannot run smoothly if the environment is unhealthy. Thus, the role of technology in both fields is very important. Based on the things mentioned above, it is necessary to provide knowledge to students about PHBS. In addition to being given knowledge, students also need to be given guidance when practicing the PHBS material and including the role of technology in the form of digital applications so that learning can be more enjoyable and effective, where previously it was necessary to conduct socialization and training first regarding the use of the application to the caretakers of the Islamic boarding school. Based on the reasons stated, this time the team took the initiative to hold an activity in the form of Community Service with the theme of PHBS Assistance for Students with Digital Application Socialization, with a predetermined location, namely at the Nurul Istiqomah Al Hira 'Islamic Boarding School, so that PHBS can become a habit for students in their daily lives and can transmit these good habits to their environment.

Abstract

One feared cancer among mothers is cervical cancer. Cervical cancer is a type of cancer that occurs in the cervix of women. Due to its hidden location, women may not be able to detect early on whether they have cervical cancer or not. Meanwhile, this disease ranks among the top three causes of death in Indonesia. To determine early on whether a woman is affected by cervical cancer, various methods are employed. Some search for symptoms on social media, some take preventive measures with various herbal remedies to avoid cervical cancer, and many other actions are taken by women. With the touch of artificial intelligence technology, these issues can be addressed. Therefore, the dedicated team is trying to create an application that can detect cervical cancer. With this application, women can find out early on whether they have or are approaching cervical cancer. Although the accuracy of this application is not 100%, at least women can be aware of the detection of this disease and can promptly seek treatment or prevention. With the existence of this application, it is hoped that it can be beneficial for the mothers of PKK Perum Kandri Persona Asri RT 04 RW 04, who are the subjects of this dedication.

Abstract

Aplikasi berbasis mobile untuk deteksi dini penyakit kulit memiliki potensi besar dalam meningkatkan kesadaran dan pemahaman masyarakat terhadap kesehatan kulit. Program pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi dan sosialisasi terkait pemanfaatan teknologi kecerdasan buatan dalam deteksi dini penyakit kulit kepada mahasiswa dan tenaga kesehatan di STIKES Telogorejo Semarang. Kegiatan ini meliputi pelatihan penggunaan aplikasi, pemahaman dasar tentang teknologi kecerdasan buatan dalam analisis citra medis, serta diskusi interaktif mengenai pentingnya deteksi dini dalam pencegahan penyakit kulit. Metode yang digunakan mencakup presentasi, demonstrasi langsung, serta sesi praktik dengan studi kasus nyata. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta mengenai teknologi deteksi penyakit kulit berbasis AI, serta meningkatnya minat dalam mengadopsi teknologi digital dalam bidang kesehatan. Selain itu, peserta juga memberikan umpan balik positif terkait kemudahan penggunaan dan manfaat aplikasi dalam mendukung diagnosis awal. Kesimpulannya, edukasi dan sosialisasi ini berhasil meningkatkan literasi digital di bidang kesehatan serta mendorong pemanfaatan teknologi dalam layanan medis. Ke depan, pengembangan aplikasi lebih lanjut dan implementasi di fasilitas kesehatan diharapkan dapat semakin meningkatkan kualitas layanan kesehatan berbasis teknologi

Abstract

In the transportation industry, the Internet of Vehicles (IoV) is an advancement of the Internet of Things (IoT), allowing automobiles to connect to networks to provide a range of features. This connectivity transforms traditional vehicles into intelligent systems, fostering innovations like autonomous driving and traffic optimization. However, this increased connectivity exposes IoV to cybersecurity threats, particularly because the networks utilized are often public and lack robust security measures. Cyberattacks targeting IoV can involve data packet modification, traffic flooding, or spoofing, potentially disabling critical vehicle components, compromising passenger safety, and increasing the risk of accidents. Consequently, accurate and efficient attack detection systems are essential to counter these threats and ensure IoV security. This study leverages the CICIoV2024 dataset and applies Principal Component Analysis (PCA) to enhance computational efficiency in detecting IoV attacks. The algorithms employed in this research include Random Forest, AdaBoost, Logistic Regression, and Deep Neural Networks. Experimental results demonstrate that implementing PCA significantly improves computational efficiency across all algorithms while maintaining consistent accuracy and F1-Score, highlighting its effectiveness in securing IoV systems.

Abstract

Pertumbuhan pesat kedai kopi di daerah perkotaan telah meningkatkan permintaan akan solusi layanan pelanggan yang efisien dan personal. Studi ini menyajikan pengembangan dan implementasi chatbot interaktif yang terintegrasi ke dalam situs web kedai kopi menggunakan ChatGPT API untuk memberikan layanan pelanggan otomatis dan rekomendasi produk. Chatbot ini dirancang untuk memberikan respons real-time dan sesuai konteks terhadap pertanyaan pengguna mengenai pilihan menu, jam operasional, lokasi, dan rekomendasi yang dipersonalisasi. Metodologi ini melibatkan pendekatan sistematis mulai dari identifikasi masalah, analisis kebutuhan pengguna, desain sistem, integrasi API, hingga pengujian fungsional menggunakan metode black-box dan User Acceptance Test (UAT). Chatbot memanfaatkan kemampuan pemrosesan bahasa alami untuk memahami dan menanggapi masukan pengguna secara efektif, meningkatkan pengalaman pengguna dan efisiensi operasional. Hasil pengujian black-box menunjukkan semua fitur berfungsi dengan valid, sementara UAT dengan 10 responden pelanggan coffee shop berusia 18-35 tahun menghasilkan tingkat kepuasan 87.2% dengan waktu respons rata-rata dibawah lima detik. Sistem ini mendukung ketersediaan 24/7, yang menawarkan layanan berkelanjutan tanpa campur tangan manusia. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa mengintegrasikan chatbot yang digerakkan oleh AI di situs web kedai kopi tidak hanya menyederhanakan penyampaian informasi tetapi juga berfungsi sebagai alat pemasaran digital yang ampuh, yang mendorong loyalitas pelanggan dan pertumbuhan bisnis.

Abstract

Kesehatan mental menjadi isu penting di Indonesia, terutama pada kalangan remaja, dengan data menunjukkan bahwa 1 dari 20 juta remaja mengalami gangguan mental. Sayangnya, akses terhadap layanan konseling profesional masih sangat terbatas, diperparah dengan tingginya stigma masyarakat terhadap isu kesehatan mental. Kondisi ini memunculkan fenomena self-diagnose yang berisiko memperburuk kondisi psikologis individu. Menanggapi permasalahan ini, kami mengembangkan TaCa (Talk to Calm), sebuah aplikasi mobile berbasis digital untuk mendukung kesehatan mental masyarakat. Aplikasi ini menghadirkan berbagai fitur seperti Chatbot, Kalkulator Kesehatan Mental, Konsultasi Profesional, Mood Tracker, Podcast, dan Artikel Edukasi. Pengembangan aplikasi menggunakan pendekatan metodologi Agile, yang memungkinkan proses adaptif dan iteratif sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna. TaCa diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat mengenai kesehatan mental, memperluas akses terhadap layanan konseling profesional yang berkualitas, serta mengurangi stigma sosial yang selama ini melekat. Inovasi ini juga mendukung pembangunan smart city, khususnya dalam dimensi smart society, dengan memanfaatkan teknologi untuk menjawab permasalahan sosial yang krusial di Indonesia.
