Abstract

Salah satu kesenian tradisional yang masih bertahan sampai saat ini adalah Didong, khususnya di tanah Gayo, Aceh. Musik Didong merupakan hasil ekspresi masyarakat Gayo baik ekspresi pribadi maupun ekspresi kelompok sosial masyarakatnya. Musik Didong sangat berpengaruh bagi masyarakat Gayo, sehingga melalui musik Didong dapat mengetahui identitas sosial masyarakat Gayo di Kabupaten Bener Meriah, Aceh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menjelaskan musik Didong sebagai identitas sosial masyarakat Gayo di Kabupaten Bener Meriah, meliputi individu dan kelompok dalam musik Didong. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif interpretatif dengan pendekatan interdisiplin. Pengumpulan data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, serta dokumentasi. Teknik keabsahan data menggunakan teknik triangulasi data. Selanjutnya dianalisis melalui alur interaktif, yakni reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa menandakan identitas dalam musik Didong melalui tepukan, syair, dan kelompok Didong. Musik Didong mengidentitaskan masyarakat Gayo yang berbuat baik terhadap sesama, cinta akan lingkungan sekitar, cinta tanah air, senang akan kedamaian, disiplin, sangat senang bernyanyi, etos kerja, dan kebersamaan. Kata Kunci: Musik Didong, Identitas Sosial

Abstract

The aim of this research is to eleborate and to look for the values which are contained in Tor-Tor Sombah Dance in Simalungun community (North Sumatera). The method that used in this research were qualitative and interpretative research method. The data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The valid data technique uses data triangulation techniques. Furthermore, it is analyzed through interactive channels, namely data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results showed that the Sombah Tor-tor Dance has special values in displaying it, Togetherness Value, Brotherhood Value, and Social Value. Tor-tor Sombah dance is a traditional dance of the Simalungun people, born since the 13th century. Tor-tor Sombah dance consists of head movements, eye sight, hand movements, fingers and steps or stamping of feet. The Tor-tor Sombah dance is accompanied by traditional Batak musical instruments namely Gondrang, Mong-mongan, and Sarunei Bolon. Tor-tor Sombah dance is very safe to discuss with traditional ceremonies, namely rituals and entertainment events at the wedding party. Keywords: Values; Tor-Tor Sombah Dance

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that there are still teachers who do not teach the traditional Ratéeb Meuseukat dance at Almuna Bireuen Kindergarten, which should be very good to teach because there is a knowledge transfer process in learning this dance. Such as character values ​​which are very important in cultivating children's Islamic character and love of their own culture in students at Kindergarten Almuna Bireuen. This research aims to foster Islamic character education in teachers which can then be implemented and transmitted to students through instilling Islamic values ​​from the dance taught. Data collection used were observation instruments, interviews and document studies. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results of the research show that Almuna Bireuen Kindergarten teachers are able to dance the Rateeb Meuseukat Dance and the Islamic character values ​​from the Ratéeb Meuseukat Dance that can be given to students in the learning process at Almuna Kindergarten have been understood so that they are able to foster Islamic character education for students such as aqidah values, worship, morals and muamalah values.

Abstract

This community service activity aimed to create competent teachers in their fields and keeping up with current developments in 6C-based education towards the 21st century. Current learning materials do not focus on mastery of the material but teachers must be able to provide value and character education. This is a current obstacle for teachers, so it is necessary for teachers to understand P5 in strengthening 6C competencies. This community service activity was carried out at Bina Ukhwah Pidie Kindergarten. The method of implementing activities was by providing knowledge of the implications of P5 in strengthening 6C competencies to Bina Ukhwah Kindergarten teachers to make teachers creative, innovative and follow independent learning. The stages of implementing activities were in the form of preparation, implementation and evaluation stages. The results of the implementation of the activities showed that teachers' understanding, creativity and innovation in the field of education in 6C are very important for learning in classes following P5. This community service activity can develop new theories and provide alternative problem solving solutions related to current educational issues, because it is a problem of lacking teacher competence and teachers being unable to realize 21st century learning. In the future, it is hoped that teachers will have the ability to strengthen the 6C competencies in order to create an environment learning based on Pancasila as well as active, creative and innovative learning.
