Abstract

Permasalahan yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini adalah kurangnya pemahaman guruakan penggunaan bahan ajar yang digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran yang mengakibatkan rendahnya motivasi belajar dan self efficacy siswa terhadap materi yang diberikan oleh guru.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis dan mendesain modul ajar IPA berbasis digital terintegrasi Computational Thinking dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan self efficacy siswa tingkat SMP. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan four-D,dalam rancangan ini terdapat empat tahapan yaitu: define, design, develop, dan dissemination.Uji ahliatauvalidasidilakukan oleh 1 orang ahli media yang merevisi produk awals esuai saran para ahli. Uji lapangan kecil dilakukan oleh 20 siswa dan uji lapangan skala besar dilakukan oleh 32 siswakelas IX SMP Negeri 3 Peusangan. Metodepengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dengan observasi, wawancara, dan angket. Instrumen penelitiannya berupa panduan observasi, panduan wawancara, dan angket. Hasil penelitian pengembangan ini berupa produk modul ajar IPA terintegrasi Computational Thinking yang telah diuji kelayakannya oleh ahli media, siswa sebagai pengguna media tersebut. Keseluruhan hasil uji coba menunjukkan hasil yang baikyaitu memperoleh kategori sangat layak dengan rincian : (1) uji ahli materi mendapatkan hasil 80,25% sangat layak, (2) uji ahli media mendapatkan hasil 85,75% sangat layak, (3) uji skala kecil oleh siswa memperoleh hasil 83% sangat layak, (4) uji skala besar oleh siswa memperolehhasil 85,75% sangat layak. Berdasarkan hasil uji kelayakan media tersebut maka dapat simpulkan bahwa modul ajar IPA terintegrasi Computational Thinking sangat layak untuk digunakan sebagai bahan ajar untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan self efficacy siswa

Abstract

This community service activity aimed to create competent teachers in their fields and keeping up with current developments in 6C-based education towards the 21st century. Current learning materials do not focus on mastery of the material but teachers must be able to provide value and character education. This is a current obstacle for teachers, so it is necessary for teachers to understand P5 in strengthening 6C competencies. This community service activity was carried out at Bina Ukhwah Pidie Kindergarten. The method of implementing activities was by providing knowledge of the implications of P5 in strengthening 6C competencies to Bina Ukhwah Kindergarten teachers to make teachers creative, innovative and follow independent learning. The stages of implementing activities were in the form of preparation, implementation and evaluation stages. The results of the implementation of the activities showed that teachers' understanding, creativity and innovation in the field of education in 6C are very important for learning in classes following P5. This community service activity can develop new theories and provide alternative problem solving solutions related to current educational issues, because it is a problem of lacking teacher competence and teachers being unable to realize 21st century learning. In the future, it is hoped that teachers will have the ability to strengthen the 6C competencies in order to create an environment learning based on Pancasila as well as active, creative and innovative learning.

Abstract

The development of digital technology and the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in education require students to have adequate digital literacy competencies and ethical use of AI. However, various studies show that Indonesian students still face challenges in understanding data security, information verification, and the ethical boundaries of using AI-based technology. This community service activity aims to improve students' digital soft skills through digital literacy and AI ethics workshops, implemented in stages and collaboratively by lecturers from Malikussaleh University, Almuslim University, and the Kebangsaan Islamic University of Indonesia. A total of 100 students participated in the activity, which was divided into three waves to ensure effective interaction and mentoring. The activity methods included an initial survey, digital literacy training, case study-based AI ethics discussions, practices for responsible AI use, and four weeks of intensive mentoring. Evaluation results showed significant improvements in digital literacy, understanding of AI ethics, information verification skills, and digital security awareness. The average student score increased from 58.1 in the pre-test to 83.4 in the post-test, and 76% of participants demonstrated changes in more ethical behavior in using AI. This activity proves that a phased and collaborative training model is effective in strengthening students' digital competencies in the era of artificial intelligence.
