Abstract

This study aims to describe the teacher’s role for the character building of student’s independence in the first grade in SD Negeri 1 Kedalon Wonosobo. This research use qualitative method for collecting the data using observation, interviews, and documentation. Secondary data was analyzed by using qualitative analysis technique. Examination of the validity of the data used triangulation techniques and triangulation of sources. Interviews were conducted on principals, the teacher of grade one, and  the student who in the grade one with the aim of obtaining data and information about the teacher's role in shaping the independent character of students in frist grade at SD Negeri Kedalon Wonosobo.The results of the research on the role of teachers in the character building of students who in the grade one at SD Negeri 1 Kedalon Wonosobo, teachers can shape the character of students' independence because , the teacher who got the responsibility to teach them or who got their own class, it can make a deal directly with their students and have a longer intensity of meetings with students when compared to principals and other educators. The teacher plays a role in directing and guiding students so that they have maturity in speaking or acting through words and actions. Teachers try to be able to guard and enforce discipline, both to themselves, students, and others. The teacher guides them to learn, to understand, and to solve the problems with themself                                                                                            Keyword : character education, roles of teachers, students independence

Abstract

Era Revolusi Industri 4.0 menuntut guru sekolah dasar memiliki keterampilan literasi digital yang memadai agar dapat merancang pembelajaran interaktif yang relevan dengan kebutuhan abad ke-21. Namun, hasil pemetaan di Komunitas Belajar Sri Gunting, Bantul, menunjukkan sebagian besar guru masih memiliki keterbatasan dalam memanfaatkan teknologi, belum pernah mengikuti pelatihan teknologi pembelajaran, serta minim dalam menghasilkan media interaktif. Kondisi tersebut berdampak pada rendahnya kualitas pembelajaran di kelas. Program pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi digital guru melalui pelatihan pembuatan e-modul interaktif berbasis hypermedia. Kegiatan dilaksanakan selama enam bulan dengan melibatkan 20 guru sekolah dasar. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi tahap persiapan, pelatihan literasi digital, workshop pembuatan e-modul, pendampingan, serta uji coba pembelajaran di kelas. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan 85% guru berhasil menghasilkan e-modul interaktif, 18 e-modul dinyatakan layak digunakan, dan skor literasi digital meningkat rata-rata 30 poin. Uji coba kelas memperlihatkan peningkatan partisipasi siswa sebesar 35% serta tingkat kepuasan guru mencapai 90%. Program ini menyimpulkan bahwa pelatihan berbasis praktik mampu meningkatkan kompetensi digital guru, memberikan dampak positif terhadap kualitas pembelajaran, serta mendukung implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka melalui penguatan diferensiasi dan Profil Pelajar Pancasila.

Abstract

The success of the learning process is significantly influenced by the students' enthusiasm in what they are studying. Students' focus and excitement for studying may be increased by using interactive and captivating learning resources. Animated video is one such medium as it makes the content easier to understand and shows it graphically. Thus, the purpose of this study was to ascertain how well animated video content affected fifth-grade science students' attention. In this work, an experimental method was combined with a quantitative approach. A control class and an experimental class, each with 24 pupils, made up the sample. A learning interest questionnaire was employed for data collection, and it was given as a pretest and posttest. Independent sample t-tests, homogeneity tests, and normality tests were used to examine the data. According to the findings, the experimental class's average posttest score was 43.04167, which was higher than the control group's average score of 38.54167. The significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) obtained from the hypothesis test was 0.009 < 0.05. Therefore, it can be said that using animated video content increases fifth-grade kids' interest in studying science. Keywords: animated video, interest in learning, science.
