Abstract

This study intended to determine the feasibility of the Contextual Teaching Learning model in Arabic learning at MTsN Batu. This research-based on the stigma that developed in society showed that learning Arabic was considered problematic and complicated. That caused the problems that came from teachers were the lack of professionalism in teaching and the limitations of the components that will affect the Arabic learning process's implementation in terms of learning models. While the problems that arose from students in learning Arabic were the necessary experience, school background, mastery of mufradat (vocabulary), and family environmental factors, which then impact difficulties in understanding reading and not being able to master Arabic in full either in grammar and its communication. This research used quantitative and qualitative method with a descriptive-analytical type. The participants in this study were 32 students at MTsN Batu East Java. Research data collected from the questioner, observation, interviews and documentation. The study's findings showed that the percentage of the feasibility of the Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL) learning model in Arabic learning was 82.44% with mean 140,16. This finding means that the Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL) learning model's implementation at MTsN Batu was in an outstanding category. The components of the Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL) learning model during the learning process have been fulfilled. This study indicated that the Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL) model during the Arabic learning process was suitable only for specific materials.

Abstract

This research was based on the problems about teaching materials which was less attractive because the teaching materials were initially not based on technology. The aims of this study was to develop tarkib teaching materials based on motion graphic for 7th graders of Islamic junior high school by analyzing the necessity and the feasibility of tarkib teaching materials based on motion graphic according to the experts’ assessment. This research data were obtained from interviews and students’ responses to teaching materials. The interviews were conducted with groups of students as participants in the research. Meanwhile, the students’ responses were confirmed to 34 students. Thus, the results of this research were as follows: 1) Tarkib teaching materials in the form of print out and video based on motion graphic. 2) The products were very feasible, 93% according to design experts, 93% to material experts, 90% to media experts. 3) The results of the product effectiveness trial of  tarkib teaching materials based on motion graphic were 90% for one to one learner, 95% for the small group test. The development of tarkib teaching materials based on motion graphic had a significant effect on the Arabic teaching materials especially tarkib and could make students more active, independent and comfortable during the learning process. Hence, this paper suggested the teacher and institution in solving the problems in Arabic learning especially tarkib.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi nilai-nilai Pancasila melalui kegiatan musyawarah mahasiswa. Subjek penelitian yaitu mahasiswa yang pernah terlibat dan mengetahui alur dalam kegiatan musyawarah mahasiswa. Jenis penelitian yang yang dipakai yaitu penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik analisisnya menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif, dan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu melalui penyebaran angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi nilai-nilai Pancasila dalam kegiatan musyawarah mahasiswa adalah: 1) Pertama; menghormati setiap perbedaan keyakinan, tidak mengganggu ibadah masing-masing, toleransi, dan aturan ormawa yang berlandaskan Al-Quran dan As-Sunnah. 2) Kedua; kebebasan dalam menyampaikan pendapat dan mengedepankan adab, serta pemilihan mekanisnme kegiatan secara adil dan berkemanusiaan. 3) Ketiga; mempersatukan pandangan untuk meraih tujuan yang sama dan bersikap nasionalisme. 4) Keempat; pelaksanaan kegiatan dengan jalan musyawarah, tidak memaksakan kehendak orang lain, menghormati keputusan yang telah disepakati, dan menjunjung tinggi semangat kekeluargaan, dan seluruh keputusan berada ditangan mahasiswa. 5) Kelima; seluruh mahasiswa memiliki hak yang sama dalam bersuara.
