Abstract

Postpartum mothers are afraid to do many movements. If mothers do early ambulation, it can facilitate the process of uterine involution. This research is aim to clear out the effect of puerperal gymnastic on the uterine involution process to postpartum mothers. It uses a quasi-experiment design and Pretest and posttest control group design. The sampling technique uses an accidental sampling technique. The instrument in this study is the observation sheet, leaflet, andgymnastics guide.Statistical test using the Mann Whitney test. Before performing puerperal gymnastic, the average of the Fundal Height (Tinggi Fundus Uteri) of the intervention group was 10.9 cm, and the average of Fundal Height of the control group was 10.9 cm. The statistical test obtained p-value=0.457, which means there is no difference in the average the Fundal Height between the intervention group and the control group. Whereas after childbirth exercise, the average of Fundal Height of the intervention group was 0.9 cm, and the average of Fundal Height of the control group was 7.3 cm. Statistical test obtained p-value <0.001.To sum up, there is an effect of puerperal exercise on uterine involution speed. Suggestions for Puskesmas Kampung Baru, especially the midwives, are to provide postpartum gymnastics services for postpartum mothers to accelerate uterine involution.

Abstract

Introduction: Pharmacological and non-pharmacological techniques are methods used to reduce labor pain. Non-pharmacological techniques in the form of distraction by listening to the murottal Al-Qur'an can be an option. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of murottal Al-Qur'an therapy on reducing the intensity of labor pain during the 1st active phase. Method: The type of research used in this study was Pre Experiment, one group pretest-posttest research design. The population in this study were mothers who gave birth at the first stage of Sriwati PMB with a sample of 15 people. The pain was measured using the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS). Statistical analysis used the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test with a confidence level of 95% (α = 0.05). The result of the statistical test, the value of p=0.001, which means that there is a significant difference in labor pain in women who give birth before and after listening to the Murottal Al-Qur'an. It is suggested to do non-pharmacological techniques to listen to Murottal Al-Qur'an as one of the techniques to reduce the first stage labor pain at PMB Sriwati.

Abstract

Introduction: The incidence of anemia in women is 27.2% higher than men, 20.3%, mostly in the age group 15-24 years. The decrease in hemoglobin levels is caused by low intake of iron and other nutrients as well as the menstrual process. The coverage of giving blood tablets in Sigi Regency in 2019 was 81.25%. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of giving green bean juice and blood-added tablets to increase hemoglobin levels in adolescent girls. Methods: Quasi-experimental research method with pretest-posttest control group design method. The population is young women aged 12 to 16 years with a total of 32 respondents. The research was conducted in the working area of ​​the Kinovaro Health Center. Results: The results of Hb levels in adolescent girls after being given the intervention of mung bean juice and added tablets are 2 g/dl with a p-value of 0.022, which means that there is a significant difference before and after giving green bean juice and blood-added tablets to the increase in hemoglobin levels of adolescent girls. Conclusion: Giving mung bean juice and blood-added tablets had a significant effect on increasing hemoglobin levels in adolescent girls. Suggestions are giving green beans and blood-added tablets once a week is very beneficial for young women in overcoming anemia.

Abstract

Introduction: Only 7–13% of women say they need help or advice to overcome problems regarding sexual satisfaction; 40% of women do not even seek help from a doctor for their sexual complaints. Meanwhile, 54% reported that they only wanted to find a solution to the problem of sexual satisfaction without actually doing it. Purpose: to determine the effect of counseling on postpartum women's sexual satisfaction in the Puskesmas Kamonji working area. Method: The research was conducted in July–August 2023 with a one-group pretest-posttest design and a sample size of 49 women who had babies aged 2–6 months. Using the Wilcoxon consecutive sampling analysis technique. The results before being given counseling showed that 42.9% of respondents were sexually satisfied, but after being given counseling about sexual satisfaction, 57.3% of respondents felt sexually satisfied (p-value<0.001). Conclusion: There is a significant difference in sexual satisfaction before and after providing counseling about sexual satisfaction to respondents. It is recommended that health facilities provide counseling about providing for sexual needs periodically, from pregnancy to the postpartum period, and involve the roles of husband and family.
