Abstract

Digital learning is one of the future lessons, which provides an overview of learning interactions. digital transformation will contribute to learning. However, 40% of Universitas Muslim Nusantara (UMN) Al-Washliyah, Medan, North Sumatra, Indonesia, uses digital learning either through Google, email, or e-books. The aim of developing and producing Step-by-step student worksheets that were prepared by Contextual Teaching and Learning is also the expectation that universities need to be able to achieve the main performance indicators of higher education. The initial problem is that 70% of lecturers do not implement project learning evaluations for students, so that students do not have uniformity in completing project assignments, and students are still at low-level thinking skills. The development of interesting digital multimedia is a solution to solving problems, The research was carried out using the Research and Development method with the ADDIE method. The number of samples was 70 students and 20 lecturers, with a Likert scale questionnaire instrument. The results obtained are known that (1) two factors become the needs of students to achieve higher order thinking skills including the Technical Factors for Completing Project Tasks and Learning Resources Search Factors (2) the lecturer assesses students' higher order thinking skills by using project assignments (3) design digital multimedia through student worksheets using contextual teaching and learning syntax
