Abstract

Improving the quality of green space and efforts to improve the function of the area in the academic environment must be considered as an integral part of building arrangement activities. This is because the aspects of the building and the environment are inseparable components of settlements, supporting each other in a balanced, harmonious, and harmonious manner. As a campus that applies the concept of “Green Campus”, of course, it wants the quality of its environment to be well maintained even though it has the development of facilities and infrastructure, Universitas Pahlawan must of course also fulfill these provisions. Therefore, it is very necessary to model in planning the Park Green Open Space Planning Model at the Hero University with various considerations that are adapted to regional conditions, land area and benefits that can be enjoyed optimally by the academic community. Environmental Park planning model is carried out by reviewing based on spatial (spatial) and social aspects. The importance of the Environmental Park planning model is due to not applying an appropriate planning model so that direct utilization is not maximally felt by the academic community. This study examines more deeply the relationship between the spatial and social aspects of the environmental park

Abstract

Asbuton is natural asphalt whose use in Indonesia is no stranger. One of the asbuton technologies that has been widely used is pre-mixed asbuton. Pre-mixed asphalt is one type of modified asphalt used in Indonesia. Pre-mixed Asphalt is processed and mixed with Pen 60/70 Asphalt at a factory that meets certain requirements, so that it is equivalent to Modified Asphalt. Premixed Asbuton products have a minimum level of purity of 90%, so they still contain a maximum of 10% fine minerals. This type of processed Pre-mixed Asphalt is the mobile container circulates directly inside the Asphalt Mixing Plant (AMP) boiler without the addition of Asphalt Pen 60/70 to produce Hot Mix Asphalt (Hotmix) which is equivalent to using Modified Asphalt. From the results of testing in the laboratory it was found that the asphalt mixture using pre-mixed asphalt has better technical properties than the conventional asphalt mixture (made using Pen 60/70 asphalt)

Abstract

Activities at sorting stations and boilers are high risk activities. Incorrect body posture, done repeatedly and relying on manual human power causes musculoskeletal disorders (MSDS). This research aims to analyze MSDs disturbances in body parts of workers at sorting  stations and boilers using the Ovako work posture analysis system (OWAS) method. OWAS can identify four body parts in a worker's posture, namely the back, upper arms, legs and weight category. Based on the results of the OWAS assessment, a score of  4144 was obtained at the sorting station, and 4141 at the boiler station. Both scores are in category 4, which means improvements need to be made as soon as possible. The injury risk index reached a value of 400 for both stations, indicating a very high level of danger.

Abstract

As a transportation infrastructure, roads are essentially an important element in realizing economic growth and achieving healthy and dynamic social stability. Therefore, the performance of road sections needs to be considered. Road section performance can be defined as the extent to which the road is able to carry out its function. A survey conducted on 4 different days showed the performance of road sections during peak hours with a traffic volume (V) in the direction of Bangkinang-Payakumbuh of 905 vehicles/hour and in the direction of Payakumbuh-Bangkinang of 840 vehicles/hour, so that the total traffic volume on the Pasar Kuok road section is 1683 vehicles/hour. The total traffic flow (Q) on the Pasar Kuok road section is 1589.9 smp/hour. The capacity (C) on the Pasar Kuok road section is 2523.53 smp/hour. The degree of saturation (DS) of the Pasar Kuok road section is 0.61 while the V/C ratio on the Pasar Kuok road section is 0.64. That the class of side obstacles on the Pasar Kuok road section is very high (VH). It is concluded that the Sumbar - Riau road section, precisely at the Kuok market, experiences a very high saturation point on market days, namely Tuesday due to the activities of the Kuok traditional market. Because of the many vehicles parked on the shoulder of the road, street vendors (PKL) on the roadside and many people passing by on the road.
