Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan informasi, gambaran dan pengetahuan yang mendalam bagi pendidik, peserta didik dan masyarakat umum terkait seni bela diri pencak silat dapat dijadikan sebagai filter asimilasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data primer berupa observasi dan wawancara sedangkan pengumpulan data sekunder dengan menggunakan ebook, karya tulis ilmiah dan sumber data yang relevan lainnya. Teknik yang digunakan untuk memilih informan ialah purposive sampling, dengan informan masyarakat yang tergabung kedalam seni bela diri pencak silat dan beberapa masyarakat yang tinggal di sekitar Kampung Samapun (bukan anggota seni bela diri pencak silat). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seni bela diri pencak silat di Kampung Samapun, Desa Cililitan, Kecamatan Picung, Kabupaten Pandeglang dapat dijadikan sebagai filter asimilasi yang saat ini sedang berkembang.

Abstract

In the family there are family functions, one of which is the function of education. Parents as the main role in the family should fulfill the function of education for their children. One of the functions of education is the fulfillment of formal education such as schools and non-formal education such as religious education. The limitations of parents in providing educational functions for their children, especially religious education, make parents worried about the future of their children in today's developments. This study focuses on examining the factors that encourage parents to choose religion-based schools over public schools. The background of the problem from this research is the number of parents who choose the education of their sons and daughters in Islamic religious-based schools so that many public schools are less desirable. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of field research where the research informants are parents who send their children to MI Randegan, Kebasen District, Banyumas Regency. The sampling technique used is the saturated sample technique where the informants of this study amounted to 15 parents who sent their children to MI Randegan, Kebasen District. While the data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The research site is in the Kebasen sub-district, Banyumas district, Central Java province, where in fact the surrounding community is about parents sending their children to religion-based schools.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the use of conventional learning models at SMAN 7 Serang City which had an influence on student learning outcomes that were less than optimal. The aim of this research is to determine whether the project based learning model can improve student learning outcomes in sociology subjects at SMAN 7 Serang City. In this research, researchers used a qualitative approach and used descriptive research methods. The results of the research are that the application of the project based learning model in class XII IPS can improve student learning achievement. This is reflected in the students' pre-test results by giving several questions in a quiz and they can explain the results of their work in front of the class.
