Abstract

This study aims to analyze students' understanding of concepts in the material of momentum and impulses using research-based learning (RBL) models. This type of research is quantitative research with a descriptive approach. The population in this study were students of class XI of SMA 3 Bireuen, the subjects in this study were students of class XI2 of SMA 3 Bireuen as many as 30 students. The results of this study indicate that 30 students in class XI2. 53.3% of students in the category understood the concept, 20% students in the guessing category and 26.7% students in the don't understand the category. This shows students will better understand the concepts of momentum and impulses by using research-based learning models.

Abstract

Online learning is learning that is applied by all educational institutions today. The use of appropriate media can support student effectiveness in education, especially in applied physics courses. This study aims to see online learning's effectiveness using quizizz educational media during the covid-19 pandemic in applied physics courses. This research uses a descriptive research method. The population in this study were students of the Almuslim University Physics Education Study Program. The sample selection used a purposive sampling method, namely students who were taking applied physics lectures. The data collection techniques used were tests (quizzes) and questionnaires. This study indicates that quizizz educational game media is one of the most effective online learning media used during the Covid-19 pandemic in applied physics courses.

Abstract

Abstrak: Salah satu komponen profesionalisme guru adalah mampu menulis karya ilmiah. Dimana kegiatan ini tidak saja perlu dilakukan dalam rangka memperolah angka kredit untuk kenaikan jabatan atau untuk keperluan akreditasi akan tetapi merupakan salah satu kemampuan yang wajib dimiliki oleh guru. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan profesionalisme guru SD N 9 Peusangan Selatan melalui pelatihan penulisan karya ilmiah berbasis literasi sains. Metode yang digunakan adalah pelatihan dan pendampingan. Kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan penulisan karya tulis ilmiah berbasis literasi sains ini di ikuti oleh guru-guru SD Negeri 9 Peusangan Selatan berjumlah 17 orang. Kegiatan pengabdian ini terdiri atas dua sesi. Sesi pertama yaitu pelatihan dan sesi kedua pendampingan dalam penulisan karya tulis ilmiah berbasis literasi sains untuk menghasilkan draft artikel yang siap dipublikasi. Kegiatan pelatihan dilakukan selama satu minggu (4 kali tatap muka). Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini mampu meningkatkan pemahaman guru-guru SD Negeri 9 Peusangan Selatan tentang penulisan karya tulis ilmiah, hal ini dilihat dari peningkatan nilai rata-rata pretes dan postes sebesar 34,12 serta mampu meningkatkan profesionalisme guru SD Negeri 9 Peusangan Selatan, dilihat dari jumlah draft karya tulis ilmiah yang dihasilkan setelah pengabdian dilakukan.Abstract: One of the components of teacher professionalism is being able to write scientific papers. This component is not only aimed to obtain credit points for promotion or for accreditation purposes, but also to be one of the abilities that must be mastered by teachers. The purpose of this community service was to develop the teachers professionalism of SD N 9 Peusangan Selatan through training in writing scientific papers based on scientific literacy. The method used in this service community was training and mentoring. The training and mentoring activities for writing scientific papers based on scientific literacy were attended by 17 teachers of SD Negeri 9 Peusangan Selatan. This service activity consisted of two sessions. The first session was training and the second session was mentoring in scientific writing based on scientific literacy to produce draft articles ready to be published. The training activities were carried out for one week (4 face-to-face meetings). This community service activity was able to increase the understanding of the teachers of SD Negeri 9 Peusangan Selatan about writing scientific papers. It can be seen from the increase in the average value of the pretest and posttest which obtained 34.12 and it was able to increase the professionalism of the teachers of SD Negeri 9 Peusangan Selatan due to number of drafts of scientific papers produced after the service was carried out.

Abstract

This study uniquely explores the enhancement of students' creative thinking skills through the application of Project-Based Learning (PjBL) in media and learning resource development courses, addressing a critical gap in contemporary educational methodologies. The research employed a quasi-experimental design at Almuslim University within the Basic Education Study Program (PGSD). The sample included 3rd semester PGSD students, with 29 students in the experimental group (class 3f) and 29 in the control group (class 3e), selected using purposive sampling. Utilizing a Posttest Only Control design, data were collected through observation and tests. Validity was ensured through content and empirical checks, and data analysis involved normality, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis testing using SPSS 23.0 software. The findings indicate a significant improvement in students' creative thinking skills as a result of implementing the PjBL model in media and learning resource development courses. The experimental group demonstrated enhanced critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving abilities compared to the control group. These results underscore the efficacy of PjBL in fostering essential 21st-century skills among students. The structured, hands-on approach of PjBL not only engages students actively but also encourages collaborative learning and innovative thinking. The application of PjBL in media and learning resource development courses significantly enhances students' creative thinking skills. This study's implications extend to broader educational contexts, suggesting that integrating PjBL can effectively prepare students for future challenges by promoting critical, creative, and collaborative skills essential for success in a rapidly evolving world.

Abstract

Whereas residents can still exploit the potential of other natural resources wasted in the village. One of them is coffee skin waste. Through this activity, the team provided training and mentoring to the people of BenerMeriah Village to be able to utilize coffee skins into coffee skin briquettes as alternative fuels. Training activities and assistance in making coffee skin briquettes to the community are carried out through certain stages. Conduct counseling about empowering coffee skin waste into coffee skin briquettes, followed by making coffee skin briquettes together. From the results of the dedication, it was obtained that thecommunity was able to utilize coffee skin waste as an alternative fuel.

Abstract

Creative thinking skills (KBK) are important for students to understand concepts as a whole so they can interpret learning concepts well in order to make students successful in their learning process so they can obtain better learning outcomes. CPS is a learning model that has an influence on KBK because of its advantages, namely making it easier for students to solve problems, design an invention, and evaluate the results of the invention. The aim of this research is to determine the increase in students' KBK through the implementation of the CPS learning model. This research is a type of quasi-experimental research with a quantitative approach with a one group pretest-posttest design. This research uses a saturated sampling technique where the population and sample in this research are all class IV students at SD Negeri 1 Kuala totaling 23 students. The instrument used in this research is a test instrument which is prepared based on CBC indicators. Data analysis using SPSS version 23. The results show a Sig value. < 0.05, namely 0.00, thus Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, it can be concluded that there is an increase in students' KBK through the implementation of the CPS learning model.

Abstract

Seiring perkembangan zaman, keberadaan jeungki sudah mulai sulit ditemukan. Sistem kerja jeungki merupakan penerapan kerja pesawat sederhana, dan mencakup salah satu alat yang memudahkan dalam bekerja seperti menumbuk, sehingga dengan mempelajari ilmu pengetahuan yang juga merupakan penerapan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari serta bagian dari kebudayaan, siswa secara tidak langsung akan memahami konsep pesawat sederhana. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menilai peningkatan tingkat pemahaman konseptual siswa dalam mengaplikasikan metode pembelajaran berbasis etnosains pada topik pesawat sederhana. Penelitian ini memanfaatkan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan instrumen berupa soal dan lembar observasi. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, tes pemahaman konsep dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan, penerapan pembelajaran berbasis etnosains pada materi pesawat terbang sederhana dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa, hal ini juga terlihat dari nilai rata-rata pada siklus I pemahaman konsep siswa sebesar 42% dengan kategori rendah, dan pada siklus II terjadi peningkatan nilai rata-rata pemahaman konsep siswa meningkat menjadi 75% dengan kategori baik.

Abstract

Virtual Reality (VR) adalah salah satu teknologi baru yang mulai banyak digunakan dalam pembelajaran. VR menawarkan pengalaman belajar yang imersif, interaktif, dan menyeluruh dengan menciptakan simulasi dunia tiga dimensi yang memungkinkan siswa untuk berinteraksi dengan objek dan situasi yang sulit diakses dalam kehidupan nyata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran yang lebih jelas tentang peran Virtual Reality sebagai media pembelajaran di era digital dan bagaimana teknologi ini dapat mendukung terciptanya proses belajar mengajar yang lebih efektif, menyenangkan sesuai dengan perkembangan teknologi yang semakin pesat. Metode yang digunakan adalah kajian literatur dan analisis terhadap berbagai penelitian tentang aplikasi VR yang diterapkan di berbagai bidang pendidikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa VR dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konseptual, keterampilan praktis, dan motivasi belajar siswa, serta memberikan pengalaman belajar yang lebih menarik dan menyenangkan. Meskipun demikian, tantangan terkait biaya, infrastruktur, dan keterbatasan konten pendidikan masih menjadi hambatan yang perlu diatasi agar VR dapat digunakan secara optimal dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the extent to which the mathematical critical thinking skills of class X MAS Darul Ulum Alwaliyyah female students have improved on quadratic function material using the Discovery Learning learning model. The subjects taken in this research were 16 class X female students for the 2023/2024 academic year. This research approach is qualitative with the type of classroom action research. Data analysis techniques carried out in this action research include tests, interviews, and observations of teacher activities and student activities by 2 observers. According to the results of data analysis, it was found that the learning outcomes of female students in cycle I were 75%, and then there was an increase in cycle II, namely 88%. Meanwhile, the level of student activity in cycle I was 84.65% and there was an increase in cycle II to 88.16%. Teacher activity in cycle I was 83.33%, and teacher activity in cycle II increased to 85.33%. Based on this, it can be concluded that the mathematical critical thinking skills of class. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswi kelas X MAS Darul Ulum Alwaliyyah pada materi fungsi kuadrat menggunakan model pembelajaran  Discovery Learning. Subjek yang diambil pada penelitian ini adalah siswi kelas X tahun Pelajaran 2023/2024 yang berjumlah 16 orang. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan pada penelitian tindakan ini diantaranya tes, wawancara, serta pengamatan terhadap aktivitas guru dan aktivitas siswa oleh 2 orang observer. Menurut hasil analisis data diperoleh bahwa hasil belajar siswi pada siklus I sebesar 75%, dan kemudian terjadi peningkatan pada siklus II yaitu sebanyak 88%. Sedangkan tingkat aktivitas siswa pada siklus I sebanyak 84,65% dan terjadi peningkatan pada siklus II menjadi 88,16%. Aktivitas guru pada siklus I sebanyak 83,33%, dan aktivitas guru pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 85,33%. Berdasarkan hal tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswi kelas X MAS Darul Ulum Alwaliyyah pada materi fungsi kuadrat dapat lebih meningkat setelah diajarkan menggunakan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning.

Abstract

This study presents a systematic literature review (SLR) of blockchain applications in educational credentialing, with a particular emphasis on teacher professional development and governance. While most existing research focuses on higher education credentials, this review highlights the limited exploration of blockchain in teacher credentialing, despite its significant potential to address persistent challenges such as credential fraud, data fragmentation, and slow verification processes. Guided by the PRISMA 2020 framework, the review synthesizes 27 peer-reviewed studies published between 2019 and 2025. The findings reveal that blockchain’s core features —immutability, verifiability, and decentralization —can transform credential governance from a “trust-by-institution” model to a “trust-by-design” system. This paradigm shift enables tamper-resistant records, cross-institutional verification, and transparent audit trails, thereby enhancing accountability. The study makes three key contributions. Theoretically, it extends the literature by systematically consolidating knowledge on the role of blockchain in teacher credentialing, offering a novel perspective on its governance implications. Practically, it provides concrete recommendations for policymakers, institutions, teachers, and technology developers, with relevance for developing countries. In the Indonesian context, blockchain integration with systems such as SIMPKB, SISTER, and PDDikti is proposed as a pathway toward more transparent, accountable, and competency-based teacher management. Finally, the review identifies future research directions, including empirical pilot studies, cross-country comparisons, ethical frameworks for data privacy, and cost-benefit analyses of adoption in resource-constrained settings. Overall, this study highlights blockchain not only as a technological innovation but also as a governance strategy that can strengthen trust, accountability, and transparency in teacher credentialing systems.
