Abstract

ABSTRAK Wabah Corona Viruses Diseases 19 (Covid-19) merupakan permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh pemerintah Indonesia, bahkan global sejak akhir Tahun 2019. Wabah ini telah menulari berbagai aspek kehidupan, termasuk pendidikan. Pendidikan di Indonesia mengalami perubahan yang signifikan. Sejak diumumkannya kasus pertama pada bulan Maret 2020, sekolah di Indonesia mulai ditutup dan berganti sistem dari luring (offline) menjadi daring (online). Perubahan yang cepat ini tentunya menjadi kejutan sendiri di dunia pendidikan seperti Perguruan tinggi (PT) termasuk Universitas Syiah Kuala. Berbagai kegiatan akademik mulai dialihkan menjadi sistem daring, bahkan administrasi akademik diubah menjadi sistem daring. Hal ini menjadi suatu shock-wave bagi mahasiswa maupun dosen yang menjadi civitas akademika. Suatu hal yang menarik untuk diteliti bagaimana dampak yang terjadi pada mahasiswa sebelum dan sesudah terjadi pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian terdahulu mengenai dampak perkuliahan daring saat pandemi Covid-19 bagi mahasiswa di Indonesia melalui sistematik review menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran daring masih membingungkan mahasiswa; mahasiswa menjadi pasif, kurang kreatif dan produktif, penumpukan informasi/konsep pada mahasiswa kurang bermanfaat, mahasiswa mengalami stress, serta peningkatan kemampuan literasi bahasa mahasiswa. Dampak pandemi Covid-19 bagi mahasiswa ini terjadi pada sisi nilai, keuangan, jam belajar, dan tingkat stres. Dampak ini dianalisis menggunakan perbandingan dengan menggunakan metode uji-t 2-sampel antara data dengan dan tanpa menggunakan skor propensitas. Hasil perbandingan ini terlihat bahwa terjadi penurunan dari sisi nilai selama pandemi Covid-19. Perubahan dan dampak bagi mahasiswa sebelum dan sesudah pandemi Covid-19 juga terjadi pada sisi keuangan, dan tingkat stres yang dialami mahasiswa. ABSTRACT The Corona Virus Diseases 19 (Covid-19) outbreak is a problem faced by the Indonesian government, even globally, since the end of 2019. This outbreak has infected various aspects of life, including education. Education in Indonesia is experiencing significant changes. Since the first case was announced in March 2020, schools in Indonesia began to close and the system changed from offline to online. This rapid change is certainly a surprise in the world of education such as universities (PT) including Syiah Kuala University. Various academic activities have begun to be transferred to an online system, even academic administration has been changed to an online system. This became a shock-wave for students and lecturers who are part of the academic community. It is an interesting thing to examine the impact on students before and after the Covid-19 pandemic. Previous research regarding the impact of online lectures during the Covid-19 pandemic for students in Indonesia through a systematic review shows that online learning is still confusing for students; students become passive, less creative and productive, the accumulation of information/concepts in students is less useful, students experience stress, and students' language literacy skills increase. The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on students is in terms of grades, finances, study hours and stress levels. This impact was analyzed using a comparison using the 2-sample t-test method between data with and without using the propensity score. The results of this comparison show that there has been a decline in value during the Covid-19 pandemic. Changes and impacts on students before and after the Covid-19 pandemic also occurred on the financial side and the level of stress experienced by students.

Abstract

This community service activity is motivated by several things. First, the number of students who use sarcastic language style, both on social media and in daily life. Second, students' impoliteness in communicating in the school environment, with colleagues, class seniors, and teachers. Third, students begin to have difficulty distinguishing the placement of language use, which language can be used in formal or informal situations. Fourth, many students are not able to filter information properly so some of them spread false information (hoaxes) and hate speech. Based on these reasons, training is needed that aims to improve students' understanding of various languages in an effort to prevent hate speech. The method used in this community service is the lecture, training, and dialogical method. The lecture method is used to convey material related to filtering information and using good language in social media. The training method is carried out by involving participants directly to identify and correct sentences that are not in accordance with norms and violate the ITE Law. Meanwhile, the dialogical method was applied in overcoming the problems experienced by the participants during the training. The targets in this training are students of SMAN 2 Dewantara. The benefit of this training is to increase students' understanding of various languages as an effort to prevent hate speech. Not only that, students will be more familiar with the ITE Law and be wiser in using language on social media.

Abstract

Musholla merupakan tempat beribadah umat islam. Musholla mengalami perkembangan pesat, baik dalam pembangunan maupun fungsi dan peranannya. Membuat musholla yang nyaman identik dengan bangunan yang luas dan biaya pembangunan yang besar. Namun dengan menggunakan matematika, biaya pembangunan yang cukup besar dapat diminimumkan. Program linier merupakan salah satu metode yang digunakan untuk meminimumkan atau memaksimumkan. Pada penelitian ini yaitu mencari biaya minimum dari pemasangan keramik pada Musholla. Metode yang akan untuk mencari biaya minimumnya yaitu dengan menggunakan metode Karush-Kuhn-Tucker (KKT). Metode KKT merupakan salah satu metode yang digunakan untuk menentukan titik minimum dari suatu fungsi tujuan dan kendala tanpa memperhatikan sifat linier atau nonlinear. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, biaya minimum pemasangan keramik Musholla Gapang Sabang sebesar Rp. 19.211.800, lebih kecil dari biaya RAB yang ada yaitu sebesar Rp. 22.651.584.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis jenis serta makna dari bullying verbal yang ada dalam komentar di platform media sosial Instagram. Metode penelitian ini menerapkan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan analisis data menggunakan metode pembaca markah terhadap 50 komentar dari akun @cnnindonesia yang dikumpulkan melalui teknik simak bebas libat cakap (SLBC), catat dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian mengidentifikasi empat kategori bullying verbal: (1) sarkasme berupa ejekan kasar, seperti komentar “kyk pengemis aja”, (2) panggilan menghina yang merendahkan, seperti komentar “si linglung”, (3) sindiran bernada negatif, seperti komentar “tambah rajin buang sampah sembarangannya ya”, dan (4) komentar rasis berbasis stereotip, seperti komentar “last scene a white woman with black boi, white woman always make me disappoint”. Analisis semantik menunjukkan makna leksikal dan kontekstual yang mencerminkan emosi, negatif, kritik sosial, serta bias rasial. Temuan penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa bullying verbal di Instagram dapat menciptakan lingkungan digital yang tidak aman, serta berpotensi memberikan dampak yang negatif terhadap pola komunikasi masyarakat karena bertentangan dengan fungsi bahasa yang seharusnya menjadi alat komunikasi dan interaksi antar bangsa. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 2 by reviewing aspects of objectives, principles, methods, and evaluation. The background of this research is the importance of PAI in forming students who not only understand religious material theoretically, but are also able to internalize and practice it in daily life. This research uses a qualitative approach with literature study methods and content analysis. Data were obtained from school documents, observation of learning activities, and relevant literature. The results of the study show that the implementation of PAI in MIN 2 runs according to the established procedures, by prioritizing scientific principles, monotheism, practice, and habituation of noble morals. The learning methods used are diverse, including group work, discussions, simulations, role-playing, and the use of contextual media. Learning evaluation is carried out comprehensively through written, oral, and practical tests, and emphasizes the achievement of students' cognitive, affective, and psychomotor competencies. Overall, the results of the study show that the implementation of PAI learning at MIN 2 is effective in helping students understand and internalize the values of Islamic teachings. Thus, the learning model applied in MIN 2 can be a reference in the development of PAI learning at the elementary level.

Abstract

Stock market volatility is a crucial factor in investment decision-making. This study analyzes the volatility of the LQ45 Index, one of Indonesia's major stock indices, using the Generalized Autoregressive Conditional Heteroskedasticity (GARCH) model and assesses risk through the Value-at-Risk (VaR) method. The data consists of daily closing prices of the LQ45 index from 2020 to 2024. A GARCH(1,1) model is used to estimate the conditional variance dynamically, and VaR is calculated at the 95% confidence level. The results show that the GARCH(1,1) model effectively captures volatility dynamics, with the highest daily VaR recorded at 3.21% during the first quarter of 2020. The novelty of this study lies in the explicit integration of the mathematical formulation of GARCH with VaR estimation in the context of the Indonesian stock market, particularly the LQ45 index, which is rarely addressed in pure mathematical finance literature. This approach contributes to the development of stochastic financial models and provides a quantitative framework for investment risk management.
