Abstract

Production is influenced by a combination of many factors including land area, fertilizer, distribution of varieties, labor and capital availability. This study aims to analyze whether the variable of land area, width of the spread of varieties and capital (DPM-LUEP) significantly influence the corn production in North Sumatra Province. The data used in this study used secondary data starting from 2011 to 2015. Secondary data consisted of data of land area, extent of distribution of varieties and capital grant (DPM-LUEP) in 7 (seven) Regency of corn production center. Secondary data is obtained from Food and Livestock Service Department of North Sumatera Province, Food Crops and Horticulture Agency and related Institution which is deemed appropriate. The method of analysis used in this study using multiple regression method. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that the overall model of maize production is estimated to give significant result, because independent variables are land area, area of spread of varieties and capital that is observed significant with real level α = 5%. The observed variables are compatible with their theoretical expectations.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to reveal whether changes in eating habits in laying ducks had a negative influence on the continuity of egg production. Keywords: superior fruits, production value, worthiness. The study was conducted in Batu Bara District by conducting a survey of 35 (thirty-five) breeders in nine villages in three sub-districts. The breeders that are used as the object of research are breeders with intensive and traditional maintenance patterns. This type of research is descriptive quantitative research and the data used are primary data. The method used in data collection uses survey methods through questionnaires. Analysis of the data used in this study is a simple linear regression analysis. The results of this study are changes in eating habits negatively affect the continuity of duck egg production. This explains that there is an opposite relationship between changes in duck eating habits to the continuity of egg production.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the maturity level of oil palm fresh fruit bunches (FFB) that enter the Palm Oil Mill (POM). If the maturity level of FFB changes (not standardized), the company's income will change. This research method uses a quantitative approach, the type of research is secondary data collection. Data were obtained from POM of Rambutan PTPN III with garden samples, namely the Raja Tanah Gardens, Sei Putih, Sarang Giting, and Rambutan. The data collected is secondary data in the form of data series, namely FFB production, CPO, Core and Revenue in 2016 - 2018. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression, optimization and two different test averages. The results showed that the composition of harvested fruit had a very significant effect on CPO and core production. Optimizing the maturity of the fruit harvest will significantly increase the production of palm oil and palm kernel. The average palm oil production that can be optimized from the realization in accordance with the fruit maturity criteria is 4,734.16 tons or 11.04%. The average palm kernel production that can be optimized from the realization in accordance with the fruit maturity criteria is 1,091.31 tons or 11.54%. Optimizing the maturity of harvested fruit will significantly increase revenues from palm oil and palm kernel. The average income that can be optimized from optimizing palm oil production is Rp. 38,862.51 million or 11.14%. The average income that can be optimized from optimizing the production of Palm Oil is Rp. 7,350.05 million or 11.57%

Abstract

Undang-Undang Nomor 7 Tahun 2017 tentang Pemilihan Umum telah meneguhkan eksistensi dan peran Badan pengawas pemilihan umum tidak hanya sekedar melakukan pengawasan pemilihan umum, melainkan bertindak sebagai lembaga yang berwenang dalam menyelesaikan sengketa proses pemilihan umum, baik sengketa antar peserta pemilihan umum maupun antar peserta dengan penyelenggara pemilihan umum. Pada tulisan ini mengangkat permasalahan kedudukan kekuatan hukum dari putusan Badan Pengawas Pemilihan Umum Provinsi Sumatera Utara No. 002/LP/PL/ADM/PROV/02.00/V/2019. Metode penelitian yang dipergunakan adalah yuridis normatif, dalam hasil disimpulkan bahwa Putusan Badan Pengawas Pemilihan Umum Provinsi Sumatera Utara No. 002/LP/PL/ADM/PROV/02.00/V/2019 telah berkekuatan hukum tetap karena terhadap putusan tersebut tidak dilakukan upaya hukum oleh Komisi Pemilihan Umum Provinsi Sumatera Utara dan Komisi Pemilihan Umum Kabupaten Nias Barat sehingga keputusan tersebut menjadi final dan mengikat serta putusan yang dilahirkan oleh Badan Pengawas Pemilihan Umum memiliki sifat eksekutorial.

Abstract

This study examines the dynamics of inter-institutional relations among the executive, legislative, and judicial branches in Indonesia during the second term of President Joko Widodo, focusing on the implementation of the check and balanceprinciple. Employing a library research method, the study analyzes secondary sources such as academic journals, news reports, official documents, and public statements to assess the effectiveness of institutional oversight mechanisms. The findings indicate a growing imbalance of power, with executive dominance, weakened legislative oversight, and reduced judicial independence. Political consolidation and the revision of key laws have further reinforced this trend. Overall, the check and balancemechanism has not functioned effectively during this period, raising concerns about the state of democracy and the rule of law in Indonesia.
