Abstract

The Independent Curriculum is one of the steps taken by the Ministry of Education and Culture in realizing the profile of Pancasila students. Various trainings and educational socialization have been carried out by the government. However, it seems to escape that in addition to formal education there is also education called informal education, namely children's education at home. Which parents are the teachers. To support government programs in realizing the profile of Pancasila students, parents should also take their role in shaping the love of the country for their children. Parents certainly need to be educated about what things will be done with their children. In line with this, researchers conducted research on optimizing the role of parents in shaping the love of the homeland to realize the profile of Pancasila students which is the goal of the current independent curriculum.

Abstract

This research examines the effects of implementing the Secure Online Safe Exam Browser (SEB) in English semester exams for undergraduate students in the Accounting program at Universitas Pembangunan Panca Budi (UNPAB). The study seeks to evaluate how SEB impacts students' perceptions regarding ease of use, performance, expectations, and social influence within the context of English language learning. A purposive sampling method was applied, focusing on active students from the 2021, 2022, and 2023 cohorts who used SEB in their English courses. Data were gathered via a structured questionnaire containing Likert-scale items to measure various independent variables alongside the dependent variable of semester exam performance. The results aim to shed light on SEB's effectiveness as a tool for enhancing English language assessment, thereby supporting improved academic outcomes in the Accounting program. This study underscores the importance of integrating technology into educational assessments and its potential to enrich students' learning experiences.

Abstract

This research focuses on the development of UI/UX design for a web-based digital library specifically designed for high school students, using the Figma application as the primary tool. Digital libraries are essential for providing quick and easy access to educational resources; however, many platforms still lack user-friendly interfaces and can be difficult to navigate, which may limit students' access to learning materials. By adopting a simpler, more responsive, and intuitive UI/UX design approach, students are expected to better utilize digital libraries, thereby enhancing their motivation to learn. Figma enables a more collaborative and efficient design process, allowing designs to be tested and refined according to user needs. Through this research, the digital library is expected to become a more engaging and accessible learning resource, while contributing to improved interface design innovation in the digital education sphere.

Abstract

Fenomena anak-anak Generasi Z yang terbiasa dengan kemudahan teknologi namun cenderung individualistis membutuhkan keseimbangan pengetahuan dan keterampilan sebagai dasar sumber daya manusia yang unggul untuk menjawab perubahan zaman. Mengembangkan keterampilan kesantunan verbal melalui self-dwelling berbasis pengetahuan adalah suatu keharusan. Siswa generasi Z kurang sopan dari sebelumnya. Hal ini tercermin dari ungkapan dan kalimat yang kita gunakan saat mengungkapkan pendapat dan perasaan kita melalui media sosial. Kebiasaan mahasiswa masa kini yang sering kita dengar, baca, dan lihat adalah mudahnya mereka mengeluarkan kata-kata kasar dan ujaran kebencian, terkadang dibarengi dengan bumbu persahabatan yang miris. Fenomena ini menunjukkan penurunan kesantunan linguistik yang tidak hanya terkait dengan pilihan kata dan frase tetapi juga konvensi sosial global dan informasi yang mempengaruhi budaya, khususnya nilai kesantunan. Pada akhirnya, mereka memiliki aturan kebahasaan yang dianggap otoritatif, terlepas dari aturan kebahasaan yang sebenarnya.Subyek survei ini adalah siswa SMKN 7 Medan.dan bagaimana mendokumentasikannya. Hasil penelitian ini adalah isi pembelajaran sopan santun, cara menghargai dan mencintai, cara berbicara benar, cara mengucapkan pujian, cara menyapa dan menyapa, cara memberi komentar, cara mengungkapkan perasaan simpati, cara meminta maaf, cara hingga Cara penggunaan bahasa nonverbal, semua itu disampaikan dalam model animasi agar murid SMKN 7 lebih menyukai dalam kegiatan aktivitas belajar kesantunan berbahasa.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa SMA Negeri 1 Sunggal mengenai desain antarmuka pengguna (UI) dan pengalaman pengguna (UX) aplikasi dengan menggunakan platform desain Figma. Kegiatan sosialisasi dilakukan melalui sesi interaktif yang meliputi bincang-bincang, tanya jawab, dan demonstrasi langsung penggunaan Figma untuk merancang prototipe aplikasi. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh siswa-siswa yang aktif terlibat dalam sesi interaktif. Evaluasi yang dilakukan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman siswa mengenai konsep desain UI/UX dan kemampuan mereka dalam menggunakan Figma. Hasil yang dicapai berupa peningkatan keterampilan desain digital siswa, terbentuknya komunitas belajar, serta minat yang meningkat terhadap dunia desain aplikasi. Diharapkan, kegiatan ini dapat merangsang minat siswa dalam mengembangkan keterampilan desain digital untuk masa depan yang lebih inovatif.

Abstract

Abstract: The rapid development of information technology has encouraged government institutions to digitize their work systems, including payroll and employee attendance management. The Sirapit Subdistrict Office still utilizes a manual system in processing attendance and payroll, which may lead to recording errors, process delays, and lack of data transparency. This study aims to design and develop a web-based payroll and employee attendance information system by implementing the Feature Driven Development (FDD) method. FDD was chosen because it breaks down system development into measurable and manageable small features, facilitating gradual development, testing, and team collaboration. The FDD stages applied in this study include developing an overall model, building a features list, planning by feature, designing by feature, and building by feature. The result of this research is a web-based system that can manage employee attendance data in poeriodic, generate automated payroll reports, and provide a user-friendly interface for both administrators and employees. The system is also equipped with attendance history and digital payslip features. Testing was conducted using the black box testing method, and the results showed that all system functions operate as expected. The implementation of the FDD method has proven effective in accelerating the development process and enhancing system quality. With the presence of this system, it is expected that the administrative processes at the Sirapit Subdistrict Office will become more efficient, accurate, and transparent. Keyword: Feature Driven Development (FDD), Information System, Payroll, Attendance, Web-Based, Sirapit Subdistrict Office Abstrak: Perkembangan teknologi informasi yang pesat mendorong instansi pemerintahan untuk melakukan digitalisasi sistem kerja, salah satunya dalam pengelolaan penggajian dan absensi pegawai. Kantor Camat Sirapit masih menggunakan sistem manual dalam proses absensi dan penggajian, dimana dapat berpotensi menimbulkan kesalahan pencatatan, keterlambatan proses, serta kurangnya transparansi data. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun sistem informasi penggajian dan absensi pegawai berbasis web dengan menerapkan metode Feature Driven Development (FDD). Metode FDD dipilih karena mampu memecah pembangunan sistem menjadi fitur-fitur kecil yang terukur dan mudah dibangun secara bertahap, sehingga mempermudah dalam pengujian. Tahapan FDD yang digunakan meliputi pembangunan model keseluruhan, pembuatan daftar fitur, perencanaan berdasarkan fitur, perancangan berdasarkan fitur, dan pembangunan berdasarkan fitur. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sistem informasi berbasis web yang mampu mengelola data kehadiran pegawai secara berkala, menghasilkan laporan penggajian secara otomatis, dan menyediakan antarmuka yang mudah digunakan oleh admin maupun pegawai. Sistem juga dilengkapi dengan fitur histori absensi dan slip gaji digital. Pengujian dilakukan menggunakan metode black box testing dan mendapatkan hasil bahwa seluruh fungsi sistem berjalan sesuai dengan yang diharapkan. Penerapan metode FDD terbukti efektif dalam mempercepat proses pembangunan serta meningkatkan kualitas sistem. Dengan adanya sistem ini, diharapkan proses administrasi kepegawaian di Kantor Camat Sirapit menjadi lebih efisien, akurat, dan transparan. Kata kunci: Feature Driven Development (FDD), Sistem Informasi, Penggajian, Absensi, Web, Kantor Camat Sirapit

Abstract

This study aims to design a prototype of a guidance and counseling system using the Human-Centered Design (HCD) method. This method is applied to ensure that the system developed focuses on the needs and experiences of users, particularly students and counselors in educational settings. The research process includes stages of user needs exploration, concept design, prototype development, and evaluation involving end users. The result is a web-based system prototype that is intuitive, facilitates counseling services efficiently, and enhances interactions between students and counselors. Preliminary evaluations indicate that the system effectively meets user needs and has the potential to improve the quality of guidance and counseling services. This prototype is expected to serve as an initial step in developing a more comprehensive system to support educational services.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem absensi pegawai universitas berbasis web yang memanfaatkan teknologi GPS (Global Positioning System) sebagai metode verifikasi lokasi. Sistem ini dirancang untuk mempermudah proses absensi pegawai yang dapat dilakukan secara otomatis dan akurat berdasarkan lokasi geografis. Penggunaan GPS memungkinkan pengawasan yang lebih efektif terhadap kehadiran pegawai, memastikan bahwa absensi dilakukan hanya ketika pegawai berada di area yang telah ditentukan, seperti area kampus. Sistem ini terdiri dari aplikasi berbasis web yang terintegrasi dengan perangkat GPS pada smartphone pegawai, serta database yang menyimpan data absensi dan lokasi secara real-time. Diharapkan dengan adanya sistem ini, manajemen kehadiran pegawai dapat dilakukan dengan lebih efisien, mengurangi manipulasi absensi, dan meningkatkan transparansi serta akuntabilitas di lingkungan universitas.

Abstract

Stunting is a target of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically within the second goal of eliminating hunger and all forms of malnutrition by 2030. This study aims to assess the influence of midwives, cadres, and family support on mothers' behavior in preventing stunting in toddlers in the UPT Puskesmas Jiput area. Using a quantitative analytical approach with a cross-sectional design, the study examines the relationships between these variables. The results show that the role of cadres significantly affects stunting prevention behavior in toddlers, with a p-value of 0.049. Family support also plays a crucial role, as indicated by a p-value of 0.021. Additionally, maternal motivation is significantly linked to stunting prevention behavior, with a p-value of 0.033. The study concludes that the roles of midwives, cadres, and family support significantly influence mothers' efforts to prevent stunting in toddlers. These findings highlight the importance of collaboration between healthcare workers, families, and the community in stunting prevention.

Abstract

The tourism industry, when viewed from a cultural perspective, indirectly has a significant role in the development of Indonesian culture. The rapid growth of the tourism industry allows interaction between tourist visitors and local communities in the tourist area. This allows tourists to understand and appreciate the local culture and cultural background of the local community. Language and literature have an important role in preserving local wisdom and introducing it to the public or readers. In the context of local wisdom, it is important to understand the history and development of Indonesian life. The understanding of local characters and values has always been the focus of attention in every era and generation that contributed to the journey of this nation. The research method used is descriptive quantitative method with data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires, documentation and interviews, the data analysis used is the data analysis technique according to Milles and Huberman. The results of the research For the development of local wisdom-based tourism in Pematang Serai, it is necessary to have a more detailed plan in the form of a masterplant for local wisdom-based tourism development in strengthening the character and economy of the Pematang Serai Village community. In practice, language and literature are able to strengthen positive local values in the thoughts and feelings of the Indonesian people. language is able to become a filtering tool or filtering influences from outside.Development of tourism based on Language, Literature, Multimedia and Local Wisdom in Pematang Serai Village can be done with three dimensions: the dimensions of geol (getek online) beaches and marine and Culture / Customs and Beliefs.
