The flash flood disaster hit Galumpang Village, Aung Village and Bajungan Village in Tolitoli Regency, Central Sulawesi on Wednesday morning 23 March 2022. Due to the large number of victims of flash floods and the urgent needs of victims of flash floods, the Civitas Academic of Poltekkes Kemenkes Palu provided humanitarian aid for victims of flash floods in Tolitoli Regency, Central Sulawesi. Humanitarian assistance in the form of ready-to-eat food, rice, Toothpaste, Soap, Sunlight, Shampoo, Sweetened Condensed Milk, Tea, Sugar, Bucket, Dipper, Mask and Pampers Children under two. The assistance was handed over by the Chief Community Service Officer to the Head of Galumpang Village on April 1, 2022 at the Disaster Management Command Post in Galumpang Village, Dakopamean District, Tolitoli Regency, Central Sulawesi. The flash flood victim’s community as beneficiaries have received assistance from the Poltekkes Kemenkes Palu Academic Community through Community Service activities. ABSTRAK Bencana banjir bandang telah menghantam Desa Galumpang, Desa Aung dan Desa Bajungan di Kabupaten Tolitoli, Sulawesi Tengah pada Rabu dini hari tanggal 23 Maret 2022. Oleh karena besarnya jumlah korban banjir bandang dan kebutuhan korban banjir bandang yang mendesak, maka Civitas Akademika Poltekkes Kemenkes Palu memberikan bantuan kemanusiaan korban banjir bandang di Kabupaten Tolitoli Sulawesi Tengah. Bantuan kemanusian berupa makanan siap saji, beras, Pasta Gigi, Sabun, Sunlight, Shampoo, Susu Kental Manis, Teh, Gula Pasir, Ember, Gayung, masker dan Pampers Baduta. Bantuan diserahkan oleh Ketua Pelaksana Pengabdian Masyarakat kepada Kepala Desa Galumpang pada tanggal 01 April 2022 di Posko Induk Penanggulangan Bencana Desa Galumpang Kecamatan Dakopamean Kabupaten Tolitoli, Sulawesi Tengah. Masyarakat korban banjir bandang sebagai penerima manfaat telah menerima bantuan dari Civitas Akademika Poltekkes Kemenkes Palu melalui kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat.

The prevalence of stunting in Sigi Regency showed an increase from year to year by 27.67% to 40.7%. The problem of stunting is a multidimensional problem that requires efforts from all parties to overcome it. One of the activities that can be done is to provide assistance to families with health problems or families at risk of stunting so that families can identify, assess, and take action independently accompanied by health workers. The implementation of this activity starts from 22-28 October 2022 in Beka Village, Marawola District. The socialization of the activity was attended by 50 people consisting of the village government, community leaders, PKK women, posyandu cadres, and target families. The targets of this activity are families with stunted children, pregnant women, teenagers/productive age, or breastfeeding mothers. His service activities include measuring body length/height, counseling on stunting, providing additional food, providing developmental stimulation, assisting cadres in filling out KMS, and KB MKJP education for mothers. The results of this activity program were very well appreciated by the local government, there was a change in knowledge about stunting, families who received assistance were very accepting of this activity and realized the importance of preventing stunting from the First 1000 Days of Life (HPK). It is hoped that this activity can take place continuously, families and communities can be independent in preventing stunting. ABSTRAK Prevalensi stunting di Kabupaten Sigi menunjukkan kenaikan dari tahun ke tahun sebesar 27,67% menjadi 40,7%. Masalah stunting merupakan masalah multidimensional sehingga butuh upaya dari semua pihak untuk mengatasinya. Salah satu kegiatan yang bisa dilakukan adalah melakukan pendampingan kepada keluarga dengan masalah kesehatan atau keluarga dengan risiko stunting sehingga keluarga bisa mengenali, menilai, dan melakukan tindakan secara mandiri yang didampingi oleh tenaga kesehatan. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini dimulai dari tanggal 22-28 Oktober 2022 di Desa Beka Kecamatan Marawola. Sosialisasi kegiatan dihadiri 50 orang yang terdiri dari pemerintah desa, tokoh masyarakat, ibu PKK, kader posyandu, dan keluarga sasaran. Sasaran dari kegiatan ini adalah keluarga yang memiliki anak stunting, ibu hamil, remaja/usia produktif, atau ibu menyusui. Kegiatan pengabdiannya berupa pengukuran panjang badan/tinggi badan, penyuluhan tentang stunting, pemberian makanan tambahan, pemberian stimulasi perkembangan, pendampingan kader dalam pengisian KMS, dan edukasi KB MKJP kepada ibu. Hasil dari program kegiatan ini sangat diapresiasi dengan baik oleh pemerintah setempat, adanya perubahan pengetahuan tentang stunting, keluarga yang mendapatkan pendampingan pun sangat menerima dengan baik kegiatan ini dan menyadari pentingnya pencegahan stunting dari 1000 Hari Pertama Kehidupan (HPK). Diharapkan kegiatan ini dapat berlangsung secara kontinyu, keluarga dan masyarakat bisa mandiri dalam pencegahan stunting.

Abstrak: Lempeng Eurasia, Indo-Australia, dan Pasifik, yang merupakan tiga lempeng paling aktif di dunia, yang terletak negara Indonesia dan Negara-negara lainnya. Lebih dari 80% bencana yang terjadi di indonesia antara januari 2018 hingga oktober 2019 merupakan bencana hidrometeorologi, yakni puting beliung, tanah longsor, dan banjir. Kabupaten Sigi merupakan salah satu kabupaten yang berpotensi rawan bencana, 53 kejadian bencana alam terjadi antara tahun 2018 hingga 2021. Sehingga tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah Untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan masyarakat desa Bega dalam kesiapsiagaan bencana dan evakuasi mandiri di tingkat keluarga. Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan di Desa Beka Kabupaten Sigi dengan jumlah peserta sejumlah 16 orang terdiri dari kader, pemuda karang taruna dan ibu – ibu PKK. Metode yang digunakan pada pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah sosialisai dan praktik. Hasil pengabdian masyarakat ini ditinjau dari analisis kuesioner sebelum (Pre-Test) dan sesudah sosialisai (Post-Test), yaitu terjadi peningkatan tingkat pengetahuan masyarakat dari 6,25% menjadi 93,75% terkait dengan evakuasi mandiri pada saat terjadi bencana.Abstract: The Eurasian, Indo-Australian, and Pacific plates, which are the three most active plates in the world, are located near Indonesia and other countries. Over 80% of the disasters that occurred in Indonesia between January 2018 and October 2019 were hydro-meteorological disasters, namely tornadoes, landslides, and floods. Sigi Regency is one of the regencies that is potentially prone to disasters, with 53 natural disaster events occurring between 2018 and 2021. Therefore, the goal of this community service is to enhance the knowledge and skills of the Bega village community in disaster preparedness and self-evacuation at the family level. This community service is conducted in Beka Village, Sigi Regency, with a total of 16 participants from the general public. The method used in this community service is socialization and practice. The results of this community service, as reviewed from the pre-test and post-test questionnaires, show an increase in the community's knowledge level from 6,25% to 93,75% regarding self-evacuation during disasters.

Perawat dituntut agar terus berupaya meningkatkan daya saing dan keunggulan kompetitif, menguasai pengetahuan dan keterampilan keperawatan sesuai dengan perkembangan zaman serta memiliki kemampuan menerapkan nilai profesionalisme perawat. Nilai profesionalisme merupakan pondasi dasar yang harus dimiliki perawat dalam memberikan pelayanan keperawatan. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan self efficacy dan motivasi calon perawat dalam menerapkan nilai profesionalisme perawat, sebagai upaya meningkatkan mutu pelayanan keperawatan. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui webinar, diikuti sebanyak 52 orang, berasal dari tiga institusi pendidikan Ners di Indonesia, yaitu Poltekkes Kemenkes Palu sebanyak 34 orang (65,38%), Universitas Muhammadiyah Bengkulu sebanyak 14 orang (26,92%) dan Stikes Yahya Bima NTB sebanyak 4 orang (7,69%). Kegiatan dilakukan melalui tiga tahapan, yaitu: persiapan kegiatan, penyampaian materi tentang Kode Etik Keperawatan dan Perilaku Caring dan diakhiri dengan evaluasi pasca kegiatan. Hasil kegiatan webinar didapatkan bahwa kegiatan berjalan lancar, peserta webinar sangat antusias dalam menyimak materi yang disampaikan. Hasil evaluasi bahwa peserta webinar merasa lebih percaya diri dan termotivasi untuk menerapkan nilai-nilai profesional dalam memberikan pelayanan keperawatan. Peserta webinar berharap kegiatan pembinaan sikap profesionalisme perlu dilakukan secara rutin dan berkesinambungan bagi mahasiswa, sehingga calon perawat memiliki self efficacy dan karakter yang kuat terhadap pilihan karirnya sebagai perawat dan selalu termotivasi untuk menjadi perawat profesional.

Patient safety is a global health problem and is a very complex health issue that involves many parties. Factors that influence the increase in unsafe patient incidents in hospitals include a weak patient safety culture. Indifference to patient safety causes harm to patients and hospitals. In order to overcome this, the role of leaders as key figures is needed to foster a patient safety culture. With transformational leadership, it is hoped that people will be able to demonstrate a visionary attitude and have the ability to convince others to make changes, prioritize common interests, and motivate other people or groups to achieve goals. To determine the knowledge and skills of all Heads of the Room in implementing a spiritual-based transformational leadership model before and after the workshop. This study used a quasi-experimental method, namely a pre-test and post-test, with a population of 72 ward heads in type B hospitals throughout Central Sulawesi. The number of samples in this study was 40 people, and the results were obtained using the accidental sampling formula. This study was conducted from January to September 2024 in type B hospitals throughout Central Sulawesi. Data analysis was performed using the Wilcoxon test, which showed an increase in scores on the knowledge and skills variables before and after the workshop, with an average of 20.50, with a significance value of p-value for both knowledge and skills variables of 0.000 <0.05.. There is an influence of the workshop on increasing the knowledge and skills of the Head of the Room in implementing the spiritual-based transformational leadership model before and after the workshop. to obtain more complex results, further research needs to be conducted using the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) method..

This study aims to analyze the role of Human Resources (HR) education in improving the competence and commitment of health cadres. Using a qualitative case study design, this study involved six health cadres and three service recipients as informants. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using NVivo 12 Plus. The results of the study show that health cadres have a high level of commitment, both in terms of affective, sustainable, and normative commitments, despite limited facilities and suboptimal rewards. The community recognizes the important role of cadres in maintaining their health, but there is a real need to improve cadres' medical knowledge and technical skills. Human resource education has been proven to improve cadre competence, but continuous training and facility improvements are still needed to support cadre performance. This study identifies that a positive attitude of cadres, openness to criticism, and good social relations with the community are key factors in improving the quality of health services. The implications of these findings are the importance of a more structured HR education strategy and adequate facility support to ensure sustainability and optimal quality of health services at the community level.

This research aims to formulate a sustainable food security strategy that focuses on the distribution, marketing, and pricing of rice in Tojo Una-Una Regency. The research sample consisted of 82 respondents, including extreme poor households (deciles 1 and 2), rice traders, and local government agencies. The analysis method used is SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) to identify strategic positions and QSPM (Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix) to prioritize strategic alternatives. The results of the analysis show that the food security strategy is positioned in Quadrant II (Strength-Threat), which indicates that the diversification strategy is most suitable. Based on the QSPM analysis, priority strategies are: (a) increasing access to safe and nutritious food through market interventions, (b) strengthening BULOG's role in ensuring sustainable rice availability, (c) maintaining supply and price stability, (d) controlling the Highest Retail Price (HET), and (e) ensuring effective government food distribution and reserves.

This study aims to analyze the influence of work motivation and work environment on employee performance from the perspective of educational management, particularly in public libraries as non-formal educational institutions. Employee performance is a crucial element in educational management because it directly affects the quality of public services, learning resources, and literacy development in the community. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire consisting of 25 items measured with a Likert scale and distributed to library employees. The data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis to test the partial and simultaneous effects of work motivation and work environment on employee performance. The results show that work motivation has a significant positive effect on employee performance, while the work environment also shows a significant influence in supporting employee effectiveness and productivity. Simultaneously, work motivation and work environment make a substantial contribution to improving employee performance. These findings imply that educational management in non-formal institutions should prioritize human resource management strategies, particularly through strengthening motivation systems and creating a conducive work environment, to improve organizational performance and support sustainable educational services.

This study aims to analyze the role of Human Resource Management (HRM) in improving educational quality in elementary schools. The research applies a qualitative case study approach to explore HRM practices, including teacher allocation, learning process management, leadership roles, and teacher performance evaluation. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation involving principals and teachers, and analyzed using data condensation, data display, and verification techniques. The findings reveal that teacher allocation is relatively adequate, although continuous evaluation is still required. The learning process is implemented in a structured manner, yet still faces challenges in instructional variation and learning support. The principal plays an important role in providing direction and motivation through meetings, supervision, and mentoring, although consistency remains an issue. Teacher performance evaluation is conducted regularly, but follow-up actions need improvement. The study implies that effective HRM contributes significantly to educational quality improvement by strengthening teacher performance and school management systems. It also provides practical insights for improving leadership consistency, instructional quality, and evaluation effectiveness in schools, while highlighting the need for broader future studies across different educational contexts.

This study examines the effect of work discipline and the happiness index on employee performance at the Department of Education, Youth, and Sports of Tojo Una-Una Regency. A quantitative survey method with an associative approach was used, involving 60 proportionally random-selected respondents from a population of 182 employees. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS version 25. The results show that both work discipline and the happiness index simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, with an R² value of 0.327. Partially, work discipline (p = 0.025) and the happiness index (p = 0.003) also have a significant effect. These findings indicate that improving employee discipline—such as compliance with working hours and task responsibilities—and enhancing psychological well-being can increase productivity and work effectiveness. The practical implication highlights the importance of human resource management strategies focused on discipline and emotional well-being to improve public sector performance.
