Abstract

Abstract:  Clay sediment group is one of the dominant sediments in Balikpapan City area which belongs to Balikpapan Formation (tmbp) and Kampung Baru Formation (tpkb) located in the Lower Kutai Basin. The study aims to determine the origin of clay sediments of Balikpapan city by geochemical data. The research methods conducted are the megascopic description, measuring Section, and geochemical analysis. The lithofacies of claystone units in the study area are massive claystone facies (Fm) and lenticular lamination claystone (Clt) which indicate that the sediments originate from Transition - Delta deposition environments. The value of the SiO2/Al2O3 ratio in the clay sediments of Balikpapan City ranges from 0.34 - 0.56 % which indicates that the level of clay composition in the samples is high. The cross plot between the Al2O3/SiO2 and Fe2O3 + MgO percentages indicates that the clay sediments in Balikpapan City are influenced by the oceanic arc zone. This is related to the phase of delta formation process continuing during the Middle Miocene period to the present which is characterized by an increasing volcanic activity.Abstrak: Kelompok sedimen lempung merupakan salah satu sedimen yang dominan di wilayah Kota Balikpapan yang termasuk kedalam Formasi Balikpapan (tmbp) dan Formasi Kampung Baru (tpkb) yang berada di Cekungan Kutai Bawah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui asal sedimen lempung Kota Balikpapan berdasarkan data geokimia. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan berupa metode deskripsi megaskopis, data log lintasan terukur dan analisis geokimia. Litofasies satuan batulempung pada daerah penelitian terdapat massive claystone facies (Fm) dan lenticular lamination claystone (Clt) yang mengindikasikan sedimen tersebut berasal dari lingkungan pengendapan Transisi – Delta. Nilai rasio SiO2/Al2O3 pada sedimen lempung wilayah Kota Balikpapan berkisar antara 0.34 – 0.56 % yang mengindikasikan bahwa tingkat komposisi lempung pada sampel tersebut tinggi. Plot silang antara persentase Al2O3/SiO2 dan Fe2O3 + MgO mengindikasikan bahwa sedimen lempung pada wilayah Kota Balikpapan dipengaruhi oleh zona busur samudera (oceanic arc). Hal tersebut berkaitan dengan fase proses pembentukan delta berlanjut selama periode Miosen Tengah hingga saat ini yang ditandai dengan kenaikan aktifitas volkanik.

Abstract

Artificial Lift is an artificial lift method that is useful for increasing the pressure on the fluid so that it can flow to the surface. This method is used when the natural pressure of the well is no longer able to lift the fluid to the surface optimally. In the "W" well, artificial lift types have been installed, namely Gas Lift and Electrical Submersible Pump, but along with the production process the ability of the pump well will also decrease due to a decrease in pressure, so that optimization and redesign are necessary. The “W” well located in the “WP” field is considered necessary for optimization by redesigning the Electrical Submersible Pump. The redesign method is done by changing the type of method used to the Wiggins method. From the results of the Electrical Submersible Pump (ESP) design, it shows that the optimum flow rate obtained is 1560.8 bpd. Meanwhile, the type of pump used in the "W" well is REDA AN1500, which has an efficiency of 44%, while the motor used is a series 540 ( 30 HP, 435 volts, 45 A). The cable used is type 4 CU with a transformer with a size of 3 x 50 = 150 KVA and a DPH type 2 witchboard size 3. After selecting the components used, the next step is to calculate the total voltage from the results obtained. A total voltage value of 333.75 volts is still smaller than the available voltage, which is 600 volts, so you can be sure the pump can work properly.

Abstract

Productivity or commonly called productivity index (PI) in a well will decrease. Marked by a decrease in reservoir pressure (Pr), well flowing pressure (Pwf) and rate (Q) in the "Jose-1" well also decreased due to deposits (Scale) formed in the production zone, thus inhibiting Pr, Pwf and Q. Therefore, the solution that can be done to overcome this problem is well stimulation. The purpose of well stimulation in the "Jose-1" well is to overcome the deposits (Scale) formed so that Q increases. The deposits (Scale) formed can be identified by formation water parameters using several methods, one of which is the Stiff and Davis method with the Scaling Index (SI) parameter obtained. The stimulation method used is the matrix acidizing method, the success parameters of the matrix acidizing method can be seen from the Inflow Performance Relationship (IPR) parameters before and after as well as the PI before and after. This Final Assignment writing is done using manual calculations via excel. Based on the results of the analysis carried out, the "Jose-1" well experienced a decrease in pressure and production flow rate caused by CaCO3 deposits (Scale), proven by the SI value parameters using the Stiff and Davis method where SI> 0 (Tends to precipitate or precipitate CaCO3) which is 1.13 and a skin value of 12.5. After acid injection was carried out on the well, the oil rate (Qo) from 90 bopd increased to 144,539 bopd.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis rata-rata ukuran lubang bor (Average Hole Size) pada sumur Sonos A15 serta mengevaluasi kebutuhan aktual volume semen berdasarkan hasil perhitungan hidraulik dan geometri lubang bor. Data diperoleh dari laporan lapangan serta hasil pemantauan oleh Mud Engineer dan tim Mud Logging. Analisis dilakukan terhadap konfigurasi casing, open hole, dan rangkaian pipa (Bottom Hole Assembly/BHA) dengan menggunakan pendekatan matematis berbasis volume silinder dan efisiensi pompa. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa diameter aktual lubang bor mengalami pelebaran dari 8.5 inci (ukuran bit) menjadi 8.88 inci. Akibatnya, volume ruang annulus meningkat dan berdampak pada bertambahnya kebutuhan semen dari nilai teoritis sebesar 33.38 bbl menjadi 44.75 bbl. Perbedaan ini menegaskan pentingnya evaluasi aktual ukuran lubang dalam perencanaan program penyemenan untuk menghindari kekurangan slurry saat operasi berlangsung.
