Abstract

Pada banyak buku manajemen organisasi analisis situasi sering dimunculkan dengan aspek SWOT yang aplikasinya adalah bagaimana kekuatan (strengths) mampu mengambil keuntungan (advantage) dari peluang (opportunities) yang ada, bagaimana cara mengatasi kelemahan (weaknesses) yang mencegah keuntungan (advantage) dari peluang (opportunities)yang ada, selanjutnya bagaimana kekuatan (strengths) mampu menghadapi ancaman (threats) yang ada, dan terakhir adalah bagimana cara mengatasi kelemahan (weaknesses) yang mampu membuat ancaman (threats) menjadi nyata atau menciptakan sebuah ancaman baru. Peningkatan kualitas hidup melalui inovasi singkong yang diselenggarakan di desa tegal sari khususnya para ibu rumah tangga memperoleh respon yang positif. Para warga masyarakat yang mengikuti pelatihan inovasi singkong dan di akhir pelatihan memperoleh modal berupa sejumlah hasil dari inovasi singkong dan dapat memperoleh kesempatan untuk mandiri atau kelompok sebagai bahan baku olahan masakan yang sehat untuk keluarga. Oleh karena inovasi singkong tidak memerlukan modl yang besar, pada akhirnya dapat menjadi media saling membelajarkan, berkomunikasi demi bertambahnya wawasan dan merubah paradigma berpikir dari yang tidak melakukan apa-apa menjadi dapat melakukan aktivitas bahkan memberi layanan yang lebih baik akan kebutuhan makanan sehat bagi keluarganya.

Abstract

Kebutuhan akan peningkatan kualitas kehidupan (yang sinergis dengan ketahanan pangan, gizi dan lingkungan yang tertata, bersih dan mencukupi kebutuhan hidup diri dan keluarga) tampaknya semakin dibutuhkan oleh sebagian penduduk yang tinggal di desa tegal sari, oleh karena itu kegiatan PkM oleh dosen-dosen Universitas Saburai ini diperuntukkan bagi warga desa tegal sari yang diasumsikan memiliki kemauan keras untuk mengembangkan jiwa kewirausahaan dengan melakukan pengembangan singkong. Hal ini menjadi pilihan oleh karena singkong diminati seluruh manusia dan bisa dijadikan banyak macam camilan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan pokok materi mengenai pelatihan inovasi sigkong dilaksanakan dengan beberapa tahap. Pada tahap pertama adalah rekrutmen peserta dengan melalui para ketua RT dimintai daftar nama peserta yang sekiranya mau, mampu mengikuti kegiatan secara penuh dan terlebih dapat mengembangkan pengetahuan dan keterampilannya pasca pelatihan secara berkesinambungan. Sistem rekrumen ini sangat lazim dilakukan untuk mengawali berbagai kegiatan program pemberdayaan masyarakat. Dengan mencari informasi melalui pebisnis yang sudah berhasil sebagai sumber informasi maka kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini menjadi kegiatan lebih menyenangkan, mudah diterima dan berdampak pada peningkatan motivasi untuk melakukan usaha inovasi singkong, minimal untuk memenuhi kebutuhan diri dan keluarganya saja. Penyajian pengetahuan dan pelatihan singkong dengan menggunakan metode ceramah, tanya jawab yang berkaitan dengan singkong serta praktek pemeliharaan yang baik. Metode demonstrasi dan menunjukkan singkong dalam berbagai aneka camilan.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kualitas pelayanan dan kualitas SDM terhadap kepuasan konsumen pada Dinas Penanaman Modal dan Pelayanan Perizinan Terpadu Satu Pintu (DPMPTSP) Kabupaten Lampung Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan menyebarkan angket/kuesioner kepada 75 orang masyarakat pengguna layanan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kualitas pelayanan dan kualitas SDM memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan konsumen pada DPMPTSP Kabupaten Lampung Selatan. Oleh karena itu, DPMPTSP perlu meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan dan kualitas SDM untuk meningkatkan kepuasan konsumen. Kata kunci: Kualitas Pelayanan, Kualitas SDM, Kepuasan Konsumen.

Abstract

To achieve optimal employee performance, special attention must be given to all factors that influence performance, including environmental factors and infrastructure. At Tunas Wiyata Vocational School, the work environment is not yet considered conducive, leading to delays in the teaching and learning process, resulting in suboptimal performance of teachers and staff. Additionally, some teachers have not yet utilized the available facilities and infrastructure effectively. Infrastructure at Tunas Wiyata Vocational School also faces various challenges, such as poor building conditions, inadequate availability of study room equipment, and office spaces that do not meet expectations. Furthermore, there is a limited supply of teaching media and aids necessary for diverse teaching methods that adapt to classroom needs. This study aims to examine: 1) The influence of the work environment on employee performance, 2) The influence of infrastructure on employee performance, and 3) The combined influence of the work environment and infrastructure on employee performance at Tunas Wiyata Vocational High School. The research uses a quantitative descriptive method, analyzing numerical data to understand relationships between variables within a population. Simple and multiple regression analyses were used, with 49 respondents participating in the study. Based on the research results, it was found that the work environment and infrastructure variables influenced the performance of SMK Tunas Wiyata teachers, both partially and simultaneously.

Abstract

Occupational health and safety (OHS) issues in the oil and gas industry are critical factors that influence worker safety and the operational continuity of companies. The oil and gas industry is known for its high-risk environment, which involves hazardous chemicals, high pressures, extreme temperatures, and the potential for accidents that can harm the environment. One of the high-risk activities in this industry is the catalyst replacement process in the butane treater, which is crucial for removing impurities from butane during gas processing. This process carries significant hazards, such as exposure to hazardous chemicals, fire, and explosion. This study aims to identify and analyze the OHS risks associated with the catalyst replacement process in the butane treater and to develop mitigation recommendations that can be implemented to minimize hazards and improve worker safety.The method used in this study is the Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Determining Control (HIRADC) method, a systematic approach for identifying hazards, assessing risks, and determining appropriate control measures. This method allows for comprehensive hazard identification and risk mapping based on the probability and impact levels, enabling the proposal of effective mitigation actions. The study analyzes potential hazards that may arise during the catalyst replacement process and the mitigation procedures to reduce these risks.The results of the study show that the catalyst replacement process in the butane treater involves several key risks, such as exposure to hazardous gases, fire, explosion, and risks associated with improper work procedures. Proposed mitigations include enhancing standard operating procedures, safety training, the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and the implementation of technical controls such as ventilation systems and equipment safety measures. By applying these recommendations, it is expected that the risk of accidents can be minimized, and worker safety can be better maintained.Top of Form

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh karakteristik pekerjaan terhadap kepuasan kerja pada pegawai di Kecamatan Batu Brak, Kabupaten Lampung Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua variabel, yaitu karakteristik pekerjaan (sebagai variabel independen) dan kepuasan kerja (sebagai variabel dependen). Data dikumpulkan melalui metode pengumpulan data primer dan sekunder, dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik pekerjaan berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan kerja dengan kontribusi sebesar 31,6%, sedangkan 68,4% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak teridentifikasi dalam penelitian ini. Pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik pekerjaan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja dengan nilai signifikansi 0,02 yang lebih kecil dari 0,05. Faktor-faktor yang dapat meningkatkan semangat kerja antara lain gaji, fasilitas yang memadai, serta motivasi dari pemimpin. Penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi bahwa untuk meningkatkan kepuasan kerja, organisasi perlu memperhatikan karakteristik pekerjaan dan faktor-faktor lain yang mempengaruhinya.

Abstract

Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi dan juga masukan kepada masyarakat Pematang Johar dalam mengelola kawasan Wisata Pematang Johar menjadi tempat wisata yang banyak dikunjungi oleh wisatawan. Dengan adanya keterlibatan perangkat desa dan juga masyarakat dapat memberikan hasil yang lebih baik dalam membuat kawasan wisata Pematang Johar menjadi tempat disukai bukan hanya dari segi pemandangan saja, tetapi juga dari segi keramahtamahan masyarakat setempat. Keberhasilan kegiatan pengabdian ini dapat diukur dengan menyampaikan beberapa materi, berbagi pengalaman dan juga memberikan berbagai contoh bentuk pengelolaan yang baik. Abstract

Foreign workers in Indonesia have skills in the transfer of knowledge or know-how. In practice, foreign workers often have problems, such as layoff disputes. This research is a normative research, with a Law approach and a Case Approach. The legal materials used are primary, secondary, and tertiary, along with the literature data collection. Data analysis is descriptive and analytical with a qualitative approach. The research results are, first, that the legal protection of the rights of foreign workers who are unilaterally laid off has been regulated in Article 62 and Article 156 of Law Number 13 of 2003 concerning Manpower and strengthened by Government Regulation Number 35 of 2021. The rights obtained by the laid-off TKA are in the form of Severance Pay, Service Period Award Money, and Rights Replacement Money. However, not all of these rights can be obtained. Second, legal remedies can be taken by workers who are laid off due to the employer's failure to fulfil their rights through litigation and non-litigation settlement efforts and in the case of TKA, based on decision Number 12/Pdt.Sus-PHI/2021/PNMtr, the rights of TKA granted by the judge are basic salary from March to September 2020, with a calculation: Rp.21,750,00.00 x 7 = Rp. 152,000,000.00. Abstract

The research investigates the less than optimal performance of employees of Badan Kesatuan Bangsa dan Politik Provinsi Lampung. It consists of three variables, namely, organizational culture, work discipline, and employee performance. The research aims to find about the levels of organizational culture, work discipline, and employee performance. In addition, it intends to find about the influence of organizational culture on employees performance, the influence of work discipline on employee performance, and the influence of organizational culture and work discipline on employee performance at the Badan Kesatuan Bangsa dan Politik Provinsi Lampung. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of organizational culture and work discipline on employee performance. The hypothesis in this research is that there is an influence of organizational culture and work discipline, both partially and simultaneously, on employee performance. The sample in this study consisted of 43 employees. Data collection techniques include observation, documentation and questionnaires. The data analysis method uses a quantitative approach with the help of SPSS version 21.0 statistical tools including calculation of validity tests, reliability tests, simple and multiple linear regression tests, t tests, F tests and coefficient of determination tests. The results of hypothesis testing show that the organizational culture partially has a positive effect on employee performance. work discipline has a positive effect on performance. Simultaneous hypothesis testing shows that the organizational culture and work discipline together have a positive effect on performance with a contribution of 87,5%, while the remaining 12,5% is a variation of other variables outside this research.

Abstract

Transformational leadership is recognized for its ability to inspire and motivate team members to reach their maximum potential, while work motivation encompasses various internal and external factors that drive employees to excel. This study employs a quantitative approach with a survey method to collect data from employees of the Kesbangpol. The data is analyzed using multiple linear regression to determine the extent to which transformational leadership and work motivation affect employee performance. The findings reveal that transformational leadership significantly impacts the enhancement of employee performance, while work motivation also positively contributes to performance. The study suggests that implementing transformational leadership styles and effective motivation strategies can improve organizational performance, particularly in government agencies like Kesbangpol. The objective of this research is to examine the influence of transformational leadership and work motivation on employee performance. The hypothesis posits that transformational leadership and work motivation have both partial and simultaneous effects on employee performance. The sample comprises 46 respondents. Data collection techniques include observation, documentation, and questionnaires. Data analysis is conducted using a quantitative approach with SPSS version 21.0, encompassing validity testing, reliability testing, simple and multiple linear regression analysis, t-tests, F-tests, and coefficient of determination tests. The hypothesis testing results indicate that transformational leadership has a positive partial effect on employee performance with a contribution of 49.9%. Work motivation positively impacts employee performance with a contribution of 38.8%. The combined effect of leadership and work motivation on employee performance is 52,8%.
