The role of teachers in fostering spiritual intelligence is very necessary to be associated with education or the process of teaching and learning activities, because it can be one way out of the problems faced in today's modern era, given the moral decadence of students, such as lack of concern for fellow friends, to low devotion to God. This study aims to describe the role of MI Nurul Ummah fifth grade teachers in fostering students' spiritual intelligence. The research method used a descriptive qualitative approach with interview techniques to class teachers and principals. The results showed that the teacher's role includes program planning, managing spiritual activities, and providing motivation through habituation activities such as reading Asmaul Husna, praying dhuha, reciting the Qur’an, to calligraphy and hadroh extracurricular activities. The conclusion shows that the role of teachers is very important in internalizing spiritual values through routine activities at school.ABSTRAKPeran guru dalam membina kecerdasan spiritual sangat diperlukan untuk dikaitkan dengan pendidikan atau proses kegiatan belajar mengajar, karena dapat menjadi salah satu jalan keluar dari permasalahan yang dihadapi pada era modern saat ini, mengingat adanya dekadensi moral peserta didik, seperti kurangnya kepedulian terhadap sesama teman, hingga rendahnya ketaqwaan kepada Tuhan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran guru kelas V MI Nurul Ummah dalam membina kecerdasan spiritual siswa. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik wawancara kepada guru kelas dan kepala sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peran guru mencakup perencanaan program, pengelolaan kegiatan spiritual, serta pemberian motivasi melalui pembiasaan kegiatan seperti membaca Asmaul Husna, sholat dhuha, mengaji, hingga ekstrakurikuler kaligrafi dan hadroh. Kesimpulan menunjukkan peran guru sangat penting dalam menginternalisasi nilai-nilai spiritual melalui kegiatan rutin di sekolah.
