Abstract

In implementing PkM-BR AI-falah As-sunniyyah university of Kencong Jember, students are required to increase their sense of sensitivity to the community and analyze what is happening in the community. and inorganic (chemical) pesticides can cause wear and degradation of agricultural land. This damage can interfere with land function and soil fertility, thus affecting the sustainability and value of the land. This condition, if left unchecked for a long time, can cause the quality and productivity of farmers to decline. One that can be applied as well as an effort to achieve sustainable development goals is through changing the inorganic (chemical) planting system to an organic planting system. In the future, and finally able to improve the standard of living of farmers' welfare, indirectly the use of organic fertilizers applied to farmers answers the objectives of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that have been proclaimed by the government, especially number 15, namely Life on land. The objectives of the PkM-BR Al-Falah As-sunniyah university of Kencong Jember student work program are, 1) Increasing the participation of farmer groups in Kepanjen Village in the management of organic fertilizer planting systems, 2) Hands-on training on the manufacture of liquid organic fertilizer; 3) Improving the quality of agricultural production. The type of data collected is primary data and the methods used in this activity are counseling about the importance of sustainable land functions, the importance of maintaining ecosystem balance, the benefits of using organic fertilizers, hands-on practical training on the use of liquid organic fertilizers, the application of liquid organic fertilizer systems in rice fields. The activity is in collaboration with the Gumkmas Agriculture Office (Tun ToT CSA BPP). The support of the Kepanjen Village apparatus, farmer groups, community leaders, and farmers in Krajan Hamlet, Kepanjen Village for the organic fertilizer planting system is very high, this is evidenced by the direct participation of these elements in the process of initial extension activities to the application of the organic fertilizer system. The conclusion from the application of the organic fertilizer planting system is that the production cost of the organic fertilizer planting system is cheaper than the inorganic (chemical) fertilizer planting system.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Pemberdayaan terhadap warga pesantren Mamba’ul Khoiriyatil Islamiyah kecamatan Bangsalsari kabupaten Jember ditujukan kepada potensi-potensi yang sudah ada di pesantren dan belum dikembangkan. Potensi tersebuat diantaranya adalah tersedianya lahan kosong di kawasan pesantren yang belum dimanfaatkan. Kurangnya kesadaran warga pesantren untuk menghijaukan lahan mati serta menjamurnya budaya konsumtif pada diri santri. Untuk menyikapi masalah ini maka dilakukan program pengabdian kepada masyarakat berbasis riset yang disingkat dengan PkM-BR di lingkungan pesantren dalam bentuk budidaya holtikultura (bayam,kangkung,cabai dan terong) dengan memanfaatkan lahan kosong pesantren Mamba’ul Khoiriyatil Islamiyah. Grand tema Program pengabdian kepada Masyarakat yang digagas oleh Institut Agama Islam Al-Falah As-Sunniyah Kencong Jember (PkM-BR) tahun 2022 adalah membangun masyarakat sejahtera berbasis SDGs. SDGs yang digarap di pesantren ini adalah mewujudkan pesantren go green yang dilakukan selama 40 hari dengan metode EBR (Empowerment Based Rerearch) yang langkahnya adalah ECA-EVARED yakni terdiri dari Explore, Create and Action. Evaluation. Report and dessemination. Pembangunan berkelanjutan (sustainable development) merupakan strategi yang diusung dalam pengambilan kebijakan yang berupaya menyelaraskan keseimbangan agar hidup manusia dapat selaras dan terus mempertahankan keberadaan lingkungan yang menjadi pendukung kehidupannya. Dengan memadukan aspek lingkungan hidup dan sosial ke dalam strategi pembangunan untuk menjamin kebutuhan lingkungan hidup serta keselamatan, kemampuan, kesejahteraan dan mutu hidup generasi masa kini dan masa depan. Hasil pemberdayaan ini adalah termanfaatkannya lahan kosong di sekitar pesantren dengan pembudidayaan holtikultura, timbulnya kesadaran warga pesantren untuk menghijaukan lahan serta hilangnya budaya konsumtif dari diri santri. Adanya partisipasi warga di sekitar pesantren juga mendorong keberhasilan program pemberdayaan ini. Program pemberdayaan warga pesantren perlu dilakukan secara berkesinambungan,sehingga dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan dan kemandirian pesantren.

Abstract

This tutoring activity is a service motivated by the many learning problems experienced by students due to online learning during the pandemic which was carried out at home. Some of the obstacles are the lack of knowledge of parents about material, technology, and assisting their children. In addition, children's interest in learning is reduced, it is difficult to operate technology, and learning facilities are inadequate. Then service through tutoring is carried out with the aim of improving the quality and creativity of children's learning. The implementation method is carried out in several stages, namely the exploration, create and action, evaluation, report and dessimination stages. The results of this dedication prove that Joyful Learning-based tutoring helps students who initially have low interest in learning because the quality of learning is not good, after participating in tutoring the quality and creativity of children's learning is maximized.
