Abstract

Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah mengetahui adanya pengaruh konsep diri dan kemampuan kognitif terhadap minat pada pelajaran Bahasa Inggris. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survey korelasional, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 73 orang, yang diambil menggunakan teknik proportionate stratified random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah instrument pengisian angket dan tes hasil belajar. Dari hasil penelitian perhitungan analisis regresi diperoleh persamaan garis regresi Y = 42,574 + 0,332 X1 + 0,359 X2 dengan nilai signifikan 0,000 lebih kecil dari nilai α = 0,05 hal ini menunjukkan bahwa regresi berpola linear. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 1) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan konsep diri dan kemampuan kognitif terhadap minat pada pelajaran Bahasa Inggris, siswa SMK swasta kota Tangerang, hal ini dibuktikan dengan perolehan nilai sig. 0,000 < 0,05 dah Fh = 16,385. Secara bersama-sama konsep diri dan kemampuan kognitif memberikan kontribusi sebesar 31,9 % terhadap variabel minat belajar Bahasa Inggris. 2) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan konsep diri terhadap minat belajar Bahasa Inggris, siswa SMK swasta kota Tangerang, hal ini dibuktikan dengan perolehan nilai sig. 0,004 < 0,05 dah th = 2,986. Variabel konsep diri memberikan kontribusi sebesar 14,33 % dalam meningkatkan minat belajar Bahasa Inggris. 3) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan konsep diri terhadap minat belajar Bahasa Inggris, siswa SMK swasta kota Tangerang, hal ini dibuktikan dengan perolehan nilai sig. 0,001 < 0,05 dah th = 3,425. Variabel konsep diri memberikan kontribusi sebesar 17,55 % dalam meningkatkan minat belajar Bahasa Inggris.

Abstract

This research is intended to analysis of the English summative test for the tenth grade students of SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Jakarta in the 2013/2014 academic year. The research method used to analyze the item of English summative test for senior high school are quantitative and qualitative method. Quantitative method was used to analyze data of the facility value and discriminating power of each item. The qualitative method was used to describe and analyze the quality of test items. Abstract

This research is intended to make learners using the correct part of speech in the correct position in the sentence. The research method used to teaching part of speech through a story is descriptive method by reading, finding, identifying, classifying and writing about the part of speech related to the story. The participants of this research are the students of one of university in Jakarta. The results of this research are: there are 17 nouns, 33 verbs, 18 adjectives, 11 adverbs, 9 pronouns, 11 prepositions, 5 conjunctions and 1 interjection. Keywords: Teaching, Speech, Tortoise, Hare

Abstract

This research studies the speech acts of Jo March the main character in the movie Little Women 2019 and aims to find out the type and form of speech acts in Jo's utterances and which one is the most dominant. The speech act is a theory that examines the meaning of language based on the relationship between utterances and actions performed by speakers and hearers to communicate something. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method to obtain data. The writer collected data by watching the movie of Little Women 2019. In investigating Jo's speech acts, this study applied Searle's (1979) theory of speech acts in analyzing the utterances produced by Jo in the movie Little Women. There are five types of speech acts used by Jo, including assertive with 5 utterances, directive with 10 utterances, commissive with 6 expressive utterances with 9 utterances, and declarative with 2 utterances. So, the amount of data is 32 data and the most dominant speech act used by Jo is the directive speech act.

Abstract

In literary works, films cannot be separated from life, one of which discusses the issue of discrimination against women, a phenomenon that continues to be actively debated in society and gave birth to the feminism movement. Feminism can also appear through films, one of which is Merry Riana. Therefore, this paper aims to find out what is meant by feminism and how feminism is reflected in films and associated with liberal feminism. This study uses a qualitative method with sources from the original Merry Riana video. The writer uses data collection techniques from online sources. The data were collected by watching the film and understanding the film's dialogue several times and making observations to strengthen the analysis using the semiotic theory by Charles Sanders Pierce. The results of this study indicate that: (1) 8 data indicate the presence of elements of feminism in Merry Riana's action. (2) Feminism is shown through Signs, Objects and Interpreters. (3) In liberal feminism, it proves that women are not only focused on the private sphere, but can also be in the public sphere. Key words: Literature, Movie, Merry Riana, Feminism

Abstract

Operasi Militer Selain Perang (OMSP) oleh Tentara Nasional Indonesia (TNI) kerap kali menghadapkan prajurit pada dilema antara menjalankan tugas negara dan menjaga kepatuhan terhadap prinsip-prinsip hak asasi manusia (HAM). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bentuk perlindungan hukum yang seharusnya diberikan kepada prajurit TNI dalam pelaksanaan OMSP, dengan fokus pada perspektif HAM. Metode yang digunakan adalah yuridis normatif melalui telaah pustaka terhadap regulasi nasional dan instrumen internasional yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat kesenjangan regulatif, lemahnya pengawasan, dan sering terjadi tumpang tindih kewenangan antara TNI dan Polri yang berpotensi menimbulkan pelanggaran HAM dan kriminalisasi terhadap prajurit. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan adanya penegasan batas kewenangan, penyusunan standar operasional prosedur yang komprehensif, dan penguatan mekanisme akuntabilitas guna menjamin perlindungan hukum yang adil bagi prajurit dalam kerangka negara hukum
